Stayed 2 nights at the lodge. Being dog friendly was a major plus! We had 3 with us so there was a small extra charge. Owner was very cool and nice to chat with about the area. Beds were comfy, but tv was a little hard to navigate (streaming tv) with very few standard satellite channels, but not a big issue. Would definitely stay here again.

This property is geared towards people who have horses, which we don’t. So can’t really comment on the amenities. The lodge was very nice even being old. It looks to have been renovated recently. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The owner was very personable and gave great suggestions for the area. We took our dog and they were very accommodating for him.

Rooms: Despite the simple, rustic appearance of the exterior, the rooms are modern and clean, and the checkout process is more streamlined than the one found at a lot of large chain hotels. Service: The owner is especially personable and helpful. She provided information about the area and even let me borrow one of her books of trails. I will likely stay here again on my next trip to the area.

Really liked the room we had. 3 queen beds and picnic table was an awesome idea. Bathroom was very nice. That being said I think the one queen bed is too close to air conditioner. It was pretty warm even with it down low. When u have 5 or 6 people a few more mirrors and plugs are needed. But all and all was very good

Big South Fork Lodge is a real gem! The Host (Becky) was extremely pleasant and welcoming! We had a room with two (2) queen beds. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom sported soft, large & fluffy towels. The water pressure in the shower was terrific! The bed was very comfortable (best night’s sleep)! On a side note-the Expedia write up indicates there is a restaurant on site - this is INCORRECT. There is a local eatery within a 15 minute drive (Beaty’s), nothing fancy, but very tasty food!

Big South Fork Lodge is a real gem! The Host (Becky) was extremely pleasant and welcoming! We had a room with two (2) queen beds. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom sported soft, large & fluffy towels. The water pressure in the shower was terrific! The bed was very comfortable (best night’s sleep)! On a side note-the Expedia write up indicates there is a restaurant on site - this is INCORRECT. There is a local eatery within a 15 minute drive (Beaty’s), nothing fancy, but very tasty food!

What a gem! The rooms are much larger than expected, the tub was very deep, the sour conditioning worked well. It was serene and extremely clean. They were very generous with soaps, towels, coffee, etc. I would definitely rebook.

What a wonderful night stay I had here! The room was super clean and Becky was so kind and welcoming!! I wish I was staying longer than 1 night ! I ended up running behind schedule on my travels and she so graciously let me check in late. If I’m ever traveling down through this area again, I will definitely stay here!! Thank you Becky for a wonderful nights stay!!

The staff at Big South Fork Lodge went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and memorable! I would highly recommend staying here for it's proximity to several trailheads in the area and the geneous hospitality of the staff.

The Lodge is very good. Becky (host) is outstanding. Good location within Big South Fork. Recommend to stay. You won't be disappointed. Continuous improvements opportunities noted below DID NOT impact our stay From continuous improvement perspective, the one observation is that the trash can outside the cabin needed to be emptied. Also, make sure to let Becky know if you need shampoo/conditioner ahead of time. For hygienic reasons, those items are given upon request.

It was right next to the main event, Big South Fork and close to Pickett CCC State Park. We werent there with hirses but chikd met a couple who entertained her for a vit. Very friendly people there

Becky the manager was super friendly and helpful with hiking suggestions. The lodge was very very clean and quiet. Loved the bathroom! We had a microwave, small refrigerator and coffeemaker. The only drawback is the restaurant close by doesn’t open until 11am for breakfast. If you are an early riser, bring your own breakfast stuff.

A friend was camping in Pickett State Park. All cabins we're booked & this was closest place with vacancies. What a hidden gem! Updated, clean, great water pressure. There aren't many places to eat, so pack accordingly. Thank you Becky for a peaceful stay.

Becky was welcoming when we arrived. We had a large uhaul trailor and a large box car. We needed to plug our freezer in that was in the box car. She set us up in one of the rv sites we offered to pay for the RV site but she sold not let us. We also had to extend our stay one night at the last minute as our closing got delayed. She did not hesitate to help us. The room was clean and felt very homey. It has alot of character and rustic ranch gel to it. I can't thank Becky enough for everything. I would recommend her lodge.

She did not hesitate to help us. The room was clean and felt very homey. It has alot of character and rustic ranch gel to it. I can't thank Becky enough for everything. I would recommend her lodge.
