Excellent room and bathroom with wonderful view although has to pay more for this so made it pricey. No air con and not being able to open window more than a couple of inches means it could be very hot . The main problem was live music in pub below on Friday night which we hadn't been told about . Even with TV on full very difficult to drown out, although it did stop at 10.30pm. Food relatively cheap which helped!

Beautiful bar and restaurant area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is beautiful, clean and well presented. Food was good and a good selection available. Really can't fault it and already recommended it to family and friends.

It is situated in The Port area but don't let that put you off. The area has been regenerated. There are Park facilities nearby and the hotel is just a short walk/drive to beaches. All staff were helpful and smiley! Pricing of food & drink is okay. Most areas were clean and fresh and there was off street parking.

Really enjoyed our brief visit to Blyth. Check in was really quick and easy, room on the first floor was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We arrived and left when it was dark outside so no need for a water new. We enjoyed a couple of drinks in the bar, bar staff were great. Breakfast was great too.

Had to wait a while before someone came to check us in. Room opposite left trays outside room at 3pm still there at 9am next morning. Our room was above entrance and at 7 am they turn on loud music just in the entrance porch.

We enjoyed our stay in a very comfortable, well appointed room. Breakfast was excellent. The only two negatives was the lack of a set of towels in the bathroom and young lady checking us in. She spoke all the right words without a smile or feeling. Other than that the sea facing room made up for that.

rooms spotless ,staff very friendly, foods is very good , I always try and stop here when working in the area, price does seam to change quite a bit, sometimes best to wait untill last minute to get a better deal.

Hotel check in is not great, screens to check in and had to get someone for help as didn’t work - even though completed online before arrival. Was given a free drink pass on basis of not wanting my room cleaned in between my 2 day visit. Breakfast wasn’t great and evening meal was poor. Hotel room very noisy, you heard everything. Didn’t sleep well at all. Doors slam loudly and you can hear doors from everywhere all day and night!

We loved our stay here. The staff were exceptionally helpful and cheerful. We had a balcony room with a lovely view to the harbour. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The only small issue we had was that the taps were a hard to turn on and off in our room. Great selection for breakfast and dinner.

The hotel was conveniently located as we were visiting family in Blyth. Booked our room online and for some reason gave us a disability room. Spoke with Ellie who checked us in and we quickly arranged another room for us which was a balcony room which was lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Nice modern hotel with excellent rooms: mine had a spectacular view out to sea. I was pleased to discover that the hotel was quiet although busy. The staff were very pleasant and attended in a professional manner. The food, unfortunately, I thought was disappointing although very keenly priced. Food service was lacking a bit of professionalism. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I would return.

The hotel was very nice. Clean and modern. Our room was lovely. Top floor, corner unit with a balcony. Couldn't have picked better if we'd been given an option. Breakfast was lovely. The only fault was the pretty grim evening meal. Overpriced & not good. My "chicken" was also I think sliced Turkey in a questionable sauce. My Husbands Steak was very tiny, & he got one mushroom & one tomato with it & chips. But I would certainly stay here again B&B.

We booked a twin room (husband and wife) We were allocated a disabled room with double bed. The sink in the bathroom was very low (obviously to allow wheelchair users easy access) and somewhat inconvenient. The key cards repeatedly failed to unlock the room door and required resetting often. Breakfast ordered then forgotten about, we had to chase it up and reorder. The bar staff were mediocre at best too busy chatting amongst themselves. For the price (£387 for 3 nights) I would have expected much better.

The room and the hotel were very nice, the slight downside came when we tried to check in and had to do that via an automated AI system which wasn’t particularly user friendly and long winded especially as I had already given my details when I booked,it didn’t give adequate instruction re: keys and staff at desk/bar seemed very occupied in other areas and not wanting to help. A human being checking in would have made all the difference . Tea and coffee in room weren’t good quality.

Was ready to give this place 5 stars until the poor organisation of the breakfast offer. Hotel guests intermingle with walk in customers and there's no signage as to where you should ideally sit or how to order i.e. if you have breakfast included, you're directed to a menu that has prices on it which you have to order from the bar, that during our morning, was frequently unmanned. Very easy to sort these bits to make guests feel more welcome.

Hotel check in is not great, screens to check in and had to get someone for help as didn’t work - even though completed online before arrival. Was given a free drink pass on basis of not wanting my room cleaned in between my 2 day visit. Breakfast wasn’t great and evening meal was poor. Hotel room very noisy, you heard everything. Didn’t sleep well at all. Doors slam loudly and you can hear doors from everywhere all day and night!

My room was lovely, as was the view as I had a room at the front with a balcony. The food however was absolutely awful. I gave up on the cooked breakfast and just had a muffin and coffee on the last day. Evening meals in the restaurant were terrible. My advice is to eat out.

Brilliant hotel, unfortunately the food let it down. We had an evening meal wigh over cooked mixed grill and cold and the breakfast came cold. Definitely not worth eating here. Which is a huge shame as the hotel rooms are fantastic.

The hotel is nice and worth a stay, though a little overpriced. Just do not eat in the restaurant as the food is garbage and way overpriced and that's not just me saying that having spoken to others. That said it's within a few hundred yards of several pubs and restaurants which are decent, particularly the Asmara which we thought was excellent.

The hotel has a great view over the estuary and North sea. Bar all very nicely kitted out, quite atmospheric. Room size good, bathroom and shower good, bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly, but prone to having a chat rather than watching out for new arrivals at the bar. Food quite average, and my brown and mushy chips returned, along with the rest of my meal in the middle of the night.

The hotel was very nice. Clean and modern. Our room was lovely. Top floor, corner unit with a balcony. Couldn't have picked better if we'd been given an option. Breakfast was lovely. The only fault was the pretty grim evening meal. Overpriced & not good. My "chicken" was also I think sliced Turkey in a questionable sauce. My Husbands Steak was very tiny, & he got one mushroom & one tomato with it & chips. But I would certainly stay here again B&B.

We liked the sea view but the balcony dripped from above. Bed was comfy although the springs along the side had gone. It was quiet apart from the banging doors. Breakfast was very good with no complaints.

It’s very rare that I can say I cannot fault a weekend stay, in fact this may be a first. Perfect but be aware the beaches are a trek and don’t plan to enjoy the town.

Our room was lovely, it would have been nice not to look out on the car park, but sea view rooms were more expensive. All facilities were in place - kettle, teas, coffee, biscuits- Ringtons ginger biscuits, yum. Iron and ironing board, plenty of plug points at the bedside. We also had a standing fan that we used, as the room was very warm- no air con, but it keep us cool whilst sleeping. I showered and washed my hair the next morning, then discovered that there was no hairdryer!! So had to let it dry naturally and go to breakfast with damp hair. That said had I have known there wasn't a hairdryer before I washed my hair, I could have requested one from reception. The breakfast was very nice we, both (me and the hubby), had a full English and really enjoyed it. The previous evening we had food there and we were both very happy with our meals. We really enjoyed our stay.

My room was lovely. Modern, clean and comfortable. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and they also offer a packed lunch. Bar and restaurant very nice. I would definitely stay again.
