This place was unsafe with door latch broken and rooms where dirty not clean well hair was everywhere and dead bugs in corners and hair in the fridge. Smells like mold. Toilet broken. Ice machine is in the other facility across the street with no information where about. Just feel like price is way to high for a place to be like this.

The staff were very nice. The room was okay, although it really needs to be painted. The carpet seemed new, but the furniture is very old. Double beds are really small. Bed sheets were clean and towels too. Very close to the beach and restaurants and grocery stores. It's convenient enough for the price that we paid ! What I liked was that we had the choice of going to the inside or outside pool. I preferred the outside pool, it was much cleaner.

It was great, my son and boyfriend liked the pool. We weren’t up there for pleasure unfortunately but for my brother’s celebration of life. But it was a really nice place!

Pretty dumpy, the indoor pool should have been open but wasn’t, keys wouldn’t work and it was a hassle getting new ones since the office is at a different place across the busy street.

Would highly, highly recommend for an affordable motel. After reading some mixed reviews, I must say far exceeded expectations!! Room was HUGE, clean, comfy beds, even had a good size kitchenette. The only cons, it is a bit older if you're fussy, check in is across the street (not busy at all as others stated), and the pool area, again older... but no towels or any chairs to use. Overall, if you're on a budget, and want family friendly in the Old Orchard or Portland area, certainly consider here!

We refused the room. Run down, dirty, furniture run down with the finish peeling of the table. Roomed reeked of pot. Overall it seemed like a run down residence motel. Can’t imagine why Hotels.com would ever list such a place!

This was by far the most unsanitary hotel I have ever step foot on! Extremely dirty, uncomfortable and noisy. After spending an entire day at the beach we didn't feel like driving back home. Booked last minute and did check in at 10pm. It was only for a night so I thought it should be fine and safe since I was booking from a reputable site, and by being a little over $200 a night it would be at least decent. And we were exausted with 2 teens. The walls, carpet and door were extremely dirty. I lysol wiped the entire bathroom before using. This morning when I was stripping the beds I found OLD BLOOD STAIN on the pillow. Absolutely disgusting. Try to talk to a manager and he was unavailable. The lady who I did my check out barely spoke english and kept saying its okay when I was pointing the issues. DO NOT STAY THERE! EVEN IF IS FREE OF CHARGE!

Sorry to leave a poor review but the room had a very intense odor resembling vomit. It was very unpleasant. The bed was comfortable but had cigarette burns in the comforter. I will not be returning.

Loud road out front of the motel. Rooms are old but clean, beds are ok but not great. Other patrons line the sidewalks smoking since smoking isn’t permitted in rooms. Doors and walls appear to be thin as with the road noise plus heard other rude guests being loud most of the night. Way over priced for what this motel is. Close to nice neighborhood, grocery store & dining options.

Check un was simple and staff was personable. Room requests were met effortlessly. Close to local grocery store and OOB. Safe location. Basic accomodations but clean! Only thing lacking was a coffee maker in the rooms. Otherwise, great stay!

It was disappointing from the start. We had to cross over traffic to register at their sister motel. It shows a picture of an indoor pool…none! No coffee maker! I have traveled a lot and even the worst places have a coffeemaker. Place wasn’t very clean, and walls were paper thin, so we could hear other room. Carpet stained. Then cockroaches were there. I didn’t dare shower. The only plus is it was handicapped. Then they didn’t serve coffee in the lobby. We had to buy coffee on our way homeward. Both of us were disappointed.

it was convenient, comfortable and quiet, on a side road close to highway. There was a fridge and microwave in room, though no coffee maker. several restaurants nearby, within walking distance. this was great for an overnight stay as we travelled.

Would highly, highly recommend for an affordable motel. After reading some mixed reviews, I must say far exceeded expectations!! Room was HUGE, clean, comfy beds, even had a good size kitchenette. The only cons, it is a bit older if you're fussy, check in is across the street (not busy at all as others stated), and the pool area, again older... but no towels or any chairs to use. Overall, if you're on a budget, and want family friendly in the Old Orchard or Portland area, certainly consider here!

Ok room, old school furniture and carpets.So-so water pressure. We were only there for one night so it was okay. Fridge had a little freezer compartment which was useful for us.

Check un was simple and staff was personable. Room requests were met effortlessly. Close to local grocery store and OOB. Safe location. Basic accomodations but clean! Only thing lacking was a coffee maker in the rooms. Otherwise, great stay!

This was the worst place in old Orchard Beach that I have ever stayed! I’ve been going there for decades and stayed at dozens of different places and this place is terrible! I am very disappointed because their reviews seemed like it was a decent place for a good price. But in this case you do get what you pay for! Should’ve known when it said nonrefundable also. First of all when we went into our room, we were extremely disappointed with the cleanliness because there wasn’t any! Then, when I opened the bedsheets, I saw a live pincher bug inside the bed. We immediately went to the office and they showed us another room, which was slightly better, but still disgusting. If you’re looking for a comfortable clean place to stay, this is not it. There were layers of dirt on stuff. Looks like things have not been wiped down for probably years. I would suggest trying a different place.

The room was clean, but smelled of stale smoke. They were smoke free rooms. There were burn marks on the bathroom sink and night stand and the table in the room. No one ever came to the room in a 3 night stay for New towels or toilet paper. The heat worked fine. The microwave was dirty and the shower curtain had mold on it. I wiped everything down with a clorox wipes. My door had no dead bolt on it. It was broken. On the last night my neighbors were arguing all night. I was scared but eventually fell asleep. They sat right outside the door to smoke which came into my room. Property States there are designated smoking areas. I don't think outside my door was one of them. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were ok. The blanket was thin. I think painting the stair case and the benches and sanding or getting new furniture to replace the ones with burn marks would be a good idea. And replacing the mismatched welcome mats that are very worn and ripped up would help also. Maybe screen the people staying there. I'm pretty sure my neighbors were addicts. Also the van with the Mississippi plates that looks abandoned was not so nice for curbside appeal. I wasn't expecting perfection for the price. But i was truly concerned about mine and my sons safety. I used to love in the area. Thank God i had friends close my who stayed with me while my son was off visiting friends.
