Ferrovia d’Epoca Strathspey Steam Railway e Ruthven Barracks sono due dei più importanti punti di riferimento della zona. Tra le altre attrazioni, spiccano Riserva Naturale Cairngorm Reindeer Herd e Landmark Forest Adventure Park. Anche Highland Wildlife Park e The Lost Labyrinth meritano una visita. The caravan is a good standard it’s clean well equipped and even has a dishwasher and bath which makes it ideal for families. The caravan is showing some signs of its age the owners should replace the rusty bathroom radiators especially as one leaks in the bathroom. The sofa seating is tired but a freshen up etc would help. The park itself has no play park, no ball games allowed the pub onsite wasn’t all that friendly either so really there’s nothing to do for little people but as a base for a holiday it was good it offers excellent value compared to other accommodations in aviemore

This is a very cute and comfy but small trailer in with 90+ other trailers. It is located in a beautiful resort town. We just didn’t understand the terminology of “chalet” and had different expectations. Nice visit. We’d like to come back.

Cozy and comfortable. The main bedroom was small but space was used very efficiently, and that allowed for more space in the living room and dining area, which was great. Also has a remarkably tiny bedroom which provides some much-needed storage space. Includes a great deck which would be fantastic in nice weather. Not great connectivity--would not recommend the very weak paid wi-fi, and my phone signal was wasn't much--but it's adequate for minimal uses. Great location for many nice walks, hosts were great about answering questions.

First impressions were that the outside of the property could do with some tlc. When we entered there was a strong sour smell like a dirty mop or a wet dog. The living seemed comfy enough and we liked the suite. The television was an “experience” in itself. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of clean cutlery and dishes. It had a nice small dining area. The bathroom radiators were very rusty and there was a lot of mould on the silicon sealant around the shower/bath. The showers themselves were very good and powerful. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were clean. The site itself was excellent and the facilities includin* the onsite bar was great.

Parking space next to the accommodation. Our main issue was was with the on line check in as the welcome pack with the form to do this was not attached with the information sent by the hosts. It took a twenty minute phone call to the helpline to rectify this and we were not actually able to complete the registration as obtaining an activation code meant that the page for registration was lost. No signal on TV contacted host who eventually got back to me. They said the wire would be in the back of DVD, it was so we swapped it over, this didn’t fix it. Someone came round and tried to fix it on the 2nd day but couldn’t so said they would come on our last day and try again but when we got back from being out all day it still wasn’t fixed saying no signal. Having a son with autism made it even more difficult as he would normally watch a film whilst relaxing, as there was no tv we had to go out morning till night. WiFi was poor which would’ve been fine but as we had no tv it was only source of entertainment. Family in a nearby chalet had perfect WiFi. Paid £495 for 3 nights with no tv or WiFi, this put a real dampener on our holiday. Place was not as clean as I would’ve expected or have experienced in other self catering. We got one towel each but they were badly smelling of damp especially when wet. I reached out to the host to advise them that I was unhappy and that the chalet was not as advertised due to having no TV and have raised a complaint through VRBO.

Smell in main bathroom that persist. We wonder if there is a blockage on nearby area and should be reported to camp site. Sofa needs good cleaning and it is very uncomfortable. Tv signal disappear when rain. You pay for WiFi which is announced in package,but it does not work which is double injury . Single beds room is claustrophobic. Getting arrival package took 2 hrs of calls. Kitchen extractor filthy with fat and it is concerning if you cook and falls in food. Good location, feels homely but will not repeat .

Our group was two married couples all about 60 years old. We stayed one night and all was exactly as stated in the online description and personal instructions. It was very clean and well stocked with essentials. We would definitely stay there again.

Nicely decorated and not overdone. But this is a chalet and not a hotel and expedia makes it appear llke a proper hotel. It is situated in a caravan park which is fine, but then the cost per night should be much lower. Definitely not good value for money.

Good sized, clean and comfortable caravan in a nice holiday park. Great location for a short walk into Aviemore and for reaching attractions around the area. Well appointed, although I couldn't find a chopping board. The TV didn't work for us but we were only there for 2 night so didn't matter. Contacted hosts for help but they didn't respond in time.

Very clean, and well kept static. Good size main bedroom with ensuite bathroom which was nice. The second bedroom is very small with tiny beds so if you have kids that are teens you may find it too cramped, an adult would certainly struggle to sleep on the beds. It was very clean and obviously cared for. Let down in a few areas which if addressed would making it top notch, main thing was the master bedroom mattress, it's obviously a cheap mattress and not very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped but missing basic items such as a frying spatula, sharp knives ect so some a bit of attention to correct that. Otherwise it's a good option for a stay in Aviemore.and we did enjoy our stay.

Torrential rail for almost all of our stay but the lodge was comfortable and we were well looked after by the hosts who were in regular contact with us.Lovely hot showers/ bath and comfortable beds.

Property was fine but the heating wasn't working when we arrived and it's clear it had not been on for a long time. The water pressure was low on the boiler and I had to sort it myself as the local contact did not know how to. Also the television did not work. Fortunately we only stayed one night.

Paid £495 for 3 nights with no tv or WiFi, this put a real dampener on our holiday. Place was not as clean as I would’ve expected or have experienced in other self catering. We got one towel each but they were badly smelling of damp especially when wet. I reached out to the host to advise them that I was unhappy and that the chalet was not as advertised due to having no TV and have raised a complaint through VRBO.
No signal on TV contacted host who eventually got back to me. They said the wire would be in the back of DVD, it was so we swapped it over, this didn’t fix it. Someone came round and tried to fix it on the 2nd day but couldn’t so said they would come on our last day and try again but when we got back from being out all day it still wasn’t fixed saying no signal. Having a son with autism made it even more difficult as he would normally watch a film whilst relaxing, as there was no tv we had to go out morning till night. WiFi was poor which would’ve been fine but as we had no tv it was only source of entertainment. Family in a nearby chalet had perfect WiFi. Information kit delayed and should be on site. VRBO site difficult to maneuver and we were without heat until the information arrived. The TV and fireplace didn't work. No tea towels or coffee . No shampoo, soaps. 2nd broom only suitable for children -tiny. Only place we had to pay for internet.

Good sized, clean and comfortable caravan in a nice holiday park. Great location for a short walk into Aviemore and for reaching attractions around the area. Well appointed, although I couldn't find a chopping board. The TV didn't work for us but we were only there for 2 night so didn't matter. Contacted hosts for help but they didn't respond in time.

Loved the location of the property, we were really happy with the surrounding area, i had to contact the owner regarding a small issue and they were really quick to get back to us, overall we'll definitely be back .

Torrential rail for almost all of our stay but the lodge was comfortable and we were well looked after by the hosts who were in regular contact with us.Lovely hot showers/ bath and comfortable beds.

Property was fine but the heating wasn't working when we arrived and it's clear it had not been on for a long time. The water pressure was low on the boiler and I had to sort it myself as the local contact did not know how to. Also the television did not work. Fortunately we only stayed one night.

Lovely, super clean property in a tranquil location. Great facilities with everything we needed for our three night stay. Comfortable king sized bed in a decent sized room. Parking space next to the accommodation. Our main issue was was with the on line check in as the welcome pack with the form to do this was not attached with the information sent by the hosts. It took a twenty minute phone call to the helpline to rectify this and we were not actually able to complete the registration as obtaining an activation code meant that the page for registration was lost. A simple laminated booklet in the chalet would have been much easier. We were unable to access the wifi or work the TV even after several attempts at following the instructions. The only other negative was that the towels had a very musty smell and a couple of hand towels in addition to the small bath towels would have been appreciated. This was not a major issue as we were only staying for a few days. All in all we enjoyed our stay and have taken away some nice memories.

Ideal location for local amenities, activities, transport links and hiking. We saw 4 toads, a deer, a frog, various dragonflies, mayflies, butterflies and 2 red squirrels all within the the area near the lodge.Check in was easy.

The caravan is a good standard it’s clean well equipped and even has a dishwasher and bath which makes it ideal for families. The caravan is showing some signs of its age the owners should replace the rusty bathroom radiators especially as one leaks in the bathroom. The sofa seating is tired but a freshen up etc would help. The park itself has no play park, no ball games allowed the pub onsite wasn’t all that friendly either so really there’s nothing to do for little people but as a base for a holiday it was good it offers excellent value compared to other accommodations in aviemore

Living area and kitchen lovely and clean, fresh looking and nicely decorated. 2nd bedroom very small, and beds much narrower than a single bed, my small daughter had a terrible sleep due to banging her head off the wall every time she turned over. There was staining on the sheets in the small bedroom too. Flush on toilet is loose, but a great shower. We tripped over the 1st step outside which was loose, maybe something guests should be warned to look out for.Out of date food left in the freezer. Overall it was fine for one night but we probably wouldnt stay again. 50 cleaning charge very steep for a 1 night stay. No welcome basket of any sort.Communication with the hosts was very good. Great location for exploring local area and a short walk to restaurants.

This was the worst place we stayed on our Scottish road trip. It was clean, however the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The 2nd bedroom was tiny, it advertised 2 x single beds but they are caravan single beds not normal size single beds. There is not even a gap to walk between them. Our daughter was so claustrophobic that she slept on the couch. There is no phone service, and although the listing says it has wifi, you need to pay extra for this and it does not reach the cabin. This would be fine except for the fact that the welcome pack is “online” so while I managed to get details to check in (while we had service elsewhere) , we were unable to check it for the departure instructions, where in the small print you are charged a fifty pound cleaning fee if you dont strip the beds for them. There was also food left in the freezer from previous guests.
