Charming, comfortable and very functional apartment. Walking distance to lots of great restaurants and bars. Street parking was easy and convenient with the purchase of a day pass. I greatly appreciated Earl’s communication.

We loved the location. The bedrooms were very nice. Could use a better couch and chair. Very uncomfortable. Beautifully decorated and well equipped. Lots of stairs so not for heavy suitcases!!

Stayed at HarborGate for 2 nights at the end of August. The apartment was great and exceptionally well appointed with a very well equipped kitchen. The apartment is conveniently located to restaurants and bars as well. One one thing I didn't realize is there isn't an elevator and my apartment was on the 3rd floor so is something to note if you're travelling with someone with mobility issues.

Stayed at HarborGate for 2 nights at the end of August. The apartment was great and exceptionally well appointed with a very well equipped kitchen. The apartment is conveniently located to restaurants and bars as well. I liked that there was parking conveniently available outside the property and that it was easy to walk to places in St. John's. Accommodation was clean, spacious and equipped for self-catering. It was also quiet at night. Communication replies were prompt from Earl. My stay was stress free, comfortable and affordable (booked 6 months ahead of stay).

The pictures are absolutely accurate. The condo is in the heart of downtown St John’s within short walking to Pubs, restaurants, convention center and arena. The condo itself was EXCELLENT. On the third floor, it was quiet. The stairs at Re not difficult and straight up. The lock box for keys is at the door, so I left them there as the condo door had a digital lock. The bed was very comfortable, as was the bedding. The towels were excellent on quality and quantity. The host had an excellent welcome letter, with detailed self checkin. An excellent choice that I will use with every visit to St John’s. I parked on the street in front of condo all night with no issues. Free parking after 6pm

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Earl was a great communicator. He provided us places to check out, suggestions for food, and attractions to see. Property itself is beautiful. I was really happy with the unit. It was very cute and quite comfortable. The host was very responsive, and it was in a great location. Check in was also super easy and they even offered me early check-in without me even asking for it. Unfortunately, i wasn't able to get on the wifi in my 3rd floor unit but it wasn't an issue for me as I have lots of data. I did notice some cracks in the tiles and general wear and tear issues but they were minor and did not impact the overall appearance or the comfort of the unit.

This place looks like it was renovated yesterday. Laminate wood floors, new appliances, spotless bathroom and elsewhere. My only caution to others is to make very sure you have the correct address. I booked through Expedia a precise address, but the owner has several places and he put me in another less convenient location. Make sure you know where you are staying!

The condo on Harbour St was in excellent condition and exyremely clean. Comfortable beds and pillow. Communication with Earl was great. Would highly recommend. The comment I would make, is the pictures show both units. One must be located on Water Street and the other on Harbour Street. Not to sure. The unit we reserved showed pictures that were not where we stayed. Having said that, the unit was amazing, very clean and totally perfect for 2 people.

The pictures are absolutely accurate. The condo is in the heart of downtown St John’s within short walking to Pubs, restaurants, convention center and arena. The condo itself was EXCELLENT. On the third floor, it was quiet. The stairs at Re not difficult and straight up. The lock box for keys is at the door, so I left them there as the condo door had a digital lock. The bed was very comfortable, as was the bedding. The towels were excellent on quality and quantity. The host had an excellent welcome letter, with detailed self checkin. An excellent choice that I will use with every visit to St John’s. I parked on the street in front of condo all night with no issues. Free parking after 6pm

I parked my car a block away from the building and had to haul my luggage through a somewhat sketchy alleyway. This was quite inconvenient. Furthermore, I was surprised to find that there was no prior indication of the 40 steps I needed to climb in order to access the unit. This lack of information could pose difficulties for guests with mobility issues. I also felt that the building's overall security left much to be desired. The entrance did not seem secure enough to ensure the safety of residents or their belongings, which is definitely a critical factor for potential renters. Additionally, the image that was provided did not accurately represent the unit; it looked quite different in person, making me feel misled. Finally, I noticed some panhandling happening right outside the door, which could deter prospective guests or residents concerned about safety and comfort.

This is a great accommodation for a family. Clean, large and ideally located. The kitchen is very well equipped as are the bathrooms and laundry room. Separate primary bedroom covering the entire second floor. Views of the inlet from the main floor living space and primary bedroom also overlook the harbour where various ships dock. Within an easy walking distance to the Summer Pedestrian Walk and George Street
