Great on the beach, a lot of sitting, fire pits on the beach. Very relaxing Saw beautiful sunrise from the beach. Only issues were the parking. Hard to get out once parked but we made it work. Only suggestions would be blackout curtains in Room 13 as the outside lights from cabin in the middle shine in the room all night.

Nice spot right on the water. They provide wood for fires on the beach that was a nice touch. Clean rooms. The place looks older outside but still nice enough. Downtown is a five-10 minute Drive.

The cabin is adorable. Very clean. Staff helpful and nice. Love the 2 firepits they have. All the seating ourside. Swings. Sun chairs. A playset. Bbq grills everywhere. I will definitely be staying here again

It was a cool, funky place. Probably built in the 70s and redone Jimmy Buffett style with tropical pastel colors and beach themed bric a brac throughout. It was set up to be communal (although I was too tired to socialize much). There were two fire pits, kayaks to rent and free beach toys like noodles to borrow. What I loved most was the beach itself. Pretty much all sand with clear waters ( for any Lake Michigan snob who looks down on Lake Huron for being too rocky, and it is at spots, you need to visit Tawas which has excellent beaches). Anyway, my only gripe is it was a bit pricey at over $200 but prices are up everywhere these days and this place does have a great beach. The rooms were pretty clean too and the bed was comfy. Overall I'd give this 4 stars. Not overly fancy but very cozy and comfy.

Decent place on the water. Staff are friendly and helpful. Spacious, cottage feel. Only complaints were the gravel parking lot not motorcycle friendly, the shower stall is too small and the shower head too low, and the bathroom wall under the sink was filthy.

We only stayed for one night. The website says check in is 5pm which I thought was a bit late. They did contact us a couple hours early and let us check in which was a nice surprise. The beach is so cute. My five year old played for hours. We didn’t get to utilize the fire pits but I thought that was such a nice feature. The cabin has everything you could need for your stay. The resort seemed to be about half full but we didn’t hear any noises throughout the night. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because there was a lot of stains on the top blanket on the bed. It made me slightly nervous for the quality of the cleaning.

Number 4 cottage needs a lot of updating! No hangers to hang clothes. We didn't feel comfortable sitting on the sofa due to a huge stain, thankfully I had a cover to place over it. The ground are nice, but the beach chairs are very old and worn. Needs a good power washing.

The manager was extremely welcoming and nice. We arrived at the property late and he had the heater and the lights on for us. The cabin had everything we needed and the grounds are lovely. The unit we stayed in (cabin 3) looks like it got updated recently. The only reason I did not give this a 10/10 is because the units are a tad too small. But, to be fair, the unit was never misrepresented.

Paradise beach is a great name as the beach is fantastic! For us the small cabin was a bit small with no room outside of bed in bedrooms. The cabin was quaint, and cute but just a little bit small for us. The kitchen was furnished, and everything worked as it should. We would definitely stay there again for the beach, but pack a little different in smaller bags, etc.

The check-in process was good and people friendly, however my shower did not work. The handle to turn it on was not attached and impossible to use my fingers to get the temperature to anything other than extremely hot or cold. I called after trying for 15-20 minutes and knew they would not be able to do anything at that time so took a cold shower and asked for some kind of compensation. I spoke directly to a man, left a voice message, emailed and left a note to contact me before I dropped off my key to leave. No one responded and it’s now been 1.5 weeks since my stay. I felt this was in poor taste. They got their nightly rent, therefore my lack of comfort was not important. It’s labeled as a resort but it’s a motel. The review would have been much better with even a call to apologize.

Way over priced. Old furniture, run down cabin like it has not been updated for many years, including cabinetry, windows, paint, TV, etc. Wanted to get coffee creamer at 8 15 AM, but no one at the office. Had to walk through spider web to get into the cabin. For that much money I could have stayed at the hotel 200 yards away.

Loved the view of the water. But I am handicapped, so I did not realize that there was no parking in front of our cabin, and the sidewalk is not smooth so that was difficult. The toilets are very low and that’s difficult when you have bad hips or knees. It was very small. The reclining chair did not work even though it had a remote. The good news was the beds were very comfortable and the pillows were very good. I think it would be more fun in the summer when you can get outside more it’s not for a lot of people because it was so small.

the bedroom is so small, bed takes up most of room, door won't shut because bed is in way. I ran into bed frame multiple times bruising my leg up. Bathroom flooring slips down by sink and part of flooring rips up. Stubbed toe. Couch is old and not fluffy. Tv controller channel piece needs to be clicked multiple times to change channel. The girl working counter was very nice and gave recommendations to restaurants and sites to see.

I really enjoyed my time there, it was exactly what you expect from a Michigan cottage. The resort is under be ownership, I hasn’t stayed the whole it was under previous the previous owners. Lou was great he made sure everything was taken care of they went above and beyond.

The check-in process was good and people friendly, however my shower did not work. The handle to turn it on was not attached and impossible to use my fingers to get the temperature to anything other than extremely hot or cold. I called after trying for 15-20 minutes and knew they would not be able to do anything at that time so took a cold shower and asked for some kind of compensation. I spoke directly to a man, left a voice message, emailed and left a note to contact me before I dropped off my key to leave. No one responded and it’s now been 1.5 weeks since my stay. I felt this was in poor taste. They got their nightly rent, therefore my lack of comfort was not important. It’s labeled as a resort but it’s a motel. The review would have been much better with even a call to apologize.

Management went out of their way to make it a great experience for my family. Beach is wonderful and clean . Service and cleaning was phenomenal. Will definitely stay there again

The place we stayed at was fantastic. I spent the weekend there with five of my friends and it was a great experience. We had plenty of room to sleep with the two king beds, three twin beds, a futon and a couch. The kitchen was very convenient for when we got hungry and didn’t want to leave the house. Lou, the person we rented the house from, made the stay a good one. He gave me his personal cell number and was very flexible with our check in and check out time. He also gave us a house tour and provided us with information about what was happening in the area. Lou was very nice and added to the quality of our trip.

Lou was a very kind, helpful and great prior to, during and after our stay. The home was cute, comfortable and nicely stocked with plates, towels and kitchen necessities. Though the linens on the pull out couch needed to be removed prior to use and the floors had some debris left behind, the courteousness of the staff, early check in, accommodation and kindness made it a for sure return spot for us. I assume low ratings come from mismatch furniture or the location maybe being more ideal for “elderly” clients not liking some things; but I found it cute, comfortable and charming. Literally steps from a beach, free firewood and pit, a little slide and swing for little ones was a bonus. Though the shower fixtures need an upgrade and some tweaking (which my plumber husband and I will be offering to help with next stay btw), After a horrible winter storm and seeking safe haven, Lou provided a well needed safe space for my family and we are unbelievably grateful and thrilled to stay again this summer.

Was told cant check in till 5 on email. If i would have looked closer i wouldnt have chose because of that. Was contacted at 6pm from a man saying he had to take his daughter to birthday dinner, when are we going to be there! We waited past the time to give them more time and no one was there. After a couple calls they answered and seemed annoyed. My wife is handicapped and can barely walk. Once i checked in i was told i get 1 parking spot number 5. She hands me the keys, only for me to walk out to my parking space full. We never had a parking space till right before checking out. Out side of every cabin, the walk way is blocked for you to safely walk down. Beach area was a disaster. No idea what belonged to the motel, guests or neighbors. I hoped it was because of a long weekend. Woke up to it even worse this morning. Maybe for some they would enjoy. I would not recommend this to a couple looking for a place to travel

The manager was extremely welcoming and nice. We arrived at the property late and he had the heater and the lights on for us. The cabin had everything we needed and the grounds are lovely. The unit we stayed in (cabin 3) looks like it got updated recently. The only reason I did not give this a 10/10 is because the units are a tad too small. But, to be fair, the unit was never misrepresented.

Great on the beach, a lot of sitting, fire pits on the beach. Very relaxing Saw beautiful sunrise from the beach. Only issues were the parking. Hard to get out once parked but we made it work. Only suggestions would be blackout curtains in Room 13 as the outside lights from cabin in the middle shine in the room all night.

Nice spot right on the water. They provide wood for fires on the beach that was a nice touch. Clean rooms. The place looks older outside but still nice enough. Downtown is a five-10 minute Drive.

We really enjoyed staying at Paradise Beach. While the town is quite small, there are still places around to get food and places to hang out. The room was clean, but could use a bit of updating…. Which I believe they are in the process of doing. The private beach access is amazing!

the bedroom is so small, bed takes up most of room, door won't shut because bed is in way. I ran into bed frame multiple times bruising my leg up. Bathroom flooring slips down by sink and part of flooring rips up. Stubbed toe. Couch is old and not fluffy. Tv controller channel piece needs to be clicked multiple times to change channel. The girl working counter was very nice and gave recommendations to restaurants and sites to see.

Rooms clean, nice kitchen area with stove, refrigerator, table, pull out couch in the room that had 2 bedrooms. Loved the beach, firepit and wood provided. Kayak's available for use. Close to Walmart and downtown Tawas City.

Rooms clean, double bed rooms have kitchen with stove all pots and pans, plates and silverware. Great place to camp, but with AC and a bed. Beautiful beach, fire pit with wood provided, kayaks available to use. Play structure for the kids and corn hole. I will definitely stay there again when in Tawas.

Bed bugs! Light fixtures with exposed wires hanging out of the wall right at the top of the bed. Bathroom wasn't clean. Not a good experience at all and definitely not worth the money. Was extremely disappointing.

Everything was provided in the kitchen. If you take cream or sugar in your coffee you would want to bring that We had plenty of towels and TP It was such a welcoming place with so much character. Very clean inside and out. Will definitely visit again.

the rooms were very clean everything was furnished in kitchenettes, beach was awesome good campfires friendly staff good parking nothing at all negative about this camp site it does not need any improvements, why mess with perfection. and thats what this place was, nothing but perfection i would recomment this to anyone in which i already have
