Finding parking was a nightmare, need to tell people you need to be in parking area 3. Beds like concrete, no meals, drinks or breakfast in hotel, have to go to university student restaurant or local convenience store. Hearing on full Wack, pleased fan in room. Only window restrictor was disconnected, so would have been way to jump out of third floor window.

I stay in hotels for work at least three times a month. This was by far the best experience I had in the last year. Immaculately clean room, quiet, free WiFi and parking. Breakfast was included in the price. Very friendly staff, nice surroundings. Town centre in walking distance. Would highly recommend this place.

Nice Hotel. Clean spacious room. No onsiite restaurant but there is the University Cafe across the square where you can get breakfast for £5 with a voucher from the hotel. Decent pub round the corner for meals and drinks too.

The hotel is very clean and has everything you need for a weekend stay. It's very close to Delapre park where the festival was. The only unfortunate thing was the restaurant wasn't open for evening meals but there is a lovely bar restaurant about 2 minutes away. The hotel is bang in the middle of the university campus so feels very secure. The car park is secure, you have to buzz in. As in some reviews the hotel is very warm but it is manageable.

Situated on the university campus so in effect another student block.Rooms are exactly that but more spacious. Very clean and all you need for an overnight stay. Functional as opposed to anything else. Bed not too comfortable but again clean and ok for a night. Parking on the other side of the next block so very short walk away but the campus felt secure. I stay here regularly and am generally very happy but in this occasion the tv was not working on arrival and throughout my 2 night stay did not get fixed. It was a general issue with all tvs in the hotel so this stay was very disappointing.

Car park is a fair way from the Hotel if you are disabled but it seems there are some disabled parking nearby but wasn't told about this?? Hotel staff Great - Unfortunately no TV Reception so couldn't watch tv or have radio on - wasn't informed about this until i rang reception to enquire. Bed Great, Shower good but disabled seat wasn't securely fastened to the wall as the fixings had come out - Good job i didn't want to use this as i would have ended up on the floor!! Good breakfast in the Uni refectory - so some good and some bad bits sorry...

Extremely poor and stressful experience. I was charged 2x, and has been a nightmare to get it refunded (someone called me asking my cards details - what I refused to give - God knows who I would be giving it for, then asked if I could go in person there - 4hrs after I checkout!). I wasted 20 min in the phone with hotels.com early in the morning trying to have it sorted. During the checkout it was said I would have it sorted in the following day and I didn't need to be worried/do anything else. The walls were full of stains, as the the linen. The bed it's really uncomfortable. People yelling in the corridors up to around midnight. Car park it's quite distant. No VIP room upgraded and drinks were mentioned/offered (as part of Hotel.com rewards and promised in the booking). I booked it to sleepover before an important exam in the uni (and save me to drive early morning), but if I knew all the stress, I would sleep in my comfortable bed and be stress free. If you want a comfortable place to stay and no free trouble, book another place.

The rooms were a bit shabby, mattress very uncomfortable, razor cover left by previous inhabitants not picked up by cleaners, shower tray wouldn't drain properly so two of us were unable to shower as the shower would have overspilled. The light in the bathroom is on a sensor with the fan, and it stays on for a long time (i.e. an hour plus) after you have left the room, a tad painful in the middle of the night when someone pops to the loo. Wouldn't stay here again, few bits that unfortunately let the hotel down. Looked far better on photos than it did in person.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Room was nice as expected. Some stains on the carpet in the room. Would suggest the beds are looked at as could feel all the springs in the mattress. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

I’m not usually this negative but I booked this over 6 months in advance and it was a major disappointment. We had prepaid the room and ended up leaving a day early because of the conditions. The kids working there were ok when someone was there. It was not eco friendly—hallway like a sauna wasting energy. Bathroom—lots of mold that could have been clean. Tv didn’t work. Safe didn’t work and the girl at desk just shrugged. I could go on about the little things. Not clearly represented on website that there was no one there after 9 on our checkin day, good thing we got there at 8:30, nothing available in lobby. Basically this was a total price gouge probably because of F1—we paid less per night in London for a much better hotel so left early rather than endure another uncomfortable night. Not a good experience.

Hotel room very good size, mattress a little thin but OK for one night. Main fault with the Hotel is the heating. It was March and outside temps were 9 deg c, yet the room (with no heating on) was unbearable and we had to have the fan on all night.

I love this hotel. Staff and rooms are always great but the rooms are stiflingly hot. Such a waste of energy as well as very uncomfortable to work and sleep in. This has been an ongoing issue in my stays in better weather and I wonder why it has not been addressed.

Woken up early morning as you could hear every single person leaving their rooms, doors slamming etc from down the corridor and this was at a quiet time as the hotel seemed very quiet/ empty upon checking in. No VIP services offered. Basic, but clean and convenient.

No air conditioning, room was unbearable. Wife had to sleep in car, fan was no use just blowing warm air around. Window couldn’t be open more than an inch for security reasons. Room 16 third floor horrendous. Guy on reception said they get many complaints about this. It wasn’t a hot night there is obviously a problem

Great location, out of the way but still easily walkable to town centre. Adequate breakfast and student bar next door. Quiet enough considerimg it is on a uni campus next to the student union. Onlybreal negative was heating controls didn't work properly so was freezing one night and boiling the next.

Extremely poor and stressful experience. I was charged 2x, and has been a nightmare to get it refunded (someone called me asking my cards details - what I refused to give - God knows who I would be giving it for, then asked if I could go in person there - 4hrs after I checkout!). I wasted 20 min in the phone with hotels.com early in the morning trying to have it sorted. During the checkout it was said I would have it sorted in the following day and I didn't need to be worried/do anything else. The walls were full of stains, as the the linen. The bed it's really uncomfortable. People yelling in the corridors up to around midnight. Car park it's quite distant. I stay in hotels for work at least three times a month. This was by far the best experience I had in the last year. Immaculately clean room, quiet, free WiFi and parking. Breakfast was included in the price. Very friendly staff, nice surroundings. Town centre in walking distance. Would highly recommend this place.

Onlybreal negative was heating controls didn't work properly so was freezing one night and boiling the next.

Booked this hotel whilst visiting the University of Northampton open day as it is located right on campus. It wasn't clear where to park and had to be directed by campus security. Nice Hotel. Clean spacious room. No onsiite restaurant but there is the University Cafe across the square where you can get breakfast for £5 with a voucher from the hotel. Decent pub round the corner for meals and drinks too.

The hotel is very clean and has everything you need for a weekend stay. It's very close to Delapre park where the festival was. The only unfortunate thing was the restaurant wasn't open for evening meals but there is a lovely bar restaurant about 2 minutes away. The hotel is bang in the middle of the university campus so feels very secure. The car park is secure, you have to buzz in. As in some reviews the hotel is very warm but it is manageable.
