The inn is a short, pleasant walk from the hotel and all the amenities at the Mount Washington hotel are available to persons staying at the Inn. Everything is well maintained and the staff are friendly.

Stunning location! We really enjoyed staying at the Arms, you get all of the access and benefits as guests staying at the larger (and more expensive) Mt Washington Hotel. We ate supper at Stickney’s at the main hotel, and Fabyan’s Station, and had breakfast at the Arms Inn. A shuttle bus is available to take you between locations. They had a lot of activities available. Highly recommended!

The Bretton Arms Inn is downhill from the Hotel Mount Washington. We could use all of the facilities (pools and fitness center as well as the many restaurants and the shuttle bus to the main hotel and to the ski area) at the Hotel Mount Washington. Our room rate included a continental breakfast buffet with a number of healthy options parking was close by.

There’s no room service available at the Inn so after 4 days the trash was overflowing. We also ran out of toilet paper. Also, breakfast used to be so much better. They reduced the offerings of the continental breakfast and started offering items a la carte which is all fine but for the price, I’d expect at least some basic bread and butter at the buffet. It was a bit disappointing this time.

Less expensive than the mount Washington resort but shares all the amenities. Wonderful staff. Nice included continental breakfast. Easy access to the Mount Washington resort. We do suspect our room may have been haunted but could have just been squirrels on the roof but then again.

Great proximity to Bretton Woods. Plus they have a shuttle that runs on a continuous loop to skiing and the Mt Washington Omni. Charming and convenient.

Excellent stay. Service was excellent and everyone working there are very nice. The only things that need improvement are: Bathroom floor was like stepping on a Ice Glacier. No or little heat in the bathroom. Whirlpool at Main Hotel jets not powerful enough. Restaurant space on a Monday night was very limited as well as choices to dine.

Beautiful rooms, great breakfast. Be sure to book early for dinner at the restaurant, as they get full, especially for earlier time slots. (And are closed Mondays and Tuesdays). It was nice to have access to the amenities of the resort and the Mount Washington Hotel nearby, like the swimming pool.

My family and I were very disappointed with this stay. The website description leads you to believe there is a strong affiliation with the main Omni property and its amenities. There is no room service, valet parking or bellhop and no management or security present late night or early morning. Property is badly in need of some love. Carpet, paint and caulking would go a long way. The two overall rating as opposed to zero is for the friendly folks we did interact with. The gentleman who checked us in and addressed our broken fridge issue was very friendly and apologetic and the manager of the Main dining hall at the Omni who allowed us to put in a to go order when we got the run around for an hour on room service was very sweet and apologetic as well.

This property exceeded all of my already high expectations. The entire staff was top notch, very friendly and professional. The historic room was wonderful, all the modern amenities but still maintained the historic charm. The free breakfast was the highlight of the day, great food, great staff, nice relaxing breakfast. We enjoyed the amenities at the main hotel all while paying 1/4 the price. We’d happily return.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with dining recommendations and property amenities, and the overall grounds and building aesthetics were quite nice (around an 8/10). Unfortunately, the room itself left a lot to be desired. While the sheets were clean, the mattress was uncomfortable with a lot of bounce and springs. The carpet did not appear fully vacuumed, and the shower made a loud squealing noise when in use. The room also had a musty odor, with lingering hints of smoke, which was disappointing. In addition, there was no central air—only a window unit—which made the room feel warm and stuffy. Overall, while the staff and property exterior were great, the condition of the room was more in line with a 4/10 compared to the much higher ratings I had seen prior to booking. If you’re looking for a better room experience in the area, I’d recommend choosing the Presidential Wing of the main Omni Hotel, which offers more of a true 3–4 star sleeping experience.

The inn is extremely dated and obviously short staffed, out room was big but every piece of furniture was broken scratched, lamps were crooked, carpet stained, the sofa and chairs extremely stained and dirt everywhere !! The carpet looked so unclean we never took our outside shoes off . The bathroom had stains on walls and mold in corners . And on top of it we had barely any heat , we had to ask for electric heaters , the first night was so cold we woke up it was 55 F . If the location was not perfect we would have never stayed in this inn . The continental breakfast only had pastries some fruits and oat meal , the rest was $ , the dinner was good but it was outrageously expensive

This is a lovely old inn very close to Mount Washington. Although the building is old, it’s well maintained. The room was large and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, the staff was friendly. The restaurant was a little pricey but the food was excellent and the staff very accommodating. The Bretton Arms shares the facilities of the Omni Mount Washington, just a short walk away on a path. The Omni complex is what you would expect from a resort hotel. The grounds are beautiful. It’s close to the Mount Washington cog railway. The scenery is stunning.

Couldn't eat on property without reservations. Didn't get drink voucher. Unclear on whether breakfast was included. No valet available at check in. You could hear people in hall, outside and someone's tv all night. Sloped ceiling so you had to duck to look out window and air window unit kept room hot all night. Would not stay here again.

Great property next to the big hotel. Super quiet, super friendly front desk personnel. The restaurant is really good and the price is excellent. The grounds are something else, specially the path between this hotel and main one. On the negative perhaps the AC could be updated for a quieter split, it would wake you up every times the compressor kicks in.

The room was fine, but the beds provided no support. The mini-fridge was a joke - I didn't know it was broken until too late. I specifically wanted an fridge due to lack of healthy food in the area.

We had a great experience at Bretton Arms. The hotel was great, rooms spacious and beautiful, attention was great, its a very nice, quiet family oriented. Im glad we tried it!

For 500$ per night it was pretty bad experience, first off my room wasn’t even ready until after the checkin time. Shuttle took forever when we wanted to go to Gondola. No one answers the phone at the front desk. Room was pretty dinged up, beds were old spring beds which went down as we sat or slept. Great property next to the big hotel. Super quiet, super friendly front desk personnel. The restaurant is really good and the price is excellent. The grounds are something else, specially the path between this hotel and main one. On the negative perhaps the AC could be updated for a quieter split, it would wake you up every times the compressor kicks in.

I have stayed at the mount washington many times and wanted to share it with my friends they loved it.the only negative is the hotel was hosting a company event and closed the whole porch facing the mountain (which is why you go)this was disappointing. Also slowly removing the history from the hotel the original dining chairs,and no more prohibition punch served in tea cups(the bartender looked at me as if I was crazy lol)this is a beautiful hotel and would hate it to become just another cookie cutter hotel.That being said the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.

The inn is a short, pleasant walk from the hotel and all the amenities at the Mount Washington hotel are available to persons staying at the Inn. Everything is well maintained and the staff are friendly.

Stunning location! We really enjoyed staying at the Arms, you get all of the access and benefits as guests staying at the larger (and more expensive) Mt Washington Hotel. We ate supper at Stickney’s at the main hotel, and Fabyan’s Station, and had breakfast at the Arms Inn. A shuttle bus is available to take you between locations. They had a lot of activities available. Highly recommended!

The Bretton Arms Inn is downhill from the Hotel Mount Washington. We could use all of the facilities (pools and fitness center as well as the many restaurants and the shuttle bus to the main hotel and to the ski area) at the Hotel Mount Washington. Our room rate included a continental breakfast buffet with a number of healthy options parking was close by.

Great proximity to Bretton Woods. Plus they have a shuttle that runs on a continuous loop to skiing and the Mt Washington Omni. Charming and convenient.

There’s no room service available at the Inn so after 4 days the trash was overflowing. We also ran out of toilet paper. Also, breakfast used to be so much better. They reduced the offerings of the continental breakfast and started offering items a la carte which is all fine but for the price, I’d expect at least some basic bread and butter at the buffet. It was a bit disappointing this time.

The property is small and quaint. Rooms are very pleasant and our room had 2 queen beds so it was quite large. There is an elevator. There is dining and a small bar. My issue was pricing. A mixed drink was $14.00 and a steak was $72.00. Breakfast was good and was included in our room rate. Scenery was magnificent. Staff was helpful and friendly. This is our second visit and will certainly go again.

Beautiful hotel and resort. Very comfortable room. Outstanding “continental breakfast “ which was plentiful and more than ordinary offerings. Staff and service personnel were extraordinarily ingratiating and helpful. Special shoutout to Dennis and Leah. Strongly recommend this resort and the entire facility. The mountains and weather are ideal for vacation for all ages.

The inn is extremely dated and obviously short staffed, out room was big but every piece of furniture was broken scratched, lamps were crooked, carpet stained, the sofa and chairs extremely stained and dirt everywhere !! The carpet looked so unclean we never took our outside shoes off . The bathroom had stains on walls and mold in corners . And on top of it we had barely any heat , we had to ask for electric heaters , the first night was so cold we woke up it was 55 F . If the location was not perfect we would have never stayed in this inn . The continental breakfast only had pastries some fruits and oat meal , the rest was $ , the dinner was good but it was outrageously expensive

Beautiful rooms, great breakfast. Be sure to book early for dinner at the restaurant, as they get full, especially for earlier time slots. (And are closed Mondays and Tuesdays). It was nice to have access to the amenities of the resort and the Mount Washington Hotel nearby, like the swimming pool.

The first thing that springs to mind is how much the staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and that our time would feel special. The room was great, and the included breakfast and our dinner at the restaurant were exceptional. Convenience to the xc skiing and the pool/hottub amenities was great!

Very disappointing. AT this price point would have expected much better service. 20$ to park is ridiculous when there are big open spaces. No coffee available in the morning??? Come on. No one to help with luggage, dirty dishes at end of hallway for over 24 hours. Would never waste money on this again. Spent the night before in Jackson for 1/4 the price and had much better service and amenities.
