I paid more for a dog-free room that was available but it still smelled like dogs. I am sensitive to allergens and had to take medicine to sleep there without an asthma attack. It also smelled like the vets office, they must use the same cleaner. Such a bummer because otherwise this place would be a top hotel imo. I think they probably launder all the linens together because the bed smelled like animals had slept there. I really don’t see the point of having a dog-free room if they are going to use linens that dogs sleep on across all rooms. I get wanting to cater to pet owners but if you’re listing a dog-free room at a higher price then make sure it’s like…. All dog free. About 20% of the population has pet allergies, it’s not like I’m the only person that struggles with this. Finding a hotel that doesn’t make me physically sick is so annoying.
