This beautiful historic property made our trip even more memorable! The hotel itself was a fun and unique experience, full of charm and character. Our room was adorable, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I loved that it wasn’t just another ordinary hotel stay, but an experience in itself. If you appreciate historic charm, unique accommodations, and a little something different, this is a wonderful place to stay!

I had the best hotel sleep on a Siebkens hotel bed. Pillows are soft but sturdy. I stayed in the Elm Park Hotel that is on the Register of Historic Places. Early 20th century rooms. Antiques are the throughput room and hallways. Grab and Go Breakfast had freshly made yogurt, fresh granola and lemon poppy seed mini loaves. Nice to walk to Stop and Go Bar and Grill. Good food and drinks in comfy bar.

I try to stay here whenever I’m in town for races at Road America. Has that old style “resort” feel but everything is top notch. Love access to the beach and dock!

Even though most amenities and shops in town were closed, we did enjoy our stay. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. More than one towel would be appreciated as well. It would have been nice to have a heads up on the limited onsite options before our arrival.

I really wanted to love this outing. Staff were great at check in. But bathroom was from hell. Shower knob turned around and around 360 degrees, so never sure if dry hit or cold and once couldn’t shut it off, took five minutes playing with it. Toilet barely flushed, you had to stand there and hold the lever down until a weak twirl slowly built to flush out contents. Shampoo pump did not work (which demonstrated maids did not check before signing off for moving into room). Lesson - I should have gone to front desk and asked for new room, I’m just not that kind of person. I just won’t be back. (Learn from my lesson and go ask for that new room!)
