Thames Rest (MV26), Lower Mill Estate, Cotswolds

Lovely house - only 6 of us but good for 8 adults - hot tub a lovely addition- but noisy at 6am cleaning routine. No washing up bowl or kitchen sink plug and more towel and coat hooks please - otherwise perfect and we would definitely stay again.

We’ve stayed at Lower Mill Estate several times, and this was by far our favourite property. Clean and bright, if a little bland inside, the access to the water is just sublime. We fished, watched and listened to birds and had our canoe moored right outside the house. Absolute heaven - and the rooftop hot tub was a real extra treat. Only downside is that there’s currently still a lot of building work in the surrounding area - but we didn’t find it disturbed us at all.
