The pool is actually next door. I wouldn’t stay here if a pool is important. Also be aware that even though the shuttle says 24/7 you may be in competition with other people. Also the shuttle can only drop at a designated area, not your gate. Just be aware, time wise. Service was great, Kelly at the front desk is a solution oriented person.

One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s also very safe. You have to use your keycard to enter every room (gym, elevator etc). I will definitely stay here again!

Large clean suite with modern bath. Slow shuttle pickup at AUS - 45 mins, too long. also clock alarm went off at 6AM, didnt need that, when I mentioned it to front desk person, no response.....

We had a room on the freeway side of the hotel and the road noise was pretty loud. We also had a refrigerator that made an obnoxious noise the first couple of nights of our stay. They did send a repair man that was able to fix it. The staff was great and we enjoyed utilizing the gym.

Our flight arrived after midnight, and it was so nice to find a hotel that offered a 24 hour shuttle. The only thing I missed, there was no breakfast offered.

The room and bathroom was clean. The fridge was helpful for us. The ambience was not to my liking, but that's just me. May want to consider brighter lights at least in the bathroom (for shaving or putting on makeup). What I found interesting is, despite the air conditioner running while we were there, the moisture level of the unit was high. AC is supposed to bring the moisture level down, which didn't happen.

I loved the room. It had a small stove and even a dish washer and pots, pans and some dishes. I didn’t use them but I thought that was really nice. Definitely is something that makes me consider staying here again. It was cozy. The shower handle did break and I wasn’t able to shut the water off but I was given another room and I didn’t have to pay extra. I really enjoyed staying here and would have like to stay longer. It was a good price and the room was very nice.

We stayed one night at the Candlewood prior to an early morning departure from San Antonio airport. The room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed. There is a restaurant across the parking lot so no driving needed. Our only complaint was the highway noise interrupting our sleep but that was the trade-off to be close to the airport. All of the airport hotels are located on the highway so this is not unique to Candelwood. There is a shuttle as well.

The property is very nice and across the parking lot is the Holiday Inn with a bar/restaurant which is great too. Rooms were fantastic! Well equippedkitchen area with a dishwasher. Large bathroom. Clean! Would recommend for a long stay or just overnight on your way to the airport.

Excellent stay for Besame Mucho weekend in Austin! Close to venue and delicious food! Service was excellent at check in, bed was comfortable and water pressure/temp was perfect!

We stayed one night at the Candlewood prior to an early morning departure from San Antonio airport. The room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed. There is a restaurant across the parking lot so no driving needed. Our only complaint was the highway noise interrupting our sleep but that was the trade-off to be close to the airport. All of the airport hotels are located on the highway so this is not unique to Candelwood. There is a shuttle as well.

Our flight arrived after midnight, and it was so nice to find a hotel that offered a 24 hour shuttle. The only thing I missed, there was no breakfast offered.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Phillip, at the front desk was a big help for me in many ways...directions, places to go to eat, parking solutions. He was great.

This was convenient to the airport with timely shuttle service to/fro. There were some initial issues with the keycards for elevator and room , while minor, i normally dont encounter that at other similar properties. it was extremely petty to not let me in the room for a 3pm check in. when it was like 2:15pm but i agreed to join the rewards program which allowed me to get to my room right away. the room itself is spacious , great desk space and good for business travel with plenty of outlets and wi-fi was fine. the bed was comfortable. the hallway smelled terrible actually made me nauseous, not sure if it was some chemical for cleaning carpets. but this made the stay less pleasant going in / out. i only stayed for one night but had it been more it would have been a surprise that cleaning the room was extra within a week. I did walk across to the other IHG property for dinner and breakfast which was easy since there isnt a place on this property. Dinner was fine but i didnt like what i ordred for breakfast either the eggs nor the pancakes.... i didnt even finish even close to what i ordered which for $30 was a bit of a waste. But overall the candlewood was ok.
