We liked it so much we stayed a extra night. The Continental breakfast was not that good but everything else was great.

The location near the Excursion Trail-we took the Potomac Eagle- was perfect. This is a standard, no frills hotel that exactly as advertised. There is a CVS, good restaurant, grocery store and even a Good Will in the same parking lot area (adjacent to the property). The hotel was very quiet at night which was nice. Breakfast was very sparse. Microwaved sandwiches and individually wrapped pastries. However, the staff was very friendly. This is an older facility (still has keys with punch holes in them) that has had some noticeable upgrades to the lobby. We are not country folks but the quaintness and charm of the staff made it a pleasurable stay.
