Relaxing and unique property featuring pretty wrap-a porches. Spacious room with original hardwood floors and comfortable bed. Modern tile bathroom offers a large walk-in shower. Very clean with nice amenities. I will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Very amazing place. Convenient self-check. The room is spacious, and cleaner than any hotel I've ever stayed. There were no chemical smells that always greet one when first entering a hotel room. The bed was exceedingly comfortable. The bathroom was exquisite. We enjoyed coffee in the room. Even though there was an event downstairs, the noise did not bother us. The only not-so-good thing was the darkness where we parked our car. Later lights were lit but I'm not sure if they weren't for the party. We plan to book there again when we visit.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Its a great old house that has been updated enough, but still looks classic. The hardwood floors are amazing, but the bathroom is modern. It has 12' ceilings and modern air conditioning has been added to each room. We walked everywhere that we wanted to in Abita Springs from the front door. There is private parking around back for hotel guests. Ill definitely stay here again when im in the area!

This was a lovely stay. If you want a laid-back cultural experience in a historical southern home, this is for you. It is not a super fancy hotel with a lot of amenities, but rather a quiet, relaxing stay. I loved being in the center of things; next to the bike trail, across the street from the park, brew pub, an old-fashioned grocery story, and down the street from the eccentric Abita Mystery House. We did, however, wonder why on-line photos suggested there was a downstairs common area, when it was locked and we had no access. Also, the area underneath the porch was littered with junk and could’ve been nicer. All in all, we loved it, but I think the property has much bigger potential. Also, we got a note on our car for parking in the back lot where we were supposed to park.

Our group consisted of five couples. Each one had a room. Abita Springs Hotel offered us an opportunity to get away and enjoyed the time together. The second floor porch gave us an opportunity to catch up with plenty of laughs. Great place to walk to restaurants, the park and a grocery store in walking distance. Perfect place.

Very cute property. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Room 4 faces back of house and garden. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the outdoor wrap around porch facing the garden and water feature. Large shower. Had everything we needed for last minute weekend stay. Great stay!

The location was great—right in the heart of town! Tucked under live oaks and blossoming flowers, it was so charming and quaint. Loved the modern amenities inside, with access to bikes to ride the trail that ran right in front of the hotel. We will be back!

This place is lovely. My daughter and I spent a weekend visiting friends in the area. The room was beautiful and clean. The bed was comfortable. I loved the giant shower. The hotel is right on the hike and bike path and very easy walking distance from shops and restaurants. I will absolutely stay here again next time I visit Abita Springs.

Room updated and clean but needed a good dust job. Noise levels were higher than expected (into the overnight) as there is a busy road. Overall would stay again.

A very Lovely building, and room. Loved the shower, but you might consider putting some grab bars in the shower as a slip/fall prevention. Being that this was a described as a Hotel, I was a little disappointed in that there was no room service. We stayed for 4 nights and our trash cans were overflowing. If it were a B&B I could understand. It was up to us to make (or not make) the bed. We did get an E-mail telling us what room we had and how to unlock the door. Also gave us a phone number to contact for any needs, but I felt that it would have been nice if we would have been contacted to welcome us and see if there was anything we might need. Never received a name or anything.

The room was airy and clean. We struggled with the in room air conditioning/heater and it took a while to heat the room. The shower curtain doesn’t fit the shower and the shower drain was put in the wrong place - it’s like you stand in a bowl of water while you’re showering.

The biggest gripe I have is no counter for makeup in the bathroom. Also, we only received coffee and granola bar on the first day. Had to call for coffee and bars. Have never experienced this kind of service before. Also, our tv didn’t get any local channels and was unless to us. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The pillows left a lot to be desired.

The room is very well appointed. My heat didn't work and I would have froze except I had my own heater. The door lock on my room was quite difficult to operate. Otherwise the rooms are very nice.

The hotel is an historic building in the heart of Abita Springs. Rooms are nicely furnished. Staff is not always on site, but is reachable at all times. Neighborhood is safe and walkable, with good food options, less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I recommend the Abita Brew Pub for a good lunch or dinner.

Celebrating our 2 year anniversary, we decided to book again at the Abita Springs Hotel. The room we originally booked did have an AC malfunction and the liason quickly moved us into another more luxurious room. The stay was incredible, one we will never forget!! If I did have anything to say, it would be that I did text the number to get more towels and never got a response. It ended up being ok in the end, but thought I'd mention it.
Celebrating our 2 year anniversary, we decided to book again at the Abita Springs Hotel. The hotel is a one minute walk to the Abita Brew Pub, Rosie's is also quite close, and driving to several good restaurants in Covington takes about 8 minutes. We never met anyone on staff at the hotel but we received texts when we needed info. The price seemed slightly lower than I expected for this level of quality.

I’m gonna start off saying, READ YOUR CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS. We had a tad bit trouble getting the code for our room but it was completely our fault. The Abita hotel was nothing short of an absolute magnificent stay!!! Incredibly comfortable and immaculately clean. I took my maternity pictures here during our stay so this little hotel will always be special to me.

This was my second time staying here, and I did not think my experience could have gotten any better. But to my delight, it totally did! Shawna went above and beyond helping me with my reservation. She even continued to check in on the progress of my situation to ensure I was taken care of. This is the most adorable little hotel with so much character. Much better than a run of the mill hotel.

This is my third stay here. I love the rooms and location in a quaint, quiet city. You can easily walk to three restaurants, a grocery store, beautiful park and a lovely walking path. I just love this place. We enjoy drinking our coffee in the morning on the porch and wine/beer in the evenings. Our hosts are great answering our questions and providing for our needs.

This place is lovely. My daughter and I spent a weekend visiting friends in the area. The room was beautiful and clean. The bed was comfortable. I loved the giant shower. The hotel is right on the hike and bike path and very easy walking distance from shops and restaurants. I will absolutely stay here again next time I visit Abita Springs.

We were visiting family in Covington and this provided a great nearby location. It is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and has access to a great bicycling trail. Abita Cafe is a great breakfast option one block away and the neighboring "museum" is fun! Room #4 was perfect.

The Abita Springs Hotel is an excellent choice for this area. Our room was very clean and very well appointed -- everything worked well. The hotel is a one minute walk to the Abita Brew Pub, Rosie's is also quite close, and driving to several good restaurants in Covington takes about 8 minutes. We never met anyone on staff at the hotel but we received texts when we needed info. The price seemed slightly lower than I expected for this level of quality.

Very easy to park, and great dining options in walking distance (Abita beer pub and Abita cafe). Also great access to the Tammany trail - 30 min walk to the Abita Brewey! Awesome location away from the chaos.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Its a great old house that has been updated enough, but still looks classic. The hardwood floors are amazing, but the bathroom is modern. It has 12' ceilings and modern air conditioning has been added to each room. We walked everywhere that we wanted to in Abita Springs from the front door. There is private parking around back for hotel guests. Ill definitely stay here again when im in the area!

This is my third stay here. I love the rooms and location in a quaint, quiet city. You can easily walk to three restaurants, a grocery store, beautiful park and a lovely walking path. I just love this place. We enjoy drinking our coffee in the morning on the porch and wine/beer in the evenings. Our hosts are great answering our questions and providing for our needs.

Wonderful property in the heart of Abita. We could easily walk to restaurants for dinner and catch a music performance at the town hall. We only had one night; but, will check the calendar to see if we can come back when things are happening at the market.

House is super cute bed was comfortable pillows not so much. Street was noisy in early morning but quiet at night. Walkable to restaurant and bars. Over all we had a nice stay.

The hotel is an historic building in the heart of Abita Springs. Rooms are nicely furnished. Staff is not always on site, but is reachable at all times. Neighborhood is safe and walkable, with good food options, less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I recommend the Abita Brew Pub for a good lunch or dinner.

Very amazing place. Convenient self-check. The room is spacious, and cleaner than any hotel I've ever stayed. There were no chemical smells that always greet one when first entering a hotel room. The bed was exceedingly comfortable. The bathroom was exquisite. We enjoyed coffee in the room. Even though there was an event downstairs, the noise did not bother us. The only not-so-good thing was the darkness where we parked our car. Later lights were lit but I'm not sure if they weren't for the party. We plan to book there again when we visit.

We loved our stay here! The room was so cutely appointed! And despite being an older place I found it to feel rustic but modern and smelled great! Bed was also very comfortable! The only thing I could say is that complementary water would be a nice extra touch. I always bring extra anyway so it worked out fine! The complimentary coffee pods were good. I did two cause I like a strong cup and I was actually pleasantly surprised with how good they were! I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful little 5 bedroom hotel, plenty of space in room, nice covered balcony to sit on outside. Air con was good. Not much of interest in Abita Springs, a small town based around a roundabout it seems, except for 3 things - one good restuarant (Abita Springs Cafe), a superb ice cream stop, and the weirdest museum in the world (a must visit). Would never have come across these things if we hadn't stayed here.
