Casa Frida

I really liked the vibe I was traveling for work and stayed out here an extra day to get to know the area So usually when I travel for work I know I am staying in a hotel that provides toiletries- since this was an added night and this hotel ( casa Frida ) was unplanned I didn’t have the toiletries They do not provide lotion And the shampoo there was not the best They didn’t provide conditioner But they did have body wash They have a cool blue tooth speaker in the shower So totally digging that It was a cool spot to add an extra night after my work travel For reference- we stay at punta morro during the week for our business trip and this hotel ( Frida ) had availability for Saturday But I didn’t take the time to review details and amenities However please note that I did love the Friday vibe and style

Room had plenty of space, shower was great. Not a great view but very large window. Large mirror in front of the bed was a nice extra 😉

Our stay at Casa Frida in Valle de Guadalupe was a mixed experience. The biggest downside is the location. It is very remote with very little nearby. You have to drive at least 5 miles just to find other restaurants or attractions, and it’s about 14 miles to Ensenada if you want more options. The hotel only has one restaurant, and while it was convenient, the food was overpriced for what it offered. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the property itself felt a bit neglected. There were several maintenance issues, including a broken toilet paper holder and a broken shampoo/conditioner dispenser that wasn’t replaced until the following day. The paint in the room didn’t match in several areas, and overall it could use some upkeep. The pillows were very uncomfortable, and the property was extremely dusty, making it difficult to enjoy being outside, so we ended up staying indoors most of the time. We also booked a room advertised with a “valley view,” but our view was mostly trees and a ditch, which was disappointing and not what we expected. On the positive side, the room itself was modern, clean, and nicely designed inside. With a few minor repairs and better maintenance, it could be an excellent place to stay. The hotel was also very quiet, which made for a peaceful atmosphere, although the room had great AC. Overall, I would rate Casa Frida 3 out of 5 stars. It has potential thanks to its friendly staf

We had a great stay at Casa Frida in Valle de Guadalupe. The location is excellent, with beautiful views of the valley and easy access to wineries, restaurants, and local attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was both relaxing and fun. One of the highlights was the rooftop bar. It gave us Vegas-style vibes without breaking the bank. The views were incredible, the drinks were good, and it was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the valley. Both nights we stayed, the nightlife was amazing. The music, atmosphere, and overall energy made the experience memorable while still maintaining the charm and beauty of Valle de Guadalupe. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and everything exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a place that combines great views, a fun atmosphere, and good value, Casa Frida is an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again.
