Really good place to stay. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was good. Very convenient to have the pub adjoining for breakfast and dinner. Parking was easy and there is a bus stop right outside that had a good service into Liverpool.

The room was very dusty and we counted 12 spiders living in big webs around the room. The staff member at reception was lovely and helpful. One of our beds was a mattress on the floor not a bed!!

The room was basic, it was clean and the bed was really comfortable. This was booked as a no thrills stay for over Christmas and it ticked all the boxes, it is no thrills but it was clean, there was more than enough tea and coffee in the room. We will definitely stay here again 🙂

On arrival staff smoking outside the hotel door Room was ok bit tired which i expected. Room over looked kitchen, bins and electric units. Went into bar. On one side was a queue for food so went to the front bar which was busy with drinkers. Waited 10 mins nothing so went to the back area to be told we are not using that bar because we are busy so then you had to join a queue of diners . We only wanted one drink. Didnt bother. Breakfast in morning Was ok for what you pay but poached egg was rock solid when i asked Sorry we are really busy. Its secret santa. I presume santa wasnt cooking. Poor excuse again. Room was made up after 1st night But the discarded tissues under the bed that were there when we checked in was still there 3 days later when we checked out. Not much point saying anything as the answer always seem to be "we are busy". Last night instead went for a drink at the greene king pub over the rd same firm. 1 drink no smile no thank you. We went to bed. No pleasant Manners cost nothing Never again thank you.

Bathroom in need of cleaning + redecorating - ceiling paint flaking - lid on top of WC badly chipped - room + bed better than bathroom but after a 6 hour journey we could not be bothered to request a different room!! Staff friendly + professional - food quite good + well priced

Lovely staff doing a good job with a shabby, worn building; in need of a refurbishment. No USB sockets and not enough mains sockets. Typical Greene King. Really good mattress and bed. Plenty of hot water. More of Tradies place in reality. More Primarni than Armani. But convenient for Croft and M53

We had requested a travel cot in advance but it wasnt in the room ready for us but once we asked it was brought and put up for us but the point of requestung it was so thats it ready for you. In the second room there was only ine towel for 3 people. Again once we asked the staff gave us the towels straight away but you shouldnt have to ask. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Room was stuffy on a hot summers night and the synthetic bedding made it uncomfortable.

The room was fine , but the tv Ariel was faulty with a bit of selopate keeping the plug in the wall, they need to look at the modern person who has mobile, tablet and all others for charging. More sockets needed, had to unplug everything to charge just phones. Need to bring multi plug in future

Was given one room that wasnt cleaned, so was given another room, receptionist and another staff were very accommodating and sorted the other room and moved a single bed in for us out of the first room.

I have stayed he now for the last couple of months on a Saturday night not had any problems room fine pub good food all ok but this weekend the pub was full very few staff tables not cleaned food all over the floor so many waiting at bar to be served only one serving then one would come serve the odd one then just go there was over a hour wait for food worst I have seen it there get more staff I drink real ale they have 3 pumps no ale on any in go to GK pubs regular and the have good beers but not here get your act together

The staff were very helpful and accomidating. From the Bar staff to those on reception. The hostess Adene at breakfast was warm, polite and helpful. The only gripe was on out 1st night which we had to ask about our deserts which we waited over an hour on, after oiur main meal. (which were vry nice indeed) as well as Sunday dinner. Bedroom was spacious and the bed very soft. Only gripe was only 3 wall sockets, 1 for kettle, 1 for TV leaving only 1 spare. Everything was indeed within walking distance, Matalan just a few minutes away and TEN PIN Bowling/ Cinema about 15 min walk from hotel as well as many other shops and other stuff. Rear car park for hotel and front one for Bar.

Lovely staff and made sure we had ground floor room that was quiet . Bed comfy, taps hard to turn in bathroom for people with disabilities. Nice breakfast and lovely outside garden. Near to Croft retail park and Bromborough village with restaurants, cafes, Bromborough pub. Wirral way close by for walking. If using public transport can get bus to Cheshire oaks or Liverpool city centre. West Kirby seaside town 30 mins drive

Fantastic value for family accommodation with very friendly and helpful staff in all areas. Brilliantly situated on 1x bus route into Liverpool day ticket jump on off £5 /24 hours. Very comfortable clean rooms

Fantastic value for family accommodation with very friendly and helpful staff in all areas. Brilliantly situated on 1x bus route into Liverpool day ticket jump on off £5 /24 hours. Very comfortable clean rooms

Overall Good experience, would use again. Rooms ok, good size, bathrooms a little tired now and could do with a refresh/refurb, but they are functional. Staff excellent, from the friendly greeting and explaining things through to the bar and breakfast staff. Ate evening meal in the bar/restaurant area, nice food, good price. Parking nice and easy right outside.

I have stayed he now for the last couple of months on a Saturday night not had any problems room fine pub good food all ok but this weekend the pub was full very few staff tables not cleaned food all over the floor so many waiting at bar to be served only one serving then one would come serve the odd one then just go there was over a hour wait for food worst I have seen it there get more staff I drink real ale they have 3 pumps no ale on any in go to GK pubs regular and the have good beers but not here get your act together

Hotel room was a bit tired an dated but never bothered us from enjoying our time here, shower was perfect, nice an plenty pressure, food was really really good, chefs here did a great job, mustvif been so busy but our food came quickly, was a great mini stay an will be back in the future.

The staff were very helpful and accomidating. From the Bar staff to those on reception. The hostess Adene at breakfast was warm, polite and helpful. The only gripe was on out 1st night which we had to ask about our deserts which we waited over an hour on, after oiur main meal. (which were vry nice indeed) as well as Sunday dinner. Bedroom was spacious and the bed very soft. Only gripe was only 3 wall sockets, 1 for kettle, 1 for TV leaving only 1 spare. Everything was indeed within walking distance, Matalan just a few minutes away and TEN PIN Bowling/ Cinema about 15 min walk from hotel as well as many other shops and other stuff. Rear car park for hotel and front one for Bar.

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip and have to say it's good value for money. The room is okay, clean, and big enough, but the entire hotel is very old-fashioned. The restaurant is a bit reminiscent of Weatherspoons; there's a good selection of inexpensive dishes. I had the large grill and everything was delicious. The service was friendly and quick; I can't fault it.

Stayed several times. Good location to motorway/travel into Liverpool. Staff always helpful and bed really comfortable so good night's sleep. Handy for Croft retail park and local pubs and places to eat. Train station about 10 min walk to access Liverpool or Chester so ticks a lot of boxes. Not saying it wouldn't benefit from a room refurb, because it definitely would bit doesn't stop us staying.

Rooms were ok they had mostly what was needed in them, we was mostly out and about so fine for us. It Could have done with more tea, coffee , milk etc as we stayed for two nights. Not enough plug sockets literally had one for kettle , one for tv and one spare which we all by the desk none by the beds. Parking was fine always enough spaces. We got breakfast one of the days as we didn’t paid for it with room, it wasnt that great but ok. The pub next door did have a little play area which was great for my 7year old as he just gets bored very quickly.
