I was dubious about my stay because when I mentioned where I was staying to the people at the company I was visiting they all looked horrified and suggested I was making some sort of terrible mistake. But to be honest there was not much difference to some of the premier inns I have stayed in. And it was all absolutely fine. Only thing that needs sorting out is the fact the attached pub doesn’t start breakfast until 9:00 am which is useless for business travellers.

Our room was not ready at 22:30 as it had been missed off the cleaning list so we had to wait 30mins for the night porter to clean the room for us and our two kids under 6 years old. Told we would get a refund still awaiting confirmation from the reception. The room smelt of smoke.

Ok, a little tired in certain areas but its just a old Premmier Inn, staff on reception really helpful and pleasant. The old bed washing was still on the floor when I entered the room from previous occupant and the cleaning team forget to collect it.

In need of a bit of love. Poor finish to repairs and bathroom looking dated and going into disrepair. Tap wouldn’t turn off, extract sounded like a rocket ship, bath had rust spots, mastic seal around sink and bath done by stevie wonder, heavy dust on tv and toilet roll holder.

There were dried in wee Staines on the toilet, black hairs on and in the sink, dirt in the bath and brown Staines on the sheet when I pulled back the blanket. The surfaces were covered in dust and cobwebs on the walls and corners of the ceilings. I paid 152 pound for two nights it was disgusting I would not recommend for an extra 40 pound you can book the premier inn where cleanliness and comfort are guaranteed. I will not be making the same mistake again regret not book the premier inn as I usually do.

There are so many positives for the hotel. Easy access from the motorway, ample parking, good facilities nearby, good sized rooms, and friendly staff. The only thing that let it down was the noise from other rooms.

The accommodation is some what tired and in need of modernising, but the bed was comfortable with clean linen and the shower was powerful. Overall it is functional and satisfactory but if you are looking for contemporary accommodation with decent interior furnishing this would not suit your taste.

This hotel is a bit run down and shabby but it served it's purpose as a bed for the night, which thankfully was very comfortable. What was not so good was the hideously noisy fan in the bathroom, taps with dodgy valves that suddenly burst and soaked my trousers, a borken thermostat and lights above the dresser that could not be turned off. I hunted everywhere and tried everyt switch but had to sleep with the light on. When I checked in at 2pm I was met with a n ipression of walking into a furnace, The room stat was registering 30c and it felt it. There was a big cross on it in marker pen and it could not be adjusted so I just turned off the electric radiator and opened the window. When I returned at midnight it was down to a more respectable 20c. I did enjoy the decent size flat screen TV (I expected an old CRT) for a short period befor I retired. In need of knocking down and starting again but for one night it was fine if a little overpriced at £60. I didn't report my problems to the receptionist due to lethargy and time contrainsts as well as my short stay.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. I was booked to stay at this hotel and on arrival to my room it was very apparent that illegal drugs had been used. The staff at the hotel were aware of this but had no problem issuing me the room. When I spoke to staff they were unconcerned about the fact drugs were clearly being used at the hotel. I did not stay at the hotel as I was not going to compromise my safety. I would give it very serious consideration before booking this hotel.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. I was booked to stay at this hotel and on arrival to my room it was very apparent that illegal drugs had been used. We stayed here and had a great experience. The pub near by was great with lovely staff. The staff at the Purple Roomz was great and accomidating when we needed the extra bed made up. All in all it was a great experience.

Ideal spot for our overnight stop off between York and Blackpool. This is clearly a repurposed Premier Inn and yes it is a little dated. Beyond that, comfy bed, great shower and a warm welcome, what’s no to love!

Great location for the motorway link nearby and easy walking distance into Bamber Bridge. Received a warm welcome and the hotel is everything that you would expect from a Premier Inn. No hesitation in recommending and pleased it is on my radar!

I was dubious about my stay because when I mentioned where I was staying to the people at the company I was visiting they all looked horrified and suggested I was making some sort of terrible mistake. But to be honest there was not much difference to some of the premier inns I have stayed in. And it was all absolutely fine. Only thing that needs sorting out is the fact the attached pub doesn’t start breakfast until 9:00 am which is useless for business travellers.

We stayed here and had a great experience. The pub near by was great with lovely staff. The staff at the Purple Roomz was great and accomidating when we needed the extra bed made up. All in all it was a great experience.

Lovely friendly staff, very comfy beds, good shower, with bath available 😀 fresh towels, tea and coffee available, right next door to hungry horse, across road from walton fox restaurant vintage inns, free car parking , will definitely stay again, freat value for money

Bed was comfortable but that’s about as good as it gets. The room looked tired and worn. There were marks on the sheets, a dirty towel on the floor upon entering the room and the floor was in dire need of a good vacuuming. For the price of £80+ I expect better. I would have said £40-£45 per night would be a more realistic price point.

This small hotel was well located not far from the M6 motorways with a supermarket and shops nearby. There was an excellent big pub only a couple of minutes from the hotel which served good food and had a comfortable large bar / restaurant with lots of seating outside. We had breakfast and dinner in the pub and a few drinks outside in the sunshine. We would stop there again if in the Preston area.
