Lovely clean room on top floor. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. Reception staff friendly and efficient and liked the free access to cold filtered water in the Reception area to save asking at the bar. Lifts a bit fiddly as seem to need to swipe card if stopping at multiple floors but security good that you do need a card to access lifts and the Reception after 10pm. Comfy bed but room was a bit cold and thermostat doesnt allow you to change temperature there wasn't any extra blankets to use and didn't want to go down to Reception at 2am but it is winter. Bar area and coffee shop bit nice. Otherwise a great stay and would stay again.

Staff were exceptional, pleasant, helpful and went over and above to assist with a number of issues I had during our short stay. Breakfast good, plenty of choice. Quirky design. Food available in restaurant as well.

We stayed at the Ibis Styles Glasgow Central. The hotel was conveniently located with a Q-Park just across the street, offering a set price for 24-hour parking with unlimited in-and-out access. There’s also street parking available which was super handy. At the time of our visit, the city allowed free overnight parking from 18:00 to 8:00, though there’s talk that this might change in the future. The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The room key provides access only to the floor your room is on, which I personally appreciated for added security. We were assigned to a room on the 4th floor, facing the road. Although the hotel is situated just off the main road, it was surprisingly quiet, so we had a peaceful stay. A nice feature in the room was a hanging bar across the shower, perfect for drying clothes – a thoughtful touch! We stayed for two nights and opted out of the daily room cleaning service, and as a thank-you, we received a voucher for one free beverage of our choice at the lobby bar or coffee shop, which was a lovely gesture. There were two of us but I didn't want to be greedy to ask for two drinks hahaha. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend the Ibis Styles Glasgow Central for its convenience, friendly staff, and thoughtful touches.

hotel was central, had a nice bar with good decor/vibe, room was clean and great for two night weekend stay. complimentary Coffee at breakfast was same as packets available in rooms, but thry have a desl with sn zitalisn place next door so take advantage of that if you havent booked a breakfast

Hotel are was clean staff were lovely but the room wasn't cleaned properly unfortunately. Food still on floor and some kind of kebab sauce spilled on carpet. Wasn't happy with that. But otherwise the rest was good

Room was clean enough with the usual budget hotel. The bed fairly comfortable, if a little firm. Decor beginning to tire a little, the wall was marked near the door and the TV remote control was held together by sellotape. Very little noise from within the hotel and only a little from the street below. Breakfast wasn’t great, buffet style. The hot items had clearly been sitting for a long time and had become tough and very greasy. Perhaps hot items could be cooked to order. A decent variety of cold items available as an alternative but no dairy free options.

Definitely not exceptional or good . Warning : they don’t let u check in even a minute before . Not clean rooms ! Carpet wasn’t vacuumed . Full with crumbs n human hair . Both twin beds were sloppy in the middle ! Extremely uncomfortable beds . No changing of bed sheets in my three days stay or vacum until requested No microwave on the premises for guests . Breakfast was traditional not exceptional! It’s not free but can include with a payment . Unstable wifi . I didn’t understand what part was my VIP access through out my stay 🤔.

This rating could easily be a five except that the AC in our room was not working and the cleaning staff would open the drapes, allowing sunshine to pour in and heat the room. We were moved to a smaller room with sort of functioning AC, but even so, it wasnt great. The theme of this hotel is amazing, as is the decor and the bar/lounge area. However, the AC needs to be upgraded and the carpets in the rooms were quite dirty. The rooms also need mini fridges.

I really like this place. Only issue is shower has poor water pressure and temp is inconsistent, very now and then you get a one second scalding. Exact same issue last time I stayed there. Other than that it’s excellent!

The room, a room equipped for the disabled, was pitch black and more reminiscent of a cellar vault. There was only a small frosted window in the upper third of the wall. Furthermore, the window could not be opened. Never again!

Everything you’d expect for a 3 star hotel. Nothing extra or over the top, the water in the shower seemed to cycle between a second of hot and cold every few minutes, and the bed wasn’t very soft - but can’t beat the location for access to Central Station and it had everything you need for an affordable and convenient stay in Glasgow. Staff were friendly and good spread for breakfast.

Nice room if a little compact for a double but good bathroom. My room was at the back of the building so quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Very handy location for city centre, train station and bus to and from the airport.

Good location and nice decor. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The only issue was the size of the room. It was much too small to accommodate 3 adults. With the sofa bed set up, there was barely room to move, store luggage,etc. Fine for 1, or maybe 2 people maximum. It wasn't cheap, as there were a couple of large events in town on the weekend we stayed, and most of the hotel facilities were fine, but very basic and far too cramped for 3 adults.

Check in was worst I have experienced in my business travel life. Hotel had no record of my booking, staff member checking me in was not at all apologetic, simply stated hotel was experiencing system problems. At one point it was suggested I was at wrong Ibis Glasgow hotel. I had been up since 5am & simply wanted to get to my room.

The hotel is well located just a few minutes walk from Glasgow Central Station and the town centre. The property is clean, well maintained and modern, and the staff friendly and helpful. The staff were all lovely. The only reason I didn't give 5 Stars throughout was the food supply at breakfast. the food itself was nice but when something hot ran out there was a 15 minute wait for it to be replenished. A little more planning in the kitchen is required.

A great place to stay in Glasgow. Liked the small touches of lovely towels and nice glassware in the room. Breakfast could improve, quantity and selection ok but quality particularly the scrambled eggs dreadful, I suspect powdered eggs used. My husband enjoyed the black pudding (yuk).

Big hotel with plenty of rooms, well located in Glasgow. Many things, restaurants, busy streets, Glasgow Central etc. are within walking distance, just a few minutes away. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Since the hotel has many rooms, it can get loud at night when other guests are coming back to their rooms. The breakfast buffet is fine and has a brought choice, though it takes some time until some empty bowls or baskets are refilled. Appart from that, it's a convenient place to stay for one or two nights.

Room was nice but a tad small Breakfast was ok. Should be more fruits and more choice. The food in the restaurant was awful. Absolutely worse burger ever and the staff were not at all friendly. The girl at check in was nice and helpful.

Room was overall very clean and comfortable. The shower runner(plastic strip on bottom of shower door), was red with mould, needs replaced and its a cheap fix. That's the only criticism of cleanliness. The actual lock on the door didn't work, the door wouldn't push far enough forward for the lock to catch its slot on the frame. We relied instead on the privacy 'snib'. We did feel safe though and did intend to mention it at checkout but no one at reception and we were in a hurry. Had food in the cafe/bar, it was good and nice atmosphere.

The hotel is just 10 minutes from Central Station. A straight walk down Waterloo Road. For me check in was confusing. It’s the top of an old piano just before the bar. I was on the 1st Floor, but it was really quiet. The room…. The bed is either too big or the room (around the bed) too small. So cramped. I had a support pillar which severely restricted movement on one side. On the other side were (kitchen) cupboards six foot off the ground. You would easily knock your head if a six foot plus person. You had to limbo over the bed to put anything in the cupboards. The bathroom however was spacious and had a good shower, but the sink was so high. The corridor was the most spacious thing about the room. TV worked a treat. Kettle with tea and coffee. Lights - any of them - seem to flicker at times. It was an OK stay, but I wish I had returned to the Social Hub, the other side of Central Station. It was lovely. Hey ho, live and learn.
