Royal Oak by Greene King inns

Stayed here for a gig in Liverpool, in terms of the hotel building and furnishings, it's starting to show it's age a little, could do with a refurb, however for the cheap price we paid, I didn't mind it. Staff were absolutely lovely from start to finish, 10-15 mins walk to the nearest Merseyrail station for links into Chester and Liverpool. Overall would recommend if you're looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful in the Wirral.

The bed was so soft it was uncomfortable to such an extent we left after one night. The hot water had no pressure it was a struggle to get a good shower

What a great find, perfect location for our needs. Great food in the pub, and the staff were exceptional! Thank you, we'll definitely be back!

Property is nice and loads of parking area,breakfast is good too. Only the shower is very hot. Very location too.

What a lovely 2 night stay at the Royal Oak. All the staff are so nice, nothing is too much trouble. The room was a good size and comfortable. The pub restaurant is huge so no need to book. We had Sunday lunch, I had the 2 meat roast, beef and turkey which was tender and delicious. We will certainly use this place again when we're in the area. Big thanks to the Royal Oak!
