Property was easy to find and plenty of free parking. Fixtures and environment of good quality and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Safe in room was broken on arrival but fixed the next day. Pool was very clean and great setting but a distinct shortage of sun beds and plenty of space to add a few more. Breakfast and dinner looked very good but expensive so caught the free local bus into Annecy with lots of options

An absolutely stunning hotel in an incredible location. The rooms and interiors are beautiful, and the setting on the lake is breathtaking — just a picturesque 40-minute walk along the water into town. The spa was wonderful, and although the weather at the end of September meant we couldn’t fully enjoy the outdoor pool, the facilities were excellent. What truly stood out was the service: the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely fantastic throughout our stay. A true 5-star experience from start to finish — we will definitely be returning!

Our stay at The Black Bass in September was superb. The staff were so friendly and polite, and couldn't do more to make us comfortable. Our room was lovely, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The outside area on the lakeside was stunning. We sat here everyday, enjoying food and wine, and taking in the breathtaking views. We used the spa too, which again was very good, clean and quiet. We cannot wait to return.

La suite vue sur le lac était magnifique ! Le SPA et la piscine sont très propre. L’équipe à l’accueil était merveilleuse ! Merci pource beau séjour, nous reviendrons sans hésitation. Nous sommes restés 3 jours dans ce bel hôtel.

Un séjour parfait, vraiment très relaxant. L’espace sauna hammam piscine est petit mais privatif sur des creneaux d’une heure ce qui est vraiment agréable ! Les massages sont top! L’endroit est superbe avec vue sur le lac, magnifique !

Très mauvais rapport qualité prix pour le petit déjeuner. Pour 35€ par personne, on s’attend à autre chose qu’un petit déjeuner classique. Idem pour le restaurant les plats sont bons mais pas à la hauteur du tarif. Les serveurs ne sont pas très réactifs. Cependant l’emplacement est top. Les chambres spacieuses et propre. Pour la piscine il manque quelques transats pour éviter les conflits entre voyageurs. Beau séjour tout de même, je recommande l’hôtel mais pas la restauration malheureusement.

L'hôtel dispose d'un SPA avec un accueil limité ce qui évite d'être trop nombreux, ce qui permet d'en profiter au maximum. Autrement les chambres sont confortables. Belle vue sur le lac et les montagnes. L'accès direct a la piste cyclable et piétonne est un vrai bonheur. Piscine extérieure proposee jusqu'à mi octobre. Cadre sublime.

Hôtel idéalement situé en bord du lac d’Annecy. Le personnel est charmant et aux petits soins, les chambres sont sublimes. L’hôtel est très beau. Nous avons pu louer des vélos pour faire le tour du lac. Nous reviendrons !

De l’extérieur, l’hôtel déçoit par son apparence, qui ne reflète pas les attentes d’un établissement 5 étoiles. Heureusement, le personnel est globalement agréable et serviable. Le véritable point fort réside dans la beauté et le confort des chambres, qui sont impeccables. En revanche, le spa est une déception : petit, avec un accès limité à une heure par jour, ce qui semble insuffisant compte tenu du prix du séjour. La piscine, quant à elle, est trop chlorée, ce qui peut être inconfortable pour les personnes sensibles. Le petit-déjeuner offre une belle vue depuis la salle, mais pour 35 € par personne, la prestation reste en deçà des attentes pour un hôtel de ce standing. Pendant notre séjour, le restaurant était fermé, nous laissant comme seule option des snacks au prix excessif (frites surgelées, service lent, etc.). Wir waren im Oktober zwei Nächte im Hotel Black Bass. Den Aufenthalt haben wir total genossen. Das Essen im Restaurant und die Bedienung waren hervorragend. Alles war sehr sauber und das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich.

We stayed as a couple, in one of the lake view rooms. The room was a bit small for a double room, but the view more than made up for that. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, but not too involved in our stay (in a good way). The hotel is 45 minutes walk from Annecy, along a very safe path. The hotel hire e-bikes, and this was a highlight for us as we rode around the lake - 4 hours to do approx 40KM. We aren't bike people but this was so good! Views to die for

Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. The staff were amazing when we had car problems and had to make last minute changes. The lakeside suite we had was perfect in every regard

The spa was wonderful, and although the weather at the end of September meant we couldn’t fully enjoy the outdoor pool, the facilities were excellent. What truly stood out was the service: the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely fantastic throughout our stay. A true 5-star experience from start to finish — we will definitely be returning!

Our stay at The Black Bass in September was superb. The staff were so friendly and polite, and couldn't do more to make us comfortable. Our room was lovely, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The outside area on the lakeside was stunning. We sat here everyday, enjoying food and wine, and taking in the breathtaking views. We used the spa too, which again was very good, clean and quiet. We cannot wait to return.

Nous nous attendions à un 5 étoiles comme indiqué sur le site, mais ça ne vaut pas plus qu’un 3 étoiles. Les serveurs sont débraillés et cependant sympathiques, le jus d’orange du petit déjeuner est un faux jus d’orange, et surtout il était annoncé que le petit déjeuner était offert et nous avons dû payer 35 € par personne pour un petit déjeuner qui n’est pas digne d’un 5 étoiles . Très mauvais rapport qualité prix pour le petit déjeuner. Pour 35€ par personne, on s’attend à autre chose qu’un petit déjeuner classique. Idem pour le restaurant les plats sont bons mais pas à la hauteur du tarif. Les serveurs ne sont pas très réactifs. Cependant l’emplacement est top. Les chambres spacieuses et propre. Pour la piscine il manque quelques transats pour éviter les conflits entre voyageurs. Beau séjour tout de même, je recommande l’hôtel mais pas la restauration malheureusement.

We stayed as a couple, in one of the lake view rooms. The room was a bit small for a double room, but the view more than made up for that. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, but not too involved in our stay (in a good way). The hotel is 45 minutes walk from Annecy, along a very safe path. The hotel hire e-bikes, and this was a highlight for us as we rode around the lake - 4 hours to do approx 40KM. We aren't bike people but this was so good! Views to die for

Such a cute boutique hotel! A little bit outside of the main town it was nice and quiet and on the water. The service was great with little things such as offering food upon our arrival since we were getting in late, and nightly turn down service.

Séjour mitigé. Restaurant excessif pour un plat onglet trop cuit (demandé saignant) et de la semoule sèche. Pain de truite étant un flan de truite. Manque d’élaboration des plats. Attente longue le midi pour le snacking. Soucis en cuisine semble t’il. Petit déjeuner ne valant pas 35 euros loin de là. Et que dire des personnes qui pensent être en club et laisser leurs serviettes toute la journée sans être présentes sur les transats en bord de piscine. Pour un 5 étoiles il serait bon d’établir des règles. Personnel charmant par contre. Dommage en tous cas.

Rooms are ok, localization is ok if you accept to walk to the old city. The problem is bar and restaurant price... I understand that food and drinks in a 5 stars hotels are always a little bit over priced but one corona beer at 14 euros i think its too much. Restaurant is not at a 5 stars level at all...restaurant price is also completely overpriced for what it is. So, to summarize I would recommend a 4 star like novotel or mercur instead of blackbass for half the price. And definitely i do not recommend the restaurant and bar.

Wir waren im Oktober zwei Nächte im Hotel Black Bass. Den Aufenthalt haben wir total genossen. Das Essen im Restaurant und die Bedienung waren hervorragend. Alles war sehr sauber und das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich.

We found the Black Bass resort on Expedia and came from Geneva for a few days as a family. It was outstanding from all perspectives and we would love to come back. The restaurant served delicious fish from the lake, an excellent (if expensive) breakfast and the staff was helpful, friendly and spoke English. We loved the spa and the indoor pool as well as the beautiful views from the outdoor pool. The landscaping is exquisite and our teenaged son enjoyed the setting as much as the adults! We took the free tourist bus (15A) into the village of Sevrier and enjoyed a local breakfast and lots of shopping for regional delicacies. The staff was helpful in guiding us to a boulangerie there. Overall, while this property was not cheap, we felt every penny was well spent. Highly recommend (especially for families).

Lovely place to stay and enjoy the area. Great for accessing the lake and Annecy itself. There is a gate at the bottom of the garden that opens onto the Lake Annecy cycle/ footpath. Beyond this, down a small slope, is the shallow shore of the lake with plenty of access points for swimming or using the hotel paddle boards . The staff were very friendly and helpful. We wanted for nothing and hopefully will be able to return again.
