Hotel Amoek

Amenities. Room 101 very humid with strong smell. I’ve requested to be changed to a different room but didn’t happen

The hotel is near the beach Boca grande , it’s clean … great service

Good for the price you pay. Don't expect more. Convenient.

Overall, the hotel was very bad. When I arrived, they gave me a room that felt like a bunker — no ventilation at all and terrible humidity. They had to bring in a dehumidifier to try to remove the strong smell. The next day, the air conditioning stopped working and there was no hot water. Because of the smell and the broken AC, they moved me to another room but wanted to charge me an extra30 per night, which I did not accept. Later, they moved me again to a room with a window. I asked for an extra pillow — they didn’t have any. I asked for a blanket — also not available. I had to buy one myself. The night before my reservation ended, the water stopped working in the room. I had to leave very early the next day and the water never came back, so I had to leave without showering. A total disaster.
