The staff were very nice, professional. The restaurant attached to the inn was handy and the food and prices were excellent. The bed was very comfy, water was hot and pressure good. Our room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, with pods. The heat/cool unit functioned as it should. All that said, the whole building is dated and desperately in need of a renovation. I don’t think the pool has functioned in quite some time. All in all, a good place to stay for an overniter.

I found the room to be less than adequate. There was a musty smell, the carpet was old the walls looked dirty. If you have other options I would use them.

There was a big hole in the wall and a very distinct smell coming from the room in general. Luckily we were only staying for one night. The bathroom looked like it may have the start of mold growing in it. The worst part is the bedding covers were both dirty. Not sure the last time they were washed. I would think these should be being washed on a regular basis. This place used to be nice to stay at, but not sure I could even say that anymore.

We booked our stay based on photos and review rating provided on Hotels.com. The photos must have been from when the hotel was new as it is currently no where near the condition indicated by photos. The room was musty smelling. The hot water was none existent. The bathroom door would not close. The room door was binding and difficult to gain entry. Furniture was very dated. Carpets needed replacing. Overall, not impressed. The hallway was musty smelling. The exterior of the building was needing a lot of maintenance. To be fair, a couple of items that were good (to be fair). Helpful and friendly, i had stayed at a bunch of hotels during my two week trip, the one thing at stood out was it DIDN'T have a funny smell !!! Most places i stayed in had a oder , not unpleasant just an oder, this place even the towles smelt good while i was drying off. 1000% will stay here again if i'm in the area.

We arrived and our room was very stuffy and smelled funny. My husband opened fridge and there was food in it along with mild. Went to front desk and they claim they don't check the rooms after maids clean. They said they trust the maids. Not pleased with that response. Ask about another room and they said they only had 1 left. We took it and once in that room, Water was pooled in the tub because the drain was pulled down. Also smelled musty and drain in sink had black specks. We left until about 1am and came back to door to hotel OPEN so ANYONE could have entered the hotel. NOT COOL. Breakfast on Sunday morning was over an hour before we got our food. French toast tasted SALTY! Not sure how salt is needed for french toast. We ate 2 bites and left. Lastly, maid was outside our door at 9:33 waiting for us to leave when check out is 11am. NOT IMPRESSED

I have stayed here one night a year for 9 years. I like about everything they have and do. The breakfast is at a regular restaurant and very good. Only changes I would like is to have the rooms updated. They are old and outdated

I enjoyed my stay at this small motel in Rugby. It also has a restaurant located within the building that serves pretty good food and you cannot beat the convenience.

We enjoyed the restaurant being so close. We were able to eat there with our family that live in Rugby the first evening we arrived. The service was wonderful and the breakfasts were very good. We enjoyed being there and will probably return when we come back to Rugby.

The room we were given initially smelled bad and the tv and microwave did not work. We’re were moved to a different t room and it was better - tv worked and smell was ok. When we checked out the lady st the desk asked if we wanted breakfast and gave us coupons for the restaurant next door. The desk agent never advised us breakfast was available when we checked in. Overall the property is old and getting run down. Definitely not worth the fee charged

The staff was friendly but the place is in bad need of renovation. I was very disappointed that it was rated 8.4 not over a 7 at best.

The lights in my bathroom didn't work and the only other room available was a room that didn't get hot water for 30 minutes according to the staff. We had to shower/toilet by cell phone flashlights. There was a pile of trash in the parking lot and not cleaned up the 2 days we were there. Staff were friendly and it was nice having a restaurant on site. Slept well.
