Preis/Leistung: Befriedigend (Für die Kosten erwarte ich mehr; 14€ Parkgebühren pro Tag ist eine Hausnummer) Lage: Hervorragend (Für Besuche in den Königsschlössern) Sehr nettes Personal, auch wenn viele mit der deutschen Sprache Probleme haben. Wellnessbereich ist relativ klein und überschaubar. Dementsprechend am Wochenende sehr voll (Mussten 30min warten, bis Liegen frei waren). Der Raum mit dem Pool hat eine viel zu hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit und ist deutlich zu aufgeheizt. Restaurant Lisl am Abend und das Frühstück hat überzeugt. Zimmer war auch in Ordnung mit super Aussicht.

Unterbringung im Jägerhaus, leider ein Haus ohne Aufzug, dies wurde vorher nicht kommuniziert. Leider verfügt dieses Hotel über keine E-Ladestation, da es hier um ein relativ neu umgebautes Hotel handelt, könnte man dies schon erwarten. Nachmittags erhält man im Hotel keinen Kaffee, dafür muss man runter an den See zu einem Selfservice Gasthaus.

Wundervolles SpaResort in Hohenschwangau, direkt am Fuß von Schloss Neuschwanstein. Eher Hochpreisiges Hotel, aber man bekommt auch was für sein Geld. Spa, Fitness und Frühstück waren hervorragend. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen. Die Zimmer sind modern und schon eingerichtet. Leider lässt die Sauberkeit im Hotel, besonders im Zimmer, etwas zu wünschen übrig. Spinnweben und Staub waren häufig sichtbar. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, auch das Abendessen. Leider hat das Restaurant bereits um 21 Uhr geschlossen was für eher nachtaktive ungeeignet ist. Es gibt einen Shop an der Rezeption, dieser hatte allerdings nur softgetränke und Chips/Haribo. Der Spa war kleiner als erwartet aber in sehr guten Zustand, die Massagen ausgezeichnet.

The views are amazing! Our room had a view of the castle. The location of the hotel is so convenient everything. The spa was nice but was missing towels at night. The two saunas were a plus. Would love to go back someday.

The view from our room was outstanding. We could view both castles from our windows. Breakfast was delicious and had a tremendous variety. Parking was available. The location could not be beat. Staff was very friendly and spoke English. The negatives: the carpet was stained and in need of replacement. The pool, which is supposed to be part of a relaxing spa, was FULL of children. We couldn’t even get in and it was very loud and uncomfortable.

This place is great. I gave a review for the first nights stay already. Best of the best. This review is for our second night. Only 1 complaint. They did not renew our linens or refill our coffe on the second day. Every other hotel we have stayed at in Germany has renewed everything every day.

Der Reinigungsservice war sehr mangelhaft; die Toilette war schmutzig und das Reinigungspersonal wischte nur das Zimmer auf. Während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts lagen Fliegenkadaver auf dem Boden, und der Staubsauger wurde in den vier Tagen nicht benutzt, sodass die Böden überhaupt nicht gereinigt wurden‼️ Das Personal an der Rezeption hingegen war ausgezeichnet, und das Essen im Restaurant sowie das Frühstück waren hervorragend. Der Balkon war staubig, aber insgesamt war das Hotel sehr schön und gemütlich, und die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer war fantastisch. Wir waren insgesamt zufrieden. Ich hoffe, dass es durch die Verbesserung der Hygienebedingungen noch viel besser wird und eine 5-Sterne-Bewertung erhält.

It is perfectly located by the castles. The staff is so friendly and kind. The pool and saunas are perfect after a day of walking around the castle properties, especally after a chilly drizzily day. The breakfast is outstanding with so many choices. Only reason I gave 4 for cleanliness is the carpet in our room was dirty gross. Its almost 2024, get rid of the carpet! Füsses is a nice small town to visit. Highly recommended for a nice relaxing get away and get away gorrm the hustle and bussle of the larger cities.

Super Lage, mit ein paar Mängeln. Die Lage ist perfekt zum wandern oder besichtigen der Schlösser. Wir hatten einen tollen Blick von unserem Zimmer auf die Schlösser. Vom Schwimmbad, der Sauna und der Außenliegefläche hat mann einen tollen Blick auf den Alpsee. Sogar die Möglichkeit am Kiosk etwas zu holen oder im Alpsee schwimmen zu gehen. Leider lässt die Sauberkeit sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten ein Hundezimmer für das wir pro Tag 25 € extra für den Hund zahlen (zusätzliche Reinigungskosten). Da sollte mann erwarten können das mann ein sauberes Zimmer erhält. Genau das Gegenteil war der Fall. Selbst im Bett waren sogar Hundehaare. Im ganzen Zimmer war nicht ordentlich gesaugt. Glasflächen und Möbelteile voller Flecken. Dusch Handtücher haben gefehlt. Im Schwimmbad waren nachmittags keine Handtücher mehr obwohl kaum Betrieb war. Im Gasthaus Bräuhaus war das Geschirr verdreckt und voller Flecken. Im Restaurant Lisl wird auf der Internetseite für ein 4 Gänge Menü geworben. Mann erhält aber nur 3 Gänge und das zu einem Preis von 45 / 50 €. Leider auch sehr kleine Portionen. Abgerechnet wurde ein Getränk zum Preis für 0,4 L. Erhalten habe ich aber nur ein Glas mit 0,2 L. Schade für ein Hotel in dieser Preislage!

Im Zimmer gab es ein paar Mängel und es war nicht perfekt sauber. Dennoch haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und im Zimmer war es sehr ruhig. Man bekommt nichts von anderen Urlaubern mit. Das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl und das Serviceteam hat gute Tipps. Der Wellnessbereich reicht völlig aus.

The hotel is stunning with beautiful rooms, lovely spa and an amazing array of attractions on the doorstep. The restaurant food was amazing, but service was slow and had a tendency to sell more wine whilst waiting for dishes. The room was also not serviced very well, the left wine glasses in the room from the night before, replaced our bath towels with smaller towels and the coffee set was left with no creamer. For the everyday service they are below expectation for a 3 star hotel let alone a luxury resort. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it, but be aware of this lack of attention to detail.

We stayed in the older section of the property. Whilst it was quaint, it was disappointing that there was no AC. Given the fact that it was very warm, no AC made for a challenging sleep and after a long haul flight that was challenging. To be fair, I was offered an upgrade to the new part of the hotel, however as we were only there for one night, I felt that price I would have to pay was unreasonable. I was particularly disappointed in the quality of the towels in the bathroom. However, the staff were kind and breakfast the next morning was lovely.

The room was incredibly small. They only had a clothes rack, no closet. The sink was within 18 inches of the bed. I would not choose this hotel again based on the size of the room. Otherwise it was okay and the staff was excellent.

We stayed in the modern part of the hotel in a standard double room with a nice view. Small bathroom but they have thoughtfully installed shelving for guests things. Nice shower. Excellent breakfast buffet.

This was a gorgeous property and hotel in a picturesque setting. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel bar is nice. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bathroom is so small. Perhaps this isn't the case in the better rooms - we took the basic room.

I understand that the hotel is built in a historical structure, so there was no AC. During winter time, it should be okay, but the summer time, they Expedia website should notice no AC. Then I won’t choose that room.

I came to see Ludwig’s castles but my stay was over the top due to my stay at the Ameron hotel. The location is amazing. Across from one castle and so close as can be to the castle on the mountain. The staff, especially Ilaria, were so helpful in planning my stay. The parking is easy and the town of Füssen less than 25 minutes away. It is wonderful to stay there and see the castles at night and in the early morning while you are having a very nice buffet breakfast. The room I had was very comfortable and efficient. Loved the wood floors. The heated towel rack is always a great benefit especially when you swim. I ate in the bar both nights and enjoyed it. I had a massage by Lea and wished I’d booked two of them. The pool is wonderful with a view. My room had a view of the lake Such a relaxing stay even though I was on the go both days. You can’t help relax when you enter the hotel.

Die Lage ist toll und das Hotel schön. Leider war das Personal unfreundlich was uns enttäuschte. Frühstück war ok, obschon der Platz (Anzahl gedeckter Tische) limitiert war. Nur wenige Liegestühle auf der Wiese. Preis/Leistung stimmt leider nicht überein.

We would return to the Ameron in a heartbeat! The resort was lovely - comfortable rooms, welcoming staff, delicious meals, fantastic A/C in very hot weather and the location is amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer!

Our second time staying here, another great trip. The food is wonderful and the staff are all very friendly and professional. We enjoyed our time talking with the Ludwig bar staff. Sandro, Haze, and Kevin were great and made amazing well balanced cocktails. Thank you all again!

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage zwischen den beiden Königsschlössern. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend und das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wirklich empfehlenswert!

We loved the location, at the feet of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. The bed was comfortable, and the Jaggerhouse was unique and quiet. We missed toiletries (only 1 bottle of soap for hands and shower), no bar soap, no conditioner, no tissues, and a couple of “needs a cleaning” places (shower drain topper slips off, and bottom 1/4 of shower tile grout), plus the dust that had gathered on the tower fan were off putting. I tried to call the front desk 3 times, but didn’t receive and answer, nor a callback.

We were there on a Sunday evening and the only dinning option was the "half-board" at Lisl restaurant. We had the both the vegetarian and meat. The food was not very good and considering there were only a few other tables, the service terrible. It a long time between courses. The entire meal took over 2 Hrs and I had go to the kitchen to find our server so we could sign the bill. Very disappointing experience.

AMERON resort and spa was the perfect place to stay during our visit to the castles. The location is ideal, walking distance to the castles and beautiful views of both castles. Our rooms were wonderful and the entire grounds were new, modern and beautifully decorated.

Incredible location, surrounded by mountains and next to a lake. Great walking in the area, with fantastic scenery. Walking distance from both the Hohenschwangau and (a bit further) Neuschwanstein castles. About 40 mins walk each to the towns of Schwangau and Fussen; there's various good museums in the latter. Tegelberg mountain has spectacular views also and can be reached by cable car from near Schwangau. Breakfast is excellent, with full cooked options (not just 'continental'). Our room was a good size and well appointed, with a balcony view. The hotel was in excellent condition throughout. As with all Bavaria - you need to get to dinner by 7pm, wherever you dine. Kitchens close promptly at 8, which seemed to catch others out too (the bar's kitchen closed later, at 9:30). There's little to do in the evenings near the hotel, but after the day's activities you'll probably be ready for sleep anyway. Overall, a lovely, modern hotel with enough locally to spend 10 packed, enjoyable days. Note hotel parking is paid for, at 14 Euros a night.

The Hotel was very nice and the view to the castle is unique. The room was very nice. Only the breakfast was not that good for a Hotel of this cost. Very less fruit for example. We had much better breakfasts also in smaller Hotels.

The view from our room was outstanding. We could view both castles from our windows. Breakfast was delicious and had a tremendous variety. Parking was available. The location could not be beat. Staff was very friendly and spoke English. The negatives: the carpet was stained and in need of replacement. The pool, which is supposed to be part of a relaxing spa, was FULL of children. We couldn’t even get in and it was very loud and uncomfortable.

Great location to see both Castles. Great views and lakes nearby to walk or hike. Staff excellent. Breakfast superb and ours was included. Main restaurant was so so for the price. Cocktails were great. Try the beer garden or local cafe for better food for less. Definitely walk around the lake for amazing vistas, clean air and the clearest lake I’ve ever seen.

Perfectly placed for a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle. Excellent check in and service, lovely modern hotel. We requested extra water for the room and it arrived immediately. Parking available but not ideal, narrow steep entrance a short walk from reception. Breakfast was good, small but varied buffet and eggs cooked to order. We ate in the Lisl restaurant, the food was excellent but service was haphazard and a little rushed. The evening was spoilt by a very unruly child, perhaps an adults only fine dining experience should be considered. Some beauty products in the bathroom would be nice and replenishment of tissue box which was not done during our stay. The spa pool is not heated as we would usually expect and there is no laundry service in the hotel but still an excellent 2 night stay. A tip re the castle: Give the interior tour a miss! It's overpriced rushed and staff are miserable !

Love this hotel just at the bottom and in between 2 amazing German castles. Clean and comfortable rooms, best breakfast in Europe. Spa is relaxing too. Parking available for a cost. The dinner restaurant is not my favorite tho, too fancy. I prefer more simple or traditional dishes. This is my second stay at this hotel and would def recommend

Family room was spacious, amazing views. Excellent breakfast with view of castle. Spa was wonderful, every detail was well executed. Don't skip taking a swim in the Alpsee or the half board dinner.

Excellent location. The halbpension was great value. Wonderful breakfast and Andre(?) , the food director, did an outstanding job at dinner. The spa is also a nice treat after a day of touring the castles. The place is huge and any kind of service is difficult to come by. Also our room in the Alpenrose section had a very strange layout…half the space was taken up by a large bathtub.

We loved the amenities and used the pool and sauna almost every day. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. The air conditioning was really strong in our room which we appreciated. There were a few downsides. We didn’t feel like the staff were extra hospitable besides the cleaning crew. The cleaning crew were awesome and so friendly. But we asked if we could check out at 12 instead of 11 because we just got engaged and the receptionist said no which I thought was odd. In the US, they would have done something special for an engagement and we didn’t receive that response. He said he was concerned that his coworkers would be mad at him for letting us stay an hour later and didn’t want to get yelled at. After working in hospitality for 6 years, I was very surprised by this reaction especially at a hotel this expensive. Are other downside was we felt like we couldn’t sit outside on the lounge chairs because there were so many bees.

Gret location, nice hotel right bu castle and lake. Only one elevator that was smll and very popular. Staff was nice but unable to make your experience . Overall, they were not helpful. More transactional. Still location was great, jut dont expect white glove service.

We had unknowingly booked a room in the “Jagerhaus”. A separate annex from the main hotel. It had no air-con and was horribly hot. There was a fridge in the room which sometimes worked, then didn’t. As the room was so hot we opened the windows during the night and used a mosquito repellent plug, but in the morning discovered that the plug had gone off and we were covered in bites (being close to the lake). It turns out the the light switch by the bedside also controlled the plug sockets for the fridge and our mosquito repellent. The hotel should put a sign in the room explaining this peculiar system, then we might have had a better nights sleep. The location was good and the main building of the hotel looked nice, so would stay in the main building if we returned. The annex would have been fine in the cooler months

Meget bra standard på hotellet. Anbefaler å bo i selve hotellbygningen og ikke de eksterne leilighetene. Behagelig med aircondition og fantastisk plassering for å besøke slottene.

Hotel was brilliant, the main attraction was the setting, with stunning views of the lake and mountains. It is also a 10 min walk to one castle and a short bus ride to the other. Would highly recommend.
