Great spot close to York, within walking distance. Parking is a bit of a bind if there is more than one car and is a bit tight to maneuver but doable. The house was great, with all we needed to use all the appliances from the outset with a good family space downstairs, a really good base to explore the area and everything for a family inclusive of a high chair for a toddler. Would happily stay again.

Enjoyed a week in the property - it's handily located just a minute from the regular bus into town, or 15 minutes from the center.Open plan downstairs, with toilet. Upstairs, two bedrooms and bathroom.Nola and Las Iguanas in the centre were excellent, as was the chocolate tour. Jorvik was a bit of a disappointment, although the railway mumeum was well worth a visit.Several items need batteries replacing, the toilet cistern lid upstairs is on back-to-front, there isn't enough of the mis-match of crockery to justify using the dishwasher, upstairs gets really hot and the blinds/curtains don't keep enough light out. Wasn't any sign of dressing gowns or speakers as mentioned in the listing. Parking is also really tight.
