Great location and hotel. Rooms small but exactly as advertised…funky, modern and just what was needed. Note: since covid they no longer have breakfast available, nor do they have laundry facilities available. There is a laundromat a few blocks away.

Very nice hostel with good facilities and outdoor space. The shower did leak onto the floor and it was a bit silly to ask for €20 cash as a deposit to use the iron and hairdryer (I have never had to hand over a deposit for these) as I was on my way home the next day and didn’t want to get it out in cash. I managed to convince the receptionist to give both to me without a deposit in the end! Overall really comfortable stay.

Wasn’t sure what to expect from Alameda Exclusive House, from the outside there’s nothing to give anything away but I was greeted with welcoming and friendly staff. The hotel is small but very accessible. Has a lift to all floors. The lobby is very small but there is a communal kitchen and rooftop for casual lounging. The bedroom was very small with a tiny en-suite but no issues at all. It was clean and smelt fresh. There was heating and air con and a TV. Overall a nice little gem of a place.

L’emplacement très bien. Après j’avais une petite chambre. Lit superposé. J’étais seule. Salle de bain partagée. La salle de bain petit bémol le détecteur de lumière c’est embêtant ça s’éteint en permanence. L'hôtel est très beau. Belle cuisine à partager. Très bien équipée. Deux terrasses très bien. Je le conseillerai.

They offered 24hour checkin but the person who opened for us was ckearly sleeping and was not welcoming at alll. They also charged us to store our bags. Personally if i stay at your property i believe bag storage afrer checkout should be free as was the case with many other properties i have stayed at.

This house is simply superb. Juan, Francisco and Annabel were hugely welcoming and helpful. The kitchen if fully stocked and superbly clean. The ceilings on the first floor are very high so even our bunk bed room felt spacious. Best of all was a choice of two outdoor spaces. A stunning roof terrace and a kitchen courtyard.The location is central and there is even a park opposite to run in. I would not stay anywhere else in Faro given the value for money, the welcoming staff and the central location. They were even kind enough to keep a scarf I left behind.

Amazing place to stay quiet area itself but an about 5-8 mins walk to old town ( full of shops and restaurants) and 13 mins to the marina where you can get a €4 return trip to the beach. The property its self is amazing ; roof top terrace, kitchen for use. Come and go as you please. You can acquire hair dryers and irons from reception for a €20 deposit which you get back as soon as you return the item. The airport was a short drive away and cheap via uber or bolt.

Rent, hyggelige og hjelpsomme mennesker i resepsjonen. Vi hadde en super suite perfekt for 2 voksne og 2 barn med direkte utgang til takterrasse, eget stort bad. Velfungerende aircondition i begge rom. Komfortabel seng. En måtte være litt kreativ for å få hengt opp og tørket håndklær og badehåndklær, lite knagger. Gangavstand til gamlebyen og kai med båter. Håndklærne ble ikke byttet ila opphold på 5 overnattinger, men vi kunne sikkert spurt og fått byttet dem. Stille område. Perfekt for vårt opphold. Ikke lenger frokostservering på stedet, men mange kafeer i 5 min gangavstand.

Excellent location to walk to old town Faro. Many amenities in the hotel description they don't have.Hairdryer available only with a 20 Euro deposit. There was no optional breakfast, no laundry facilities, & luggage storage simply meant place bags behind the receptionist desk. There was no one at the front desk on many occasions. Says soundproof rooms, but heard lots of stomping and door slamming. Mattress was super hard and lumpy.

Clean and 5 minute walk from the marina. “Private” balcony was just an area of the roof terrace that is open for all and had washing hanging all over it. Not a very pleasant sight. Towels were not changed at all.

Stayed two days. The shared bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned in that time. Rooms 1+2 are only separated by a shelf (or something that looked like it from the back). So we could hear everything from the other room. Location is good.

Location is good to get to Old Town and marina area. Desk clerk was impatient to the point of being rude. Bathroom ceiling was covered in mold and got zero help from the clerk. I was told to take it up with the manager in the morning, but we left at 4:30am to the airport, so that didn’t work out so well. My advice, stay away.

We choose this property for its proximity to the Festival F. To be honest the next time we visit Faro we will most likely not choose this property. The room while very clean is extremely small. The comfort of the bed is okay at best. No amenities such as a mini fridge. The friendliness of the staff varied from not welcoming to okay but not the friendliness that we typically receive. To be fair the amenities are always relative to the price and I would be fine with this property if the price was much lower than other properties with more amenities.

Tight fit for average people, few inches to squeeze around the beds in places and couldn't physically fit in the bathroom without gymnastics (6ft and 36in waist). Could only just get through the doors by turning sideways!

My stay was good and staff were helpful, room was spacious enough and clean and location was good. Just a bit noisy at night, the noise from people downstairs in the kitchen and adjacent rooms carried and took a while to get used to. But that is the only thing to note and add someone staying there on my own maybe the quietness in my own room made it more noticeable.

This place was awful, firstly, I had emailed 4 days prior my arrival to let the staff know that I would be arriving past midnight due to my flight. I was waiting outside the property and had no answer from the manager for an hour. Secondly, this hotel claims to have 24 hour front desk services however the manager is sleeping in the back or not in the building. Thirdly after asking for new towels, staff stated that this can only be provided after 3 days of check in which is disgusting, especially when the weather is so hot and doing water activities. Fourthly, house keeping do not change the bedsheets despite telling them three times. Another disappointment was the lack of toiletries, after requesting shampoo several times which was empty on our arrival, the staff still did not fill up the dispenser. The AC also was broken, the curtains do not close properly which resulted in us to wake up early every morning despite having a late night. The staff were uninterested in our concerns and dismissed us each time. AVOID THIS PLACE.

The location of the hotel is great. The rooms are big and very comfortable. The only issue is that they don’t provide almost any amenities. I asked for conditioner and body lotion and it never showed up. Not very responsive staff, otherwise the hotel is good.

welcom desk was bad, we were laught at for not having the cash in small amount for paying taxes, information where amost non existent and the info given were mostly not correct. The card holder info is not matching with what they are offering. Room was ok but not worth paying this extra for a bathroom where the shower was getting wet (towel for the floor never dried in 3 days). Not ideal for people that would like to be quiet during night. Being at the first flour you here music and everything from the flour bellow and people in the building

Arrived at midnight after a flight delay not only was hotel closed but no one even answered the phone and only found other accommodation 2hrs later. Was horrible!!!

Room was great, large windows so very bright, bed very comfortable and shower was lovely - staff on the desk was amazing, gave us a hand drawn map showing us the best places to go as he was a local, top tier service which we loved.

Clean and 5 minute walk from the marina. “Private” balcony was just an area of the roof terrace that is open for all and had washing hanging all over it. Not a very pleasant sight. Towels were not changed at all.

I enjoyed the room. It was so cozy and clean. The area it was great. Close to everything. We were able to walk to most of the places.

Good place to stay for that price. Walking distance to everything. Helpful and kind staff. Quiet area and comfortable beds. We sleept well. The shower could use an improvement, water all over the floor after showering. We would defenintily stay here again.

Great location and hotel. Rooms small but exactly as advertised…funky, modern and just what was needed. Note: since covid they no longer have breakfast available, nor do they have laundry facilities available. There is a laundromat a few blocks away.

The hotel was not as promised or in the photos. It’s a hostel, no breakfast was available, rooms are tiny and apart from towels and liquid soap there were no amenities. The floor in my room was spongy. The staff were not helpful

L’emplacement très bien. Après j’avais une petite chambre. Lit superposé. J’étais seule. Salle de bain partagée. La salle de bain petit bémol le détecteur de lumière c’est embêtant ça s’éteint en permanence. L'hôtel est très beau. Belle cuisine à partager. Très bien équipée. Deux terrasses très bien. Je le conseillerai.

This house is simply superb. Juan, Francisco and Annabel were hugely welcoming and helpful. The kitchen if fully stocked and superbly clean. The ceilings on the first floor are very high so even our bunk bed room felt spacious. Best of all was a choice of two outdoor spaces. A stunning roof terrace and a kitchen courtyard.The location is central and there is even a park opposite to run in. I would not stay anywhere else in Faro given the value for money, the welcoming staff and the central location. They were even kind enough to keep a scarf I left behind.

Amazing place to stay quiet area itself but an about 5-8 mins walk to old town ( full of shops and restaurants) and 13 mins to the marina where you can get a €4 return trip to the beach. The property its self is amazing ; roof top terrace, kitchen for use. Come and go as you please. You can acquire hair dryers and irons from reception for a €20 deposit which you get back as soon as you return the item. The airport was a short drive away and cheap via uber or bolt.

Rent, hyggelige og hjelpsomme mennesker i resepsjonen. Vi hadde en super suite perfekt for 2 voksne og 2 barn med direkte utgang til takterrasse, eget stort bad. Velfungerende aircondition i begge rom. Komfortabel seng. En måtte være litt kreativ for å få hengt opp og tørket håndklær og badehåndklær, lite knagger. Gangavstand til gamlebyen og kai med båter. Håndklærne ble ikke byttet ila opphold på 5 overnattinger, men vi kunne sikkert spurt og fått byttet dem. Stille område. Perfekt for vårt opphold. Ikke lenger frokostservering på stedet, men mange kafeer i 5 min gangavstand.

This hotel is ok if you are on the move or have an early flight. Very close to Faro airport in an urban area. More of a hostel than a hotel, pleasant enough with friendly staff, but not a destination or place to stay for more than a night.

Unfortunately my stay here was not a good one. There was no soap in any of dispensers in the bathroom. When I went to the desk to ask, the woman simply said you have to wait until tomorrow. Went down to the desk at 8:30am, no one there, so I called the number given and was told I'd have to wait until the afternoon when the cleaners come. They finally agreed to have so one come provide soap and shampoo after I explained I'd be checked out by then. The bed also had lots of hit nice things in the mattress and stains on the bed sheets. The shower had mold build up that needed addressed. And I met another girl thag literally slept in the lobby because she found bed bugs in her bed. I would not stay here again.

We stayed for one night due to our flight getting in at 10pm. We just wanted a room for the night. The superior double was compact and the mattress quite hard. There is a communal kitchen which we didn't need but would be great for young people travelling. The room was clean and fine for a 1 night stay
