Meserret Palace Hotel - Special Category

Die Lage ist sehr gut ,.Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es sofort gegebüber dem Hotel, mit Gebühr.Der Name des Hotels ,hat mit dem was man vor Ort sieht ,nichts zu tun.Palace hört sich gut an aber die Sauberkeit ist nicht genügend.Das Frühstücksbüffet ist mäßig . Wird nicht nach gefüllt. Hatte schon günstigere Hotels besucht ,wo ich mit dem Frühstück zufrieden war ,aber das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

The family room was excellent and really beautiful. 3 twin beds and one king. Room had a refrigerator, safe, great AC and really nice washroom amenities. The room was absolutely fantastic. High ceilings and made me feel like a king. Only complaint is that there is quite a bit of street noise. Otherwise the hotel itself has spiral staircase, tiny elevator. Breakfast was ok. Nothing absolutely amazing but I think it was very traditional and not my type. They had everything including pastries and scrambled eggs, etc.

Rent og pent hotell. Veldig flott interiør, flott bygning og fine rom. Den delen var 10/10. Ansatte var hyggelige og behjelpelige! Eneste som var LITT negativt var vasking av rom når vi ikke var der. La ikke merke til at det ble gjort noe, de fikser bare sengen og byttet toalett papir. Og tett sluk i dusjen! Utenom det veldig bra.

We booked for 1 night what it was supposed to be the best room of the hotel and went there. The staff was really helpful in assisting us to find a car parking but with no success. Went in the room and did check out within 10 minutes. As we enter the room we saw the old moquette that needs to be removed ASAP from the room. Went in the toilet and saw that the WC was not appropriately cleaned. DISGUSTING. On the sink we found hairs and again DISGUSTING. Advice: Don't make not refundable booking. Check before

O Atendimento na portaria muito bom entretanto a limpeza principalmente a do banheiro onde pude notar melhor e pessima, ar condicionado quebrava todo dia e parava de funcionar, secador de cabelo quebrou. Café da manhã mais ou menos. Seguramente não voltarei e não indicarei.

Litt slitt, ikke helt rent teppe, utrolig skitne vinduer, noe harde senger, enkel frokost. Litt støy fra gate, men dette er tross alt et sentrumshotel. Flott service, nye håndkler hver dag. Super beliggenhet, kort vei til det meste. Anbefales hvis du ønsker et sted midt på treet med gangavstand til severdighetene.

Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet, und das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider waren die Zimmer nur mittelmäßig, mit einigen defekten Stellen an den Fliesen und Schimmel im Badezimmer. Das Frühstück endet bereits um 10:00 Uhr, was meiner Meinung nach mindestens bis 11:00 Uhr gehen sollte. Unsere Minibar war leer, was enttäuschend war. Insgesamt ist das Hotel in Ordnung, aber es fehlt der "Wow"-Effekt. Der Preis scheint mehr durch die Lage als durch das Hotel selbst gerechtfertigt zu sein.

Lovely location, near the coast. Built in the 1800’s, so be prepared to visit a bit of nostalgia. The room decor suits the era the building was built in, which is spectacular. The staff are great. The rooms and bathrooms were quite clean. The family room was large, with three single beds in one room and a larger, king size bed in another. The are was spacious. Only down side was that there was a smell of onions and food coming into our side of the room from either the vents or below kebab shop. Otherwise a recommended hotel for a few days if you wish to stay near to the Istanbul sites.

De locatie van het hotel ligt op loopafstand van overal. Er is een probleem met verkeerslawaai en rioolstank. Elke dag worden dezelfde dingen geserveerd voor het ontbijt, ik denk dat dit dagelijks zou moeten veranderen. Over het algemeen is het een leuke plek. Het personeel is vriendelijk en de netheid is top. Ik kan het iedereen met een gerust hart aanbevelen.

Very clean and elegant rooms. Excellent location with walking distance to historic attraction. Staff is very helpful and helped me booking cruise and car to the airport.

Very nice room, exceptionally nice staff, breakfast was very good, however bed was very hard and uncomfortable for me. I would stay there again, good value for the price but not if you can’t sleep on a hard mattress.

Ottima posizione, vicino ai principali monumenti che si possono raggiungere a piedi. C’è la fermata della metro vicino. Ci sono tantissimi ristoranti nei dintorni. Stanza bella anche se un po’ piccola. Il bagno è grande con una bella doccia. La colazione è principalmente salata e tipica turca. Ci sono anche delle opzioni dolci. Il personale della reception è disponibile.

Rent og pent. Hard seng, harde puter. Lite trykk i dusjen og vannet rant sent ned. Det ble byttet håndklær hver dag. Helt ok frokost, men ikke veldig mye utvalg. Personalet var høflige og behjelpelige. Hotellet ligger i et sentralt område med gangavstand til de fleste fasiliteter.

Hotel idéalement situé pour visiter. Personnel sympathique. Mais notre chambre donnait sur une rue passante et très bruyante. Pas de double vitrage. Nous avons réussi à dormir maid quelqu'un au sommeil difficile aura du mal

The staff were extremely helpful and nice. They were exceptional. Breakfast just ordinary and room was small hardly able to accomodate our two large bags. Toilet was clean even though the hotel is an old structure.

The staff were not honest or transparent. A couple of times they pushed us into places of lower quality saying it was the best and clearly it was about their kick back for sending people there. Over 3 days we didn’t get a room cleaning once.

Top service at this hotel. The reception was very nice and helpful to help with all our questions. Beds and rooms are very comfortable. It is the best place to experience Istanbul. We can recommend this hotel to everyone. We stayed for four nights, and had a great time.

Place is very convenient and clean and great facilities.But some staffs are not friendly and sometimes not attentive.

Very friendly , helpful and accommodating staff. Helped us with getting tickets for our day tours. Location is walking distance to tourist attractions. Dining places are very close (across the street. ). Rooms are very clean

We returned from Istanbul on 29th August following a 10 night stay at the Meserret Palace Hotel. We were a little apprehensive given some of the reviews, however, our stay was amazing. Yes, the property is a little dated, but that is to be expected for a property over 100 years old in a city like Istanbul. The roads are manic outside the hotel and horns are honked constantly, but you have to appreciate that you are incredibly close to many of the tourist attractions. Do take ear plugs if you want silence at night/early mornings. Our room (Exclusive Suite) was dressed in a traditional Ottoman style. Housekeeping arrive daily and if you miss them or need anything extra doing, you only have to call Reception and ask. Breakfast is traditional turkish fare. This may not suit those looking for a continental breakfast UK style, but it was fresh and regularly topped up. I saw some negative comments about the Manager, but we found him to be professional, caring, attentive and welcoming, a lovely man. Front of house staff are wonderful, all 4 of the young men we met were so friendly and happy to assist in any way they could. A special mention goes to Çan and Recep, both always greeted us with smiles on their faces, Çan especially went the extra mile with advice on the most efficient way to get around the City and hidden little gems to visit. We would happily stay here again. 5 Star Service all around.

ik heb onlangs een prettige verblijf gehad in dit hotel, de locatie is erg gunstig. Goed bereikbaar met het openbaarvervoer. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was schoon, netjes ingericht. Het openbuffet ontbijt was goed en gevarieerde selectie aan gerechten. Bedankt.

I booked transportation from airport to the hotel. It was a terible service, dirty van, smelly, shaggy....unproffessional driver.... I complaint and asked to speak to the manager.... they always said he wansnt available for 4 days... finally manager came to reception on day 4 of my stay, he didnt speak any language but Turkish (I offer to speak in 4 different languages but he said he spoke only Turkish.. he said it wasnt their responsability the transportation that they provided... they charged 70 euro and that you had to pay in the hotel, but didnt want to make discount. lthey locked me out of my room (disabled the card) until I paid because I said I wanted to talk to manager first....never been treated that bad in any hotel

We were not given the room upgrade we had paid for and had a rude male at front desk who was argumentative and mocked us, even when we showed the room photos on Expedia vs room given. We were lied to multiple times by this employee, as well as female named Humaya who openly mocked guests. The location of hotel is walkable to the big sites, which was the one positive. The hotel decor is VERY outdated, the lights in hallways and staircase are off 24/7, which is security concern. Beds were rock hard and the breakfast buffet was inedible, not replenished and had food laid out from prior day for multiple days in row. We travel often and have never had an experience so negative at a hotel before. The front desk staff really tarnished our experience staying at this hotel and we would never recommend it to anyone. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that looked a lot better at the same price range.

Property was close to everything. Both the Grand Bazar and the Spice Bazar are within walking distance. Easy to get a bus or the subway. Lots of food choices

Hôtel très bien placé, à deux pas de sortie pour une arrivé en transport en commun. Personnel serviable et à l’écoute. Je recommande fortement.

周辺にはおいしいケバブレストランやスイーツ店がありごはんに困ることがない。ガラタ橋やアヤソフィアも若干歩くが全然歩ける距離にあり観光にも便利。

We stayed at the Meserret Palace for 5 nights and found that the location was perfect. Within walking distance to most main attractions but the tram/metro stations at Sirkeci were only a couple of minutes away when we wanted to go further afield eg. the Asian part of the city. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was all rather much the same every day but ok.Lots of restaurants around. Would recommend this hotel.

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter la ville, tram tout proche. Personnel sympa et à l écoute. Chambre luxe spacieuse, salle de bain fonctionnelle, bonne literie. Un petit bémol pour le petit déjeuner.

Le seul dommage pour notre séjour à été le bruits des tractopelles qui travaille de 22h00 à 4h00 du mat. le petit déjeuner n'est pas terrible, manque de tasses et de verres. Autrement il est bien situé, le personnel est sympa et serviable. C'est un bon hôtel à un prix raisonnable .

We love staying at this hotel, restaurant shops the attractions are to walking distance.. Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms, only need to update the carpet.. The breakfast was 7:30 am to 10 am but main dishes were always late, they will put out close to nine and very little. I’ll suggest for the kitchen to have ready at the time on schedule.. that was my only complaint, we stayed for five days ..

Staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. The only complaint we had was that the TV service was limited/difficult to figure out. And the breakfast was good not great.

Excellent location. Close to public transportation and walking distance to major attractions. Hotel is old but in good condition. Breakfast is not so great but ok. Cleaning service can be better. This is a good place to stay with all basic services with reasonable price.

朝食のメニューが非常に充実していて、味のバランスが良く、朝から気持ちよく一日をスタートできました。ホテルは繁華街の中にありながら、夜はとても静かで、落ち着いてぐっすりと休むことができました。 スタッフの方々も皆さん親切で、丁寧かつ自然な接客がとても印象的でした。お部屋も清潔感があり、居心地の良い空間で、ルームサービスもスムーズかつ丁寧に対応していただけました。 立地・設備・サービスの三拍子がそろった素晴らしいホテルです。値段もリーズナブルでまたぜひ利用したいと思います。
