Ligging hotel is super. Ook lekker zelfgemaakte granola en koekjes. Voor fietsers is het hotel niet aan te raden. Ze hebben geen plek om de fietsen veilig te stallen. Gelukkig was de eigenaar zo vriendelijk om ons een zwaar goed slot te geven. Toch voelt het vervelend om onze dure racefietsen zo aan de straat te zetten. De service was prima en de eigenaren erg vriendelijk. De douche heeft een opknap beurt nodig. Water stroomt niet weg en veel water verlies door lekkende slang. Al met al iets te hoge prijs gezien de kwaliteit.

We enjoyed a fabulous couple of days at Herriot's. Our room had beautiful views and was very comfortable and clean, breakfast 10/10. Highly recommended.

Liz and Glenn operate an amazing property, they are extremely helpful and accommodating hosts, their breakfasts are outstanding, our room was very clean and comfortable. Herriots is superbly located in the town of Hawes, which itself has plenty of food and beverage outlets as well as being well positioned to access all that the Dales has to offer.

Staff were great, breakfast was lovely. Clean and tidy. Fresh milk left outside the bedroom door every morning. Local knowledge and recommendation for locations and areas worth a visit. The wensleydale pantry recommended for evening meal, good food well priced. Very enjoyable holiday, would recommend this guest house.
