Serenity Port Douglas

Overall we loved staying at this property. The location was great and the place had everything we needed and more. Having the pool was a bonus as some days were super hot or terribly windy on the beach. There are two things I would say that can be improved. One is the furniture needs a bit of updating. It was pretty minimal and a little worn. Secondly, if you are a light sleeper bring an eye mask and a white noise machine. The design of the house is great for airflow but there are no full walls in the master bedroom so you can hear everything and lack privacy. other than that it was a great place for our family of five adults!

Communication with the property owner was excellent from the outset, clear entry instructions were provided before our stay but we did struggle a little bit to find the property initially. The property is laid out well, comfortable beds, great showers and relatively clean. The air conditioning really welcomed and the splash pool provided a cooling dip during the day. Furnishings are a little tired and the kitchen provides everything you will need. We had a couple of early issues which were resolved promptly. The property is a 2 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to the bustling Marcrossan Street where all the shops, bars and restaurants are situated. We visited Daintree village, Wildlife Habitat, Kuranda and Great Barrier Reef during our stay and really enjoyed our week staying in Port Douglas

Stayed here for a week. The house is very well laid out and furnished. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bed comfortable. Really enjoyed the pool and the outdoor areas too. Will definitely book and stay again.
