The motel is very close to JBSA Lackland. The room was clean but in need of some minor repairs/updating: ie bathtub faucets, grout missing, shower head old and not adjustable. The property is lit up like a football stadium at night and that is an overkill. The lights come on before sunset and stay on until after sunrise. Nothing like walking out of your room and getting blinded by the lights! The only place to sit outside is 2 benches outside the office and around the swimming pool. The pool was locked most days and one night, so find a curb or sit in your car. The lobby is crowded and disheveled. The beds are not comfortable and there is a metal box frame that is easy to kick, making a loud noise. The entire property is in need of some TLC.

No internet no hbo. We were kicked out at 11:00 a.m. right at checkout with a loud knock at the door then accused of not paying for our dog which we did. Very unprofessional in my opinion. The room was nice. Pool very clean. Just didnt like how we were treated at checkout

Spent 2 nights there recently and have nothing but good things to say about it. First off was greeted by the friendly staff, easy check in, clean room, No bugs, comfy bed, hot water in the shower, cold A/C, clean pool. They met every standard I look for when renting a room.

The clerk was nice. Pool water was green. I picked up the phone in the room and a roach egg feel out. Small worm was crawling on the floor. Sink was backed up. The establishment was run down and the bedding was from the 80's. Never again!

The front desk receptionist was very nice and polite; the room and bathroom were both very clean. The hotel was in a quiet area. Overall it was a pleasant stay. It’s a very simple hotel but lacks no necessities.

I felt safe the whole time i was there. All of the staff were very nice and friendly from the cleaning staff to the front desk. The room was clean and the linens smelled like they just came out of the dryer.

The front office was nice and professional. The hotel needs for sure improvement. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was working great! Cleanliness was not the best as far sweeping and washing floors, we bring flip flops to wear all the time.

The hotel was great, the staff were super helpful and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaints are the floor was kind of dirty (it felt almost sandy) and if there was WiFi, it did not reach all the way to our room at then end of the hall. Overall, I would stay there again if it was a trip for a night or two.

The room was large and the two queens beds were very nice. Bathroom clean. No closets! Plenty of hangers in cubbies but no closet. TV turned on but could not get any channels to work. The motel had no vending machines for snacks or beverages. 24 hr coffee but no tea service available. Reception personnel not professional and had no concern for guests. No lampshade on standing lamp. No overhead lighting. One lamp over nightstand had a bulb that flickered like a disco ball. Cheaper for a reason

From the outside it wasn't much, but room was amazing and very updated! The interior design was beautiful, clean, and beds were great! The outside may look like a 2.5 star but the inside was 5 stars!

This hotel is so old and nasty. The baseboards are filthy. The rooms smell terrible. The Wi-Fi is incredibly slow. Never staying here again.

Decided to stay at this hotel for my husbands BMT graduation. So ill give an in depth detail about my likes and dislikes of this hotel. Likes: Theres a fridge, theres a microwave, functional AC, and the beds are comfortable. Theres a gas station next door which is open late and convenient for those who dont have a car to grab drinks or a quick snack. If your looking for something close to base, its a 6 minute drive in a lyft that will cost you roughly 6-12 dollars depending on the time and day. Theres a small desk thats nice for putting things on, and the TV has a hdmi port for connecting game stations. Front office was relatively helpful... As for my dislikes- I spotted about 3, very, VERY tiny baby roaches, mostly in the bathroom area, the water in the sink can get scalding hot if you turn the knob too far ( burnt me and my siblings hands), the shower temperature knob is strange because turning it directly on hot has it cold, and you must keep the knob in the middle towards cold to have it warm up. Wifi is a little odd and cant connect on alot of devices, rooms are made the moment you step out so im constantly pulling the sheets i didnt want off my bed. Had my door opened this morning despite the DND sign and being locked because cleaning staff was not informed of my late checkout that was planned the night before. Not ideal privacy wise and gave me quite the scare. Late checkout/Early check in fees are kind of expensive given the quality of the hotel and my stay.$15/hr

Location was perfect for graduation at Lackland AFB, less than 2 minutes to Luke Gate. Looks like the property was recently updated, all new paint inside and outside, updated rooms. This is the first hotel I've been in since covid that cleans the rooms daily during your stay. Staff was great, very friendly. I alerted them to my 3:00 AM checkout and they were awake and waiting for me at the front desk when I left. The restaurant next door (Claudia's) is excellent too. If you are traveling to JBSA Lackland I would highly recommend this place.

This property is very close to the Air Force base. You are literally on the base. It was very clean. I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. This hotel is military-friendly and great for families who have a graduate in basic training. I definitely will be back to stay.

Our hotel room was not in the best condition. I was so happy we brought Clorox wipes. There was a brownish red splatter on the walls near the bathroom. Unfortunately we had to stay one night there and made sure to barricade our door at night. The biggest clue that this was not a safe area were the iron bars on the hotel windows and surrounding businesses. I will never stay here again.

Although the location looks like it’s randomly placed in the middle of a dark road, it’s actually very convenient for those interested in visiting sea world and the river walk! We drove no more then 15 minutes to each location. Definitely stop at stores before you get to the hotel because other than 1 kind of sketchy corner store, there isn’t anything walkable in the area. 3-5 minutes by car you do have access to multiple things, though. The check-in and staff were friendly, although the office took me back about 20 years. The room itself was pretty good! Small, no closet, but I was happy to see a fridge and (old) microwave. Water pressure was great in the shower! Overall, it was pretty clean but the floors need more attention. I had to put a towel down on the floor between the beds because walking barefoot, I was putting debris on the bed. A good sweep and mop is needed. Other than that, it was comfortable for a 2 night stay. It was affordable and quiet. I would stay again!

We decided to stay here due to the good reviews and we were not disappointed. This place is very clean, well maintained, and staff very nice and helpful. Location is quiet and feels safe. There are not shops or dining places at a walking distance, but some good ones are not far either if you don't mind driving. I would definitely consider this motel for my next visit to San Antonio.

We came to san antonio to see our son graduate from Airforce BMT. We wanted to be as to the base we could be. This hotel was only 5 min from the Luke gate. Ocean, who checked us in was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the area, and knew alot regarding the base and visiting with our airmen. Room was clean, its an older hotel so a dew little things that could be attended to. Overall a nice inexpensive place to stay while youre in town. And when you want something to eat. Go right next door to claudias mexican restaurant. Ocean, suggested that place and it is awesome! Food is so good, and you get a huge portion. The people there are wonderful!

If you have a car, great. We did not, we returned it because we had a very early flight. The area around the hotel is not walkable (no sidewalks or pedestrian crossings) which made getting dinner a bit of an adventure. I also wish they'd had grab-bags with something for breakfast for those of us with early flights. Aside from that, it was a great place to stay before a flight.

Was very close to the Air Force Base where my granddaughter was graduating from basic training . It was clean, bed was very comfortable and had restaurant next door which was a great and did not have to drive.
