The hotel has a great location in downtown Flushing, which was convenient for exploring the area and trying some of the excellent restaurants nearby. I also appreciated being able to book a room with a Manhattan view. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing for the price. The furnishings looked somewhat worn, and the carpet/rug appeared like it could use a good cleaning. The bed was only moderately comfortable, and the bedding felt more basic than I would expect for the price point. There were also some maintenance/technology issues. The TV initially wasn’t working properly, and although an engineer came up and fixed the channels, I was never able to get Netflix working. Someone else’s Netflix account was still logged in, which was particularly frustrating. I was also surprised that there was no bottled water in the room and no easily accessible water fountain outside of the gym. Hallway noise was another issue during my stay, despite the hotel describing the rooms as soundproof. Overall, the location was good, but at $250+ for the night, I expected a more polished and comfortable experience. There are some definite positives, but I don’t feel the room provided good value for the price.

We had an overnight layover so we stayed here. The outside of the hotel is a little rough but the interior was especially the room was nice. It was great to sleep in the soft, comfortable bed.
