Dated for sure. But the rooms are clean and better then expected cir the price. Pool table is a nice option in tbe open rec area. Overall good place. Only thing lacking is security pads at main entrances. There is ample cameras though.

No accessible ice machine, waited over 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk so they could get the ice which only the can. Ridiculous. And the pool was filled in so the kids couldnt swim. The lobby stunk & looked dirty. Surprisingly the room was clean but the bed was like a rock.

Not even a cup in the bathroom for brushing my teeth! No readily available ice (you have to ask for it at the unattended front desk). One tiny cooler of soft drinks on the honor system. I didn’t bother looking for coffee the next morning- I just hit the road.

This is an older place that has had some updates. Although it's not a luxury stay, you cannot beat the price and thr rooms are clean and and spacious. The property is huge with lots of walking space and large pet area, well lit at night. Conveniently located. Friendly staff.

Had to wait several minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to check in. Deadbolt on our room door would not lock. No plastic cups in the room. Ice machine was not working. Good price and reasonably clean. Would stay again based on price and it not being a terrible experience.

Google said they had a gym, but they don't. However, the staff was great, rooms were nice and clean, great locations with lots of food options nearby. I would definitley stay there again.

Lessons learned if a hotel posts a sign saying "all payments final" turnaround and leave; good reviews can be bought. First floor room we were given smelled of mold, investigating found a ceiling panel completely bulging and saturated with water. You could see evidence of this in common areas of the hotel where ceiling panels obviously got wet and broke exposing fiberglass insulation. Front desk person, unapologetic and unsurprised by the situation, gave us a new room on the second floor. Better in that it did not smell as bad as the first room and rest of the hotel (which is a mix of strong bad cleaning product, cigarette smoke and I suspect mold). As I sat in the room I became more and more disgusted realizing that there was black body hair all over the bedspreads, bath mat and shower. Didn't feel like bathroom had been cleaned, (ther than toilet) sink and vanity still dirty. Bathroom door has someone's toothpaste spit on it. Towels and sheets literally rag status. And then the Roaches - on the dresser, wall, bathroom, floor. Couldn't get out of this place fast enough. Not sure how this place is not shut down by some sort of inspection, definitely don't understand how people are rating it "exceptional".

Only gave 1 star because I can't give 0. I wish I would have taken more pics. This place is NOTHING like it makes it out to be. Yes, it was a cheap stay but I don't even think I got what we paid for. We had a total of 3 rooms between us. One of them was smelly, one of them had roaches and none of them were CLEAN. The towels were stained. The non-smoking areas were DRENCHED in smoke. Hair in the tub, even the toilet paper holders were rusty and dirty! I was FULLY clothed when sleeping and didn't sleep too well. The room across the hall from me was ALWAYS partially open and there was trash sitting outside the room next to me for 2 days we were there. Nothing was clean! The woman at the front desk was not friendly. The ceilings above the cement filled pool were about to cave in and the non-working ice machines looks like a health hazard. I have NO idea how ANYONE gave this place more than one star. KEEP DRIVING! DO NOT STAY HERE! Not until they start charging a little more a night and put money into the property. I supposed they mean well? Comes off LAZY.

Room and bed seemed clean. But we killed two little cockroaches in the bathroom. We stayed three nights, we never had someone come to clean or at least change our towels not even once. We were never told of that was upon request.

When I checked in she said that I should not have been able to book online. I understood why when I entered the room. It was obvious by the odor they had a sewage back up. When she went to check she said the room was fine but she was so wrong. As you can see in the pictures the bathtub was full of dirt and what looked like chunks of fecal matter. While there i killed 6 cockroaches, double checked all my bags to make sure none got into my stuff and i left. I wish hotels.ca still had a number to call to request a refund and tell them this place should not be listed.

This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There was no one available to check us in. I looked all over the hotel to find someone to check me in. I rang the bell several times and visited with another guest who said she hadn't seen anybody at the check in desk for over an hour. Finally, a lady comes out and is extremely rude because I had awakened her from her sleep to check me in. I have never been treated in a more unprofessional manner. Our hotel room had no hot water so we couldn't take a shower. The stool ran and ran and wouldn't stop. The microwave was dirty. We found a staple in the carpet and a red sequin on the sheets. The bathroom fan was very loud. We were told it was a non smoking hotel and yet there was a horrible odor from cigarette smoke. The towels were old and scratchy. Someone knocked on our door two different times and then ran away. There was no one available to talk to about this issue. The room appeared unkept and had a definite odor. We had difficulty sleeping because we were worried about the cleanliness of the room.

The place was run down and filthy. Only half the lights worked on the room and the heater was broken. The room looked like it had never been cleaned. There was human hair everywhere and grim along all the walls. Dead cockaroches in the sink and I saw them running across the floor. Had to sleep ontop of the comforter because bed was made with dirty sheets. wouldn't recommend it anyone

The staff was rude and the room had cokroaches in it and the room had a weird unpleasant smell in there. Plus i dont think yhey ever check in the fridge because there was a half gallon milk that was like it turned into cottage cheese yuke. I will never stay in this disgusting place 😤 again. Ir was filthy with very rude management.

This was definitely a “unique experience”. Our room was comfortable. Our check in was fast. And the price is unbeatable. But there’s also a little bit of “get what you pay for”. Ceilings were in disrepair in the bathroom. Efforts to mop the floor had been done, but still a pile of hair and dirt in the corner. Rooms smelled recently bleached and beds were comfortable (good) but marks on walls and outdated fixtures and features were hard to miss. Would definitely stay here again, just felt that some of the other reviews were a bit too generous.

All in all it was a good stay. Staff is very nice. The only two things I wasn’t so crazy about was that you couldn’t make the air conditioner stay on continuously, meaning sometimes it was very quiet and still. The walls are thin and I could hear people in their rooms clearing their throats or coughing in the middle of the night

I was extremely unsatisfied with this hotel and location. There is no way it should have the rating it does. The security door from the parking lot was broken and didn’t lock. The first room they offered was dirty. I went to the desk, she offered another room. It was better, but not great. I chose not to stay because there was no way I would feel safe and comfortable there. The woman at the desk said she understood but there were no refunds. I chose to leave. I couldn’t stay there. I ended up staying a couple miles away in a bright, clean, safe hotel and was much happier for almost the same price. I hated spending the extra money, but for my peace of mind it was worth it!! If you choose to stay here, lower your expectations.

We have stayed at 7 Boutique Hotel regularly over the past 2 years. You can't beat the price! The desk staff (Amy) is so great and has helped us with late check ins many times. This is an older hotel but they have made nice updates over the years we've stayed here. It's clean, comfy, and convenient.

My friend and I who were staying at the hotel discovered there were fleas in our room. We packed up to go to ask for a refund, though we were aware of the no refund policy, because this was a case of hygiene and the hotel not being properly cleaned. When going to speak with the person at the front, they implied many times that we weren't telling the truth and explained a few different times how they had deeply cleaned the room, though some details of that story changed every time it was told. We also know that at least some of what was said cannot be true because, while they said nobody had stayed in that room since it had been cleaned which included deep cleaning the carpet and other surfaces thoroughly, we noticed dog hair, crumbs, and surfaces that were not wiped down in our room. We explained that we weren't trying to be critical, but didn't want to stay in a room with fleas. The person up front seemed to take our dislike of fleas, desire for a refund, and wanting to switch hotels personally. They did not give a refund and told us to take it up with Expedia. While it is a cheap option, definitely not worth the attempt of a stay when fleas and really poor customer service is likely what you'll receive.

When going to speak with the person at the front, they implied many times that we weren't telling the truth and explained a few different times how they had deeply cleaned the room, though some details of that story changed every time it was told. We also know that at least some of what was said cannot be true because, while they said nobody had stayed in that room since it had been cleaned which included deep cleaning the carpet and other surfaces thoroughly, we noticed dog hair, crumbs, and surfaces that were not wiped down in our room. We explained that we weren't trying to be critical, but didn't want to stay in a room with fleas. The person up front seemed to take our dislike of fleas, desire for a refund, and wanting to switch hotels personally. They did not give a refund and told us to take it up with Expedia. While it is a cheap option, definitely not worth the attempt of a stay when fleas and really poor customer service is likely what you'll receive.

It was a great layover place for us. Our sons live in Abq and we will in Chicago area. We usually drive straight thru but due to some medical issues this past year we needed to make out trip a two day one. 7 Boutique Hotel fit the need perfectly. We checked in with Amy at the front desk and also checked out with her the next morning. We would stay again and are pleased that they are family owned.

NOT a smoke-free property. Front desk person not at desk. Arrived after calling, wreaking of smoke. Unfriendly and said probably no rooms clean even though it was 3pm check in time. Lobby area smells of stale smoke and the screen in our room was laying on the ground with multiple cigarette butts around it.

Had to wait several minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to check in. Deadbolt on our room door would not lock. No plastic cups in the room. Ice machine was not working. Good price and reasonably clean. Would stay again based on price and it not being a terrible experience.

This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There was no one available to check us in. I looked all over the hotel to find someone to check me in. I rang the bell several times and visited with another guest who said she hadn't seen anybody at the check in desk for over an hour. Finally, a lady comes out and is extremely rude because I had awakened her from her sleep to check me in. I have never been treated in a more unprofessional manner. Our hotel room had no hot water so we couldn't take a shower. The stool ran and ran and wouldn't stop. The microwave was dirty. We found a staple in the carpet and a red sequin on the sheets. The bathroom fan was very loud. We were told it was a non smoking hotel and yet there was a horrible odor from cigarette smoke. The towels were old and scratchy. Someone knocked on our door two different times and then ran away. There was no one available to talk to about this issue. The room appeared unkept and had a definite odor. We had difficulty sleeping because we were worried about the cleanliness of the room.

We stop at this property often as a halfway point on regular trips to Colorado. It doesn't have a lot of "bells and whistles" but it's clean, staff is friendly, and it's right off Hwy 400/50.

This is an older place that has had some updates. Although it's not a luxury stay, you cannot beat the price and thr rooms are clean and and spacious. The property is huge with lots of walking space and large pet area, well lit at night. Conveniently located. Friendly staff.

In looking for a place to stay for the night, the price attracted me but also made me wonder why it was inexpensive. Thanks to reviews here and elsewhere, I saw the hotel was spoken of highly and decided to trust those reviews. And am I glad I did! It's in a quiet location with friendly service. It's a family-run hotel and they live on-site, always ready to assist as needed. For the low price paid, I felt the room was better quality than some corporate chains. Sure, some things can be upgraded but I felt comfortable as soon as I got to the property and walking into the room. The bed was comfy and I really have nothing negative to say. I highly recommend staying here.

Not even a cup in the bathroom for brushing my teeth! No readily available ice (you have to ask for it at the unattended front desk). One tiny cooler of soft drinks on the honor system. I didn’t bother looking for coffee the next morning- I just hit the road.

This was an interesting place. No frills but very clean and comfortable bed for the money. Lady at front desk was personable and gave good advice about Uptown Cafe. We also learned from waitress that there was an affiliated place next doir a bit more upscale but also higher prices. Restaurant staff was great. If you want a quick place to stop overnight and sleep well while just traveling through I would highly recommend it. If you want an upscale place more than just a good bed, this isn’t your pkace. We will stay again.

They had no ice, and hadn't had any for two weeks. I'd think they'd want that fixed sooner. We were dissapointed, as we gad pkanned to have a couple drinks to unwind before bed. No coffee pot in the room but the lobby had coffee.

Google said they had a gym, but they don't. However, the staff was great, rooms were nice and clean, great locations with lots of food options nearby. I would definitley stay there again.

Front desk lady very crabby. No ice. Grumbled when we asked for more towels. Hotel lay out is weird. I believe rooms use to face what was a pool now all the AC's vented to this common area it was 103 making it hot. They've put in a dart board and pool table which you have to pay for. No coffee or water. Vending machine has a note on in saying it except $5 bills but wouldn't take $1's and doesnt give change. The toilet in the room didn't flush by itself and hot water in the shower took for ever to get warm. Basically a hot mess except for the price.......

I was excited about the excellent Hotels.com rating. From the second we arrived, I was disappointed and am still not sure how they got that rating. We just barely made it there during the office hours, pulling in around 10pm local time. It was very inconvenient for the front desk person that we were there, but she was polite and got us checked in and explained how to find our rooms. The property was EXTREMELY dated and worn. The pictures make it look like a nice motel. The reviews sounded warm and welcoming and clean. In reality it was likely a very nice hotel in 1986 but has not been maintained since then. It had been cleaned but not professionally cleaned (edges and corners not vacuumed, found a random key card in the bedding, mold on the wall, etc). Maybe we caught the staff on a bad evening, I only with one staff person and it was late at night, so likely other reviews about friendly and helpful staff are accurate. If you are looking for a no-questions-asked, pay-with-cash if you want, super cheap place to stay for the night and you are not concerned with security (exterior doors did not lock, or even close completely) - this is for you. If you are looking for something that meets or exceeds Travelodge/Motel 6/Super 8 standards, this is not for you. The rooms were big, and the fridge and microwave added convenience, but I plan to try other hotels in the area before going back. They provide for a need. I'm reviewing so others are not surprised and disappointed as I was.

Dead insects everywhere in the room, dirty sheets, dirty fridge, black specks in the sheets (which is a sign of bedbugs, though I only saw dead insects on the floor). One of the doors kitty-corner to me had been busted open and wasn't sealed off or fixed. Left to find another place to stay for the night.
