In general I enjoyed the stay very much. The proprietor is lovely and helpful, the lodging itself is dated but full of charm. Breakfast was modest but fresh and very tasty. Being a Francophone helps as the host does not speak English but this is less an issue these days with translation tools available on your mobile device. The location is great - it is only abut a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach and area attractions, Only minor issue I had is an indirect bug relating to the historic character of the place: it is a house built in the 1850s, retaining a good amount of what are presumably a number of its original features. Part of those features are wooden floorboards and stairs which are quite noisy even with modestly careful treading, and the soundproofing is not really a thing there so I was woken early by this. Last thing to comment on is the cleanliness: although dated, the shower appeared to be newer and was super clean and welcoming, as did the rest of the bathroom. I find attention to detail when looking at bathing facilities tells a lot about a place, and this one passed the exam with flying colors. All in all, I highly recommend this lodging and would be happy to return there again when I've more time to explore the area.

Boendet ligger bra i en trevlig lugn by med bra restauranger inom gångavstånd. Värdinnan är trevlig och hjälpsam och rummet var stort och ljust. Frukosten bra. Dock lite slitet och lite stökigt i allmänna utrymmen vilket drar ner betyget något.
