No onsite parking on Saturday night. Staff reported that it's always like this because of weddings!! For the price we paid for 3 nights, we shouldn't have had to park down the street in an unlit apartment complex lot. That's where staff told us to park!

This is a nice place to stay in the downtown Janesville area. I would recommend it highly. There’s a steakhouse on site. I did not eat there but it is available. There’s also a pool. Close to the restaurants bars easily walking distance makes for a nice night out.

Good option for staying outside of Madison. Located right on the river, across the street from a street market on the Saturday morning that we were there, and a short walk from coffee shop/restaurants. Free breakfast had good selection, including fresh waffles and name brand condiments (including salsa). We also enjoyed the pool and had it all to ourselves.

The bed was very comfortable! The hotel was a easy walk to food and cocktails after a long day of motorcycle riding. The only disappointing thing about this hotel was the pool is very small and there is no hot tub. Therefore if there is a pool full of kids at 9pm you won’t be swimming!

Love that there’s a pool, business center (with printing), easy parking, helpful staff. We’ve stayed here each time we’ve had to come to Janesville. Breakfast is ample, too, and the on-site restaurant is solid.

The room itself was nice, bed was comfortable, amenities were fine. Lots of cute shops in the area for daytime browsing. We arrived in the evening. After getting out of our truck to grab our bags, we were approached by a vagrant who would not go away. I was happy my husband was with me. I walked ahead to let him deal with this intrusive man when another younger man had attempted to approach me. I made it clear that he was to STOP! Turns out the hotel is in a common area for less than reputable citizens. The day clerk told us that she also had issues in the past but it had gotten better and she did not worry for her safety while at work. Personally I would not book this hotel as a single gal arriving alone at night. This really calls for a security staff to be on duty during check-in hours. We also booked a few days in advance. The less than friendly evening clerk was sorry to inform us that they only have one elevator and it's not working. We are on the third floor. Sorry all the other rooms were filled on first and second. I'm in my 60's but still able to walk up stairs, however not so easily. Really, I think we should have been notified or comped in some way. At this point, it's too late. Will never book there again.

Desk help was very unfriendly especially at check-in. Acted like we were an inconvenience. Took my credit card and handed me the room keys and said you're all set. Not a mention of breakfast or wifi or any other amenities. There were not a ton of guests in the hotel, yet we were placed in the room directly adjacent to the elevator. Our headboard shared a wall with the elevator that went up and down at all hours of the day and night. Room was very dingy and there was trash left from previous guests in our room. Signs everywhere indicating the hotel was completely smoke free and guests would be fined, yet when walking through the lobby there was a distinct and obvious presence of fresh cigarette smoke coming from the area behind the front desk where employees were gathered. A few minutes later there was an overwhelming smell of air freshener that had been sprayed to cover it up. Considered eating in the steak house until we looked at the prices! No way could the food at this hotel be worth those prices.

The bad: Slow check in process at front desk. Our room appeared to not be cleaned. Strange stains on our pillows and also in bathroom tub. The good: Comfortable bed, nice hot breakfast included. Overall not worth paying $275 bucks per night.

Breakfast eggs with cheese folded in were discussing. Hash brown potatoes were not cooked at all. Found a bluddy wash cloth stuffed by the blow dryer. A used condom wraper under air conditioner unit. Don't stay here. The check in receptionist was fantastic!

The staff was very friendly when we arrived and checked out. But when we got to our room there was a garbage can in the bathroom that was not emptied, as well as hair from former occupants on the pillows. The building outside of our room seemed to be in great condition.

Checkin and out was easy with no problems. Our room was clean and comfortable. A delicious complimentary breakfast+ was fantastic.The staff was accommodating, professional, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was awesome for their guests. We could not have been happier to have stayed there and plan to return soon.

The hotel was absolutely, beautiful, staff was very nice, the beds were super comfy, the rooms are very clean on top of the entire hotel. The area where the hotel sits is absolutely beautiful and historic. The complimentary breakfast was hot and delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely be coming back!

It was convenient to downtown where we wanted to be, but other than that, it was just ok. Nothing special, beds were not comfortable, the only dining option at the hotel was extremely expensive for the area. The free breakfast was nice, but all the 'hot' food was cold. The downtown area is pretty dead, lots of closed up businesses. There are a few good bar/restaurants about a block away, but that's about it.

The hotel was a great location downtown but the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and in horrible condition. The bed was so loud every time you turned over. The air/heating was also loud and made a loud clanking sound every time it turned on. So loud it woke me up all night long.

Our headboard shared a wall with the elevator that went up and down at all hours of the day and night. Room was very dingy and there was trash left from previous guests in our room. Signs everywhere indicating the hotel was completely smoke free and guests would be fined, yet when walking through the lobby there was a distinct and obvious presence of fresh cigarette smoke coming from the area behind the front desk where employees were gathered. A few minutes later there was an overwhelming smell of air freshener that had been sprayed to cover it up. Considered eating in the steak house until we looked at the prices! No way could the food at this hotel be worth those prices.

Checkin and out was easy with no problems. Our room was clean and comfortable. A delicious complimentary breakfast+ was fantastic.The staff was accommodating, professional, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was awesome for their guests. We could not have been happier to have stayed there and plan to return soon.

The room itself was nice, bed was comfortable, amenities were fine. Lots of cute shops in the area for daytime browsing. We arrived in the evening. After getting out of our truck to grab our bags, we were approached by a vagrant who would not go away. I was happy my husband was with me. I walked ahead to let him deal with this intrusive man when another younger man had attempted to approach me. I made it clear that he was to STOP! Turns out the hotel is in a common area for less than reputable citizens. The day clerk told us that she also had issues in the past but it had gotten better and she did not worry for her safety while at work. Personally I would not book this hotel as a single gal arriving alone at night. This really calls for a security staff to be on duty during check-in hours. We also booked a few days in advance. The less than friendly evening clerk was sorry to inform us that they only have one elevator and it's not working. We are on the third floor. Sorry all the other rooms were filled on first and second. I'm in my 60's but still able to walk up stairs, however not so easily. Really, I think we should have been notified or comped in some way. At this point, it's too late. Will never book there again.

It was convenient to downtown where we wanted to be, but other than that, it was just ok. Nothing special, beds were not comfortable, the only dining option at the hotel was extremely expensive for the area. The free breakfast was nice, but all the 'hot' food was cold. The downtown area is pretty dead, lots of closed up businesses. There are a few good bar/restaurants about a block away, but that's about it.

Good option for staying outside of Madison. Located right on the river, across the street from a street market on the Saturday morning that we were there, and a short walk from coffee shop/restaurants. Free breakfast had good selection, including fresh waffles and name brand condiments (including salsa). We also enjoyed the pool and had it all to ourselves.

The hot breakfast was great. The front desk check in and out process was easy. The room was very comfortable and roomy especially the bathroom and the bed was so comfy. I am in a wheelchair and the room accommodations were perfect. Shout out to Marisol the front desk girl was so nice and helpful with any questions we had

Breakfast eggs with cheese folded in were discussing. Hash brown potatoes were not cooked at all. Found a bluddy wash cloth stuffed by the blow dryer. A used condom wraper under air conditioner unit. Don't stay here. The check in receptionist was fantastic!

I hope this is a one off - but our breakfast was my main complaint. Our room was great, and so was the coffee bar. Our only compaint was the breakfast. We went down at 8am on a Sunday morning, to find everything literally cleaned out and not replenished. When they brought more in, it was ice cold (should have been steaming). We got breakfast on the go.

The hotel and grounds are very nice. Perfect for a Friday night and to go to Janesville Farmers Market on Saturday morning. Breakfast area is very tight and the 1 lady working could use help from Front Desk to keep coffee made-she did a great job with food!

Staff very friendly & attentive! Breakfast was delicious w/many options which changed by day. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate station was a wonderful treat w/many options & was always available which helped warm you up considering the cold weather outside!

I’m an absolute Cobblestone fan. Room is comfortable. Center of town, very safe, makes it so fun to walk out in the evening to a local bar or restaurant. Great included breakfast. Coffee available at all times. Wide open free parking. Love this place!

Room was clean. Not enough wash cloths, asked staff, said there weren’t anymore. Then said they were in the dryer. They did bring some eventually. Breakfast was lukewarm. Staff at front desk was not friendly.

There were just a lot of things lacking for this stay. The AC in the room was very noisy. There was no soap by the bathroom sink. The breakfast buffet was below average. There was a toaster ready for use, but nothing to toast in it. We asked the staff and they had no bread or bagels or anything. The only real positive was that the hotel was only four blocks from the venue we were at for the weekend, otherwise I probably would not stay here again.
