Personal teilweise sehr zuvorkommend (Rezeption, Abendservice), teilweise aber auch von fast schon skurrilen Erschöpfungsanfällen auf Grund von Großgesellschaften (Hochzeiten) gezeichnet. Frühstück eher bescheiden. Restaurant ok.

Fantastiskt läge på hotellet (5) och fantastisk utsikt från vår balkong (5). Härligt med all marmor på hotellet (5). Härlig terass för frukost (5). Bra parkering (5). Vacker matsal (4). Men för standarden borde ha funnits pool. Maten (2) och vinet (1) en besvikelse. Frukosten bara ok (3).

Das Hotel ist hier und da etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber deshalb nicht unbedingt schlecht. Alles war sauber und der Service zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Beste war aber der Ausblick vom Balkon. Schade war, dass man auf den vielen Terrassen keine Möglichkeit hatte, sich auf einer Liege zu sonnen. Auch der Pool wurde gerade mit Steinen und Sand zugeschüttet. Warum auch immer. In dem kleinen Örtchen ist nicht viel los. Also perfekt, um zu entspannen. Allerdings sollte einem klar sein, dass es nach Amalfi oder Positano jeweils über eine Stunde mit dem Auto dauert.

Amazing view off our balcony. Had a rental car and plenty of free parking. Ate next door at Restaurant Leonardo’s often. It was amazing. Unfortunatelyz, didn’t even try the restaurant in the hotel. Was charged an extra €30 upon check out and have no idea of why. This seems kinda common with my hotel bookings through Expedia. Same thing happened with a Pariw hotel a couple of months ago.

This was an absolutely beautiful location for a hotel in Agerola. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was due to the fact the rooms had no glasses, water, tea, coffee or kettle. They were very basic for the price.

Spectacular location set in the cliffside overlooking the sea. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beutiful marble interior and wonderful breakfast terrace overlooking the Bay of Naples and Capri. Good, free parking facilities. (rare for this part of the world) Quiet village with pleasant square 2 mins walk from hotel. Overall, I loved the very Italian character of the hotel and the staff. The only warning I have is that driving in this part of Italy is not for the faint hearted. The roads are chaotic, narrow and overcrowded. Parking is scarce and costly.

The views and location were incredible. Panaramic views were amazing from anywhere in the hotel and the balconies. But, the hotel was not exactly as advertised. Service was near non-existent, we did not receive a bottle of wine as promised, and the bar and restaurant that was advertised did not seem to be open. A/C in our room was not very effective. That all said, the views made up for it, and it was a nice point to take the bus to Amalfi.

Very comfortable hotel sitting on top of the Amalfi Coast. The view is amazing. Wedding venue that had events every day that we were there, which was really fun. Small town, with a lively night life. Good breakfast with incredible views whiling dining on the balcony. Rooms are very traditionally decorated. Drive down to the coast takes a little over an hour. Would stay there again.

This property and hotel is a joke. What the photo says is not true. They room was dirty and smoke someone before probably and stains all over the room. Let’s put it this way that we booked for 2. Nights and when we arrived after checking the room we left and never went back. We slept in our car until next day we went and find another hotel.

Rooms are outdated and dirty (hair in the bathroom, dirty towel in the wardrobe, cigarette burns on bed sheets, dirty bath mat, etc). Breakfast was poor, with a limited selection and poor quality (food and coffee). The only good thing this hotel has is the breathtaking view from the rooms. How this hotel is a 4 stars is beyond me.

The view was AMAZING! But that’s the only thing that’s going for this hotel. They smoke indoors, the entire hotel smells like cigarettes. The sheets were stained, the bathroom was dirty. The worst part is that the walls are paper thin, the guy next door was talking until 2 in the morning, I had to sleep with my AirPods on to block out the noise. The breakfast was just okay.

O atendimemento no hotel foi fantástico, as pessoas são adoráveis. A comida é maravilhosa. As acomodacões são perfeitas e com muita higiene. Recomendo fortemente o Gran Hotel Sant'Orsola. A vista panorâmica é de tirar o fôlego.

It was the very last top stop on the bus on top of the highest hill. It took over an hour. Which is very whiny. I got very sick and nauseous from the bus ride up and down. Although it is a great view from this location if you get a balcony view room. The shower was the size of a cruise shower. Extremely small. We did notice mold in the shower which my husband kept cleaning when entered shower. It would come off easy if maids too time to clean. The hotel is popular with wedding events. We noticed fireworks next to our hotel. Later realized there is a castle next door with wedding events as well. The good news is the hotel is in an adorable little town with great restaurants and shopping. Our favorite meal was accross from hotel at Leonardo’s. With an amazing view. Excellent 4 cheese pizza! Great food at great prices. Highly recommend. Bought bus tickets to go below hill to Amalfi in local shop. Tickets any where is only 2 euros Make sure to bring Dramamine if you get motion sickness for bus ride. The best part is you can’t get lost. Amalfi is the last bus and the hotel is the last stop up. Easy to find hotel. Other hotels are not convenient on hill. Nothing around them. This one is best for price. Breakfast has an awesom view . Beware they don’t tell you that you can order eggs any style for free. We didn’t know until we hear another couple ask for scrambled eggs. Otherwise there are boiled eggs available. The plus was a toaster for bread Most hotels didn’t have a toaster

Amazing setting. Amazing views. Clean. Friendly staff. The only thing bothering me was the mold in the bathroom and the shower area.

About 2000 feet above the Amalfi coast Road. Not terribly convenient unless you are driving or renting a car. But the switchback road from seafront up to the hotel is an adventure in itself. The views are stunning and the balcony/decks off of the rooms are bigger than most hotel decks For all of their clientele. Quite luxuriously appointed and immaculately maintained.

The only thing I suggest are Tempur-pedic bed toppers because the beds are hard. Also, better pillows or at least one in the closet that is a Tempur-pedic pillow for persons who are seniors and have neck issues. Everything else was excellent.

Showers are dated and tiny. I’m 5’2 and barely fit. Bed is not comfortable.

Clean, beautiful views, staff was helpful. A few drawbacks : was the distance to get to the ocean. The bus stop is very close so it’s not difficult but it was a high windy road daily. Breakfast was very basic, only had it once. Ac was only turned on & controlled by management (not the room) so you had to go to the main desk and asked for it to be turned on daily. Showers were also extremely small. I am 5’4 and weight about 145 and could barely fit. Other than that, good eating places nearby and people and staff were very friendly and very helpful.

This was our first time at the Amalfi Coast and we really loved this hotel! Friendly family staff, and incredible views off the balconies. Leonardo's just down the street had amazing food, and excellent gelato was a few steps down. There's also a couple of bars nearby. It takes over an hour to get to any of the beaches, so that was the one huge drawback... But you get the amazing view from your room. Beds were comfy enough and the rooms were clean. I wish there was some art on the walls, but it was generally nice to hang out in. AC worked great. It's all about the balconies... and the four cats that hung out at the hotel. If you don't mind renting a car and driving a long ways each day, this is the hotel for you. I would highly suggest some actual fencing to split up the balconies rather than the chainlink ones they have up. There is no privacy when hanging out outside. Parking was super easy. The price for the room was also very affordable. I will probably stay closer to the beach towns next time I come to the Amalfi Coast, but my wife and I really enjoyed our stay here!

We were so happy with our room. The balcony was huge with amazing views. The staff was very nice. The only complaint I had was the bed was not very soft and the pillows were a little flat. Other than that we would highly recommend this hotel. It was beautiful!

Hormis une vue magnifique, cet hôtel, ne mérite ni ces étoiles ni la note qu'il a. Ils organisent des mariages et soirées avec feu d'artifice, ce qui fait que le client de l'hôtel passe au second rang. Le check in a ete expéditif cr ils étaient en pleine réception. A 22h feu d'artifice mais surtout après cela ils faisaient le rangement des tables au dessus de notre tête jusqu'à 23h. Le petit dej était plus que light avec du pain et des viennoiseries de la veille, le dernier jour ild y avait même plus de thé. Vu les évènements, impossible de profiter du restaurant de l'hôtel, que nous avions choisi pr sa présence. Le stationnement le soir est une galère, car les invités du mariage prennent toutes les places , un soir on a attendu 20min pr arriver a nous garer. On a essayé d'échanger avec le gérant et hôtel.com qui ne nous ont proposé aucune solution ni hôtel de replis pour avoir le repos que nous souhaitions

The hotel is beautifully perched on the hillside above the Amalfi Coast, but it is NOT on the coast. It is an hour or more with traffic to get to Positano and more or less the same to get to Amalfi. There is a bus, but it is still very different than described in Expedia. It is so distant in fact that we left a day early because of this. At the time, the manager said he would work with Expedia to get us a refund for the 1 night or even a partial refund for the 1 night, but has since refused. Don't stay here is you want to be on the Amalfi Coast or spend time on the coast.

L’hôtel est très propre et la vue est magnifique. Le personnel est très gentil. Pour la petite histoire ; la femme de ménage avait récupéré par erreur la serviette a cheveux de ma femme ; en expliquant ceci aux hôteliers, ils ont récupéré notre adresse pour nous l’envoyer dès qu’ils l’a récupéreraient. Sur la route du retour vers Naples, nous avons été dépassé par une voiture qui s’est ensuite mise sur le côté, et nous avons vu quelqu’un de l’hôtel nous demander de le suivre jusqu’à la blanchisserie pour récupérer cette serviette. Nous avons été très agréablement surpris par ce geste très gentil. Nous recommandons fortement cet hôtel.

The view is majestic from the balcony. It’s a bit of an older hotel. The main sticking points is that the manager of the hotel tried selling me used shirts and pants, and he was really pushy and got upset when I said no. He also charged me an additional city tax that was already included in the initial payment through Expedia. Beautiful view, but honestly I felt uneasy because of the staff member.

This is a very good, quiet, relaxing hotel and the stuff makes you feel at home !!!! It’s home away from home ! Kudos to Michele who is the best in customer service !!!! We will come back for sure !!!!!!

Everything was going to be fine and all good unless bell boy keeps asking me a tip again and again and again. I gave him a tip when I arrived which i dont need to, and stayed a night and left hotel , and he asked me again for a tip when im move out of the restaurant. And i did not give to him . Cuz i did not get any services and also i do not need to! So his face just turned to mean face and spoke something in his language to us. This made us feel really really bad! But the guy in front desk was so kind and nice.

Lovely hotel! The rooms facing the ocean have incredible views! Nice big rooms, friendly staff. The road up to Agerola is a little stressful if you are not used to the coastal roads, but you will get over it!

It was a well kept 95 year old hotel on top of a mountain giving a breathtaking view of the Amalfi coast. Nestled in the region of Agerola, it was a very peaceful area. There are lots of little local shops at walking distance from the hotel (pasticceria, enoteca, gelateria mini markets and local producers of cheeses and salumi. The staff was very friendly. The only downside would be the hardness of the mattress. Also, keep in mind that it's a 40 min drive up and down to go towards Napoli or Amalfi. We definitely recommend you stay for a great experience!

Beautiful views. A little diifcult to get to a beach. 1 hour+ on a bus. Not a lot of sandy beaches to easily go to.

A family-owned, family-run amazing Wes Anderson style hotel on a priceless cliff. Cannot believe how easy is it to take one shuttle to Amalfi, safely - no parking hassles, low stress, shuttles on the hour. Amalfi is mobbed. Also 3 miles from the Hike of the Gods entrance, above Positano. A quiet gem. Dated but in the most charming way. Wish I could retire here. Quiet, honored, off the map gem.

Excellent View. Nice Rooms and Staff. Quiet Location. Bus Available to Amalfi from near by hotel ( 5 min walk) which is 45 min away.

Breathtaking views and great hotel, but it’s a little far from Positano or Amalfi!

I want to return with all my daughters. Great staff so friendly and helpful. The hotel is a forty minute bus ride to Amalfi but is so so worth it. We loved the bus system the experience was amazing and breathtaking. The breakfast area views are the best! The older gentleman that wears his ties different than in the US is so genuine. Hope to return soon!

I stayed here for a week, originally 4 days but I ended up extending my stay because it was so convenient to get to Amalfi by bus. It’s a little bit of the country side, but the town is small and filled with friends and family so it’s definitely safe. I’d come back as late as 11pm on the bus and felt comfortable walking to my hotel. The views are also AMAZING, I couldn’t get over it!

Gorgeous view of the ocean from the top of the cliff, one of a kind, like you staying where the sky meets the sea. Great food a la carte. Good location to catch a bus to Amalfi or Naples. Was not crazy about the all inclusive breakfast. Would be nice to see some freshly squeezed orange or lemon juice and more fruits and vegetables as part of it.

We recently spent three unforgettable days at the Grand Hotel Sant’Orsola and it truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel is set in the calmest and most serene location, with breathtaking views that will stay with us forever. Our room came with a beautiful terrace overlooking the endless blue sea, with Capri Island and the dramatic cliffs visible in the distance — a view that felt like pure magic. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready to help and make us feel welcome. Even though the hotel was hosting wedding events during our stay, the hospitality never faltered. Every detail was handled with care, from the amazing dinner menus to the wonderful wine selections. It was a perfect blend of relaxation, elegance, and warmth. Our stay at the Grand Hotel Sant’Orsola was truly memorable, and we cannot wait to return.

Great home base for the Amalfi Coast with awesome views. We wish the food at the actual hotel was better, but there's plenty of good options within walking distance.

One of the best stays of our entire Italian trip with my wife. We booked the room with the incredible sea view and large balcony—a breathtaking view honestly and it definitely looks even better in real life than in the pictures. The staff were very friendly and communication was fairly easy in English. Luckily, the hotel was hosting a wedding that day, so we had the honor of witnessing an Italian wedding! One of our highlights was the broadly selected breakfast we had—with a sea view at the restaurant as well. Omelet, fresh bread (!!), filled croissants, yogurts, mixed fresh fruit and one of the nicest cappuccinos I had in Italy—this hotel has it all. The car drive up and down the hill to Amalfi took about half an hour and was fun, but be cautious; the street is quite narrow and only for experienced drivers. Would definitely consider this hotel again; thank you!

Reception was not super friendly upon arrival. Hotel itself is very dated. The one thing that made up for the sad looking room was the spectacular view of the coast from our balcony. The breakfast was very basic…bread, cold cuts, cheese etc. No hot breakfast option and coffee was disappointing. Overall an average stay!

Great views, extremely friendly staff. In a very good location easy to walk to the town center and restaurants. The building is a bit old and rooms need some level of renovation. Breakfast can be a bit better, at least some tomatoes or olives and cheese vs all sweet and carbonhydrates.

Older property, breakfast was poor and not a lot of staff. Not terrible but wouldn’t stay here again if I am in the area or if there weren’t other options.
