The room was well maintained, quiet and very clean. All amenities I look for were present (refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, adequate free parking.) Breakfast was varied and bountiful. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is very nice and clean. Our room was comfortable and the shower huge. Breakfast had a lot to choose from like waffles, cereal, muffins, bagels, oatmeal, bacon, eggs, fruit, yogurt. The coffee is actually really good. Some hotels have watered down less than satisfactory coffee. Fairfield’s was robust. The fitness center was very accommodating. It has 2 weight benches and treadmills as well as dumbells. I like that is has towels available and a water machine with very tasty water. We were able to watch the 4th of July fireworks from The hotel parking lot. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff (Front desk, maids, etc). Enjoyed the free breakfast, way better than most! Indoor pool was nice! (Needed to be warmer though) location was ok, it was cold so it was a challenging walking into main shopping area!

The hotel is clean and comfortable, with plenty of parking. The pool is small, ,and not quite "heated," but tolerable. The hotel is about a half mile from downtown Helen, and there are sidewalks for the entire walk.

First, the girl at the front desk was very nice. The hotel is disappointing. Had to walk back out to the car to hang a tag on the mirror? No pool or gym, both being renovated. Few snacks available at ridiculous cost. First time ever in a hotel where there was no bottled water in the room!

The room was overall clean but there was one large bug on the wall near the door inside the room. The room above us was very loud and stomping all night until the morning. The hotel is also a 10-15 min walk from the middle of town.

Very disappointed. Our room was not cleaned well. There was a handprint on the full length mirror which I thought I might have done but it was still there after the room was cleaned the next day. There was dirt on the carpet that was still there the next day. The A/C was set to 60 degrees and took a while to get comfortable the glass shower had splashes of soap and soap scum at the top of the glass shower wall and I reported it to mgmt and it was cleaned the next day The drape had come undone near the pull rod and we could not close it properly and light came into the room and made it difficult to sleep also in my profile, I asked for foam pillows and had feather ones I asked for them to be changed and they were but the pillows were foam pieces. Breakfast the first day had some items missing that were there the second day, namely fresh- cut fruit and yogurt, healthier options rather than fruit cocktail cup All in all, this was a very unpleasant experience. The staff by the way were friendly, efficient and handled my issues speedily

There was no internet or wi-fi; according to the desk it had not been available for two days. very disrespecful person at desk. Only one chair in the room, not enough towels and wash cloths. They were made available upon request however. The bathroom has no exhaust, making it awful foggy when try to bathe.The only thing good: it was clean. I do not recommend this property, they don't seem to care about making their guest comfortable.

Sofabed needs to be replaced…the springs in the mattress were very uncomfortable. Also the breakfast was disappointing. The orange juice tasted like water, eggs were tasteless and runny and the muffins were dry. The evening coffee was nice but the coffee was cold. On a positive note the staff were nice.

A nice hotel and a very nice staff. We were however put off a bit by all front desk staff smoking out in front of the hotel on more that one occasion. Other than that the facilites were very nice.

The morning staff are awful and rude. The place smells like an ashtray as well as the morning staff smells of smoke also. Overpriced and not as nice as advertised online. Stay clear of this place. It has possibility only if morning staff were clean and professional.

Property was on south side of Helen. You can walk to a few places to eat but most were in the town of Helen. It is walkable but it was so hot. There is so much traffic on the main road that it moved at a snails pace.

Very clean and the rooms are vell apportioned. Easy parking and a good breakfast. About a mile from downtown Helen, so walkability is not great. But I would definitely stay there again

Very clean and quiet. Breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast. Staff was friendly. Location was a short drive or walk from the main area of Helen but i appreciated that as it was very busy and it was nice to have a place to get away from the crowd and the noise.

Smelly pillows. Stains on the tub. AC barely cold even if thermostat says 67. Refrigerator in room did not even get cold even if thermostat is set at cold. It was more of mild cool. Hot breakfast is limited. Hot food are almost out before 10 am.

Coffee in lobby was cold each time that we went to get some had to microwave it to drink. Breakfast was substandard compared to other hotels that we stayed in on our trip and the room costed a 100.00 more per night than the others. Will not stay at Fairfield again on our trips

Very expensive for the quality of the hotel. Awful breakfast, was not replenished at 9 am, even though cut off time was 10.00 am. Wouldn’t go back there.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, plenty of outlets and a full length mirror. The breakfast was great, lots of options and the staff was so wonderful and friendly. This hotel is towards the end of the town but still walkable!

Sofabed needs to be replaced…the springs in the mattress were very uncomfortable. Also the breakfast was disappointing. The orange juice tasted like water, eggs were tasteless and runny and the muffins were dry. The evening coffee was nice but the coffee was cold. On a positive note the staff were nice.

This was probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The room was very clean . The beds were comfy . The shower pressure was great and the water got really hot . We had a great experience.

At the edge of Helen, but up a hill, this location was great, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. It looked like (from the unmoved stack of building materials) there is some kind of renovation or repair in the near future. The pool is a bit small, but indoor, and great for the family that can catch it unoccupied! Breakfast (included) was much better than most. Good cross of all kinds of normal breakfast offering. If you’re a first timer to Helen, this hotel is a comfortable walk to only a few of the shops/ restaurants. Helen is very small, so it’s not like you will be driving far- but you need to know that most public parking is $10- flat rate for the hour or the day. There are some areas for free- these will be noted by a sign “City of Helen Parking”. Not always the best, but if walking is your thing, then this will be a no-brainer. I say all this because to get the full scope and character of Helen, you will probably want to drive from this hotel.
