Modern Apartment - Southbank

Great time

It was a convenient location and affordable, but not set up very comfortably for 6 adults.

The host was very unresponsive. We stayed at the property for 2 weeks. On average the host would reply after 4-5 hours. Whenever we tried to call they would not answer and ask us to text. We even had problems with the heating in the house and they only replied to us 2 days after chasing them, which was too late since we were leaving the next day. Out of the 3 lifts in this 40 floor building 1 was not working and we had to wait for about 20-30 mins each day to just get out of the building. The lift was out of service 10 days before we could check in, but we were not informed about it by the host. They were not even aware until we checked in and let them know. Worst experience I have had at a homestay and would definitely not recommend staying here.

We had a great visit to Melbourne staying in this Southbank apartment. The apartment is in a good location, very clean and the photos give an accurate snapshot. Dave was great with all communication.
