I recently had to transit through Sydney and this was a wonderful option. Easy walking distance from the domestic terminals (not sure about International). I found the facilities were great and the room quiet & comfortable

Our stay at the Sunny Rooms verified to us the high rating this establishment has received. The rooms have character; the hosts you accommodating, efficient and friendly. There is a kitchen and comfortable lounge with beautiful decorations. It is a short walk to the nearest station and airport. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you hosts!

Super quiet and clean, easy check in and Marcus the butler was very helpful and welcoming! Walkable distance to many coffee shops and convenience stores open late. Only 5 minutes from the airport. Street parking was super easy!

I booked this accommodation for myself and my partner for 12 nights. It’s a lovely guesthouse. The property is just as described. We stayed in room 4 which had a balcony. The beds are big and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner included. The rooms have air con, tv, fridge and kettle. Tea and coffee sachets are also provided. The kitchen is fully equipped. The house is very very clean and the hosts are great and very accommodating. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they will help you with anything you need. The property is in a good location, it’s within walking distance to the bus stops and train station, supermarket, restaurant, very close to the airport 2 stops by train. There is street parking but it’s limited. There are rooms both upstairs and downstairs, but the house is very quiet we didn’t have any issues with noise. The property is close to the airport so you might hear some planes at times but nothing they disturbed us. Overall I will definitely recommend this property to friends and family. Thank you Sunny had a great stay.

Everyone there is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are wonderful and the common areas are cosy and welcoming. The staff even offered to drive us to the airport! I will definitely be going back to Sunny Rooms on my next trip to Sydney. 💯/💯 😁😁😁

The ambience on entering was one of quiet opulence sans ostentation. Other guests were helpful and my early arrival had one making coffee for with a chat on the sunny verandah. My room(with ensuite) was roomy, exceedingly comfortable and I was able to sign into my NETFLIX stream. Overall infinity of stars. J Burke

This was fine for one night before we got on an early morning flight. Super close to the airport. But I would not want to spend all of my holiday here, at least in the room we were in, since it was below ground and had a well window only.

Very easy to get to. A very convenient spot close to the airport. No problem getting to the city either. Everything you need for a stay close to the airport. Exceptionally nice person to meet us on day 1, which was Marcus. Very helpful and an all round lovely person. A great asset to this accommodation. The cleaner was very sweet too. Would definitely stay again and yes I would totally recommend. The communication between myself and the owner was excellent both before and during the stay - very responsive.

the place was as-advertised. we did not have the opportunity to meet sunny (alas!). we met another person living there, marcus, who looked after us. what a sweetheart he was-is! he collected us from and delivered us to the airport - super-convenient! and he's very knowledgeable about the area. my husband and i would stay there in the future most happily.

Clean and tidy. Easy check in. Can catch bus from airport to Mascot station then walk to accom. Being close to airport can hear planes but didn’t bother me personally - if light sleeper bring ear plugs.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and access is easy with a door code emailed before arrival. Just note there is no front desk and no elevator. Our room was in the basement, so we had to carry our suitcases down a flight of stairs. The room was clean but basic, and the bathroom was clean and well stocked with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. There’s also a shared kitchen available. Only a few restaurants are within walking distance; we ended up walking to the Ibis Sydney Airport for dinner. If you need more amenities or an on‑site restaurant, Ibis might be a better fit, though it costs a bit more. Overall, a good place for a one‑night stay before or after a flight.
