Stayed 3 nights

Good points. The house itself is lovely. You have everything you need in the way of crockery, cutlery and utensils etc. All are of high quality. Plenty of fridge space and a seperate drinks fridge.Quality furnishings, bedding and towels. The house itself was very clean with the exceptions I will mention later. The gas barbecue was good with plenty of gas.Not so good points.Plenty of dead insects, cobwebs and dust in the patio door jars, atrium sils etc. These could have been easily cleaned. The stair carpet and bedroom carpets would benefit from a good clean as it is quite grubby in places. There were obvious spills that had been spot cleaned only.Outside The property was really let down by the out side. Decking is very tired and warped in an area where it is hazardous. Patio furniture was fine but the cushion covers very grubby with stains, dead plants in tubs scattered about. Totally uncared for The table under the tree was unusable. It was flaky and unkempt, in need of a sanding and new protection coat. The whole decking area needed sweeping of cobwebs and general outside debris. The whole outside area was very tired looking. Reclining chairs had to be cleaned before they could be used.We knew we couldn't access the lake from the house but could from opposite CW23. This was not the case! It was a mere snicket that had not been maintained and therefore unusable.I contacted house keeping, no answer so left a message. No one returned my call to discuss the issues.
