The parking is limited and only allows for one parked car per room, so if you are meeting family or friends there’s no room in there parking lot and there’s No overnight parking on the street, unless you are willing to pay a fine, so you have one option that cost an additional $20 per night that I think goes to the city. The hotels with limited parking should be given overnight street parking by the city. Other than this the location and staff are great!

Great location. Room was on second floor with outside steps. It was okay edpecially since we were there only 1 night, but when you passed other rooms, if they were sitting outside they had to get up for us to pass.

Fun location right across the street from the ferry dock. We were in an upstairs unit, and the stairs to the room were narrow and steep. So if you have mobility issues you might want to request a ground floor room.

We stayed in a room with a kitchenette. It was very clean and so pretty! The bed was comfy and it was an easy walk to everything in Bayfield. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was an in room coffee pot and the pods were provided by the hotel.I would recommend this place to anyone!

Nice and clean little motel located directly across the street from the ferry to Madeline Island. The room we had was small but adequate for our needs. Bathroom has tiny shower; no tub and the sink is in the main room. Hairdryer is provided. Refrigerator and coffee maker also in the room, but had to move coffee maker to another place with an accessible outlet. There is a microwave and ice machine in another building behind the office. We didn’t have a need for either, but it would be a bit of an inconvenience. We are in our 60s and found that it was very easy to walk to the shops and restaurants downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this place and delightful town. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Very well maintained. Excellent location. Room was very small but that was all that was available when we booked. Would get larger room in the future.

Our room was clean. There was a gap in the door to our room...I did not see or do i think that there were any pests in our room but, there could have been, the gap is noticeable. Alsoa gap areound the wall air conditioner. I had to empty the dehumidifier at least times. The side chairs arms were dirty. Could barely get myself rinsed off in the shower (shower head shoul be replaced) and the bathroom vanity/sink next to the kitchenette sink and around the corner from the toliet / shower room is a bit weird.

Harbors Edge was the perfect place to stay for us in Bayfield. Convenient, easy walking to many places. Room was clean,quiet and comfortable. Staff was friendly and courteous. Would recommend to friends. We'll be back.

Very small room with very small shower stall. Only chair was under the TV so had to sit on bed to watch TV. Room needs a lamp or overhead light - only lighting is small bedside sconces. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet.

Staff was great! Clean and comfortable accommodations. I liked that hotel guests could access the community microwave and ice machine at anytime. Located across from the ferry so there was more noise at times, but the convenience to stores and local attractions was well worth it! Recommend Harbor Edge motel.

Booked a quick one night stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to be! Impeccably clean, friendly staff, easy parking and we could easily walk right across the road to the ferry! Highly recommend.

Room was clean, quiet, and within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The lady that checked me in was very helpful with suggestions for where to eat. I also told her I was interested in area hiking trails and she went out of her way to print me a list of options. I wish I remembered her name. Excellent experience.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Apostles Island. The hotel is walking distance to the ferry to Madeline Island, the cruises and a lot of great restaurants - left the car parked and walked to a lot we wanted to do. The manager at the hotel was amazing. We were arriving late and she made sure we knew exactly what we needed to do. Had poor cell service so she called back in about an hour to make sure we had all the information we needed. Room was very comfortable and big. Will be back in the future

Harbors Edge was perfect for us---no frills, (yes, WiFi and a coffee pot and fridge), but comfy, tidy and convenient. If you don't need a car on Madeline Island this is just a walk across the street to the ferry terminal. A block off the two main drags, it is convenient to restaurants and shopping. Best of all, quiet during tourist season with helpful staff. We will make it our place in Bayfield!

We recently took a trip to Bayfield, WI and stayed at Harbor's Edge Motel. Considering all the expensive properties in Bayfield, this one was a not-so-hidden gem. It looked small when we pulled into the parking lot, and initially the room looked a little small. However, it was SO clean and cozy. They make such efficient use of the space. The bed was very comfortable, and our view was Lake Superior. We had stunning sunrise and sunset views! This town is so walkable, and the motel is close to everything. We took the cruise to the Apostle Islands and the ferry to Madeline Island, and both docks were right across the street. There isn't a restaurant, but so many good restaurants are within walking distance. The only staff member we interacted with was at check in. The front desk lady was very nice and welcoming. She gave us an excellent recommendation for a fish dinner (The Manypenny Bistro - yum!). We chatted up a few couples staying there as well, and everyone was so friendly. One woman said this was her third time staying at the hotel because she just loved it. I could see why. I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Super convenient location….two-minute walkable to in town restaurants, Madeline Island Ferry and Apostle Islands Cruise Pier. Well maintained property, spotless clean bathroom. We were very pleased with our two night stay.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Apostles Island. The hotel is walking distance to the ferry to Madeline Island, the cruises and a lot of great restaurants - left the car parked and walked to a lot we wanted to do. The manager at the hotel was amazing. We were arriving late and she made sure we knew exactly what we needed to do. Had poor cell service so she called back in about an hour to make sure we had all the information we needed. Room was very comfortable and big. Will be back in the future

Enjoyed the room with the balcony, bed was not very comfy, shower was tiny, tv was small, but it was nicely decorated and quaint. Optimally located by ferry, beach and dining; all walking distance. Staff was kind and warm welcoming. Area was quiet but was not on a weekend.

The room and bathroom were on the smaller side but spotless and up to date. Easy parking right outside the door and walkable all around the downtown area of Bayfield for shops and restaurants. Very close to the Madeline Island ferry dock. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Shower had no place to put your razer, shampoo, and body wash. Could use a shower cady of some sort. Only gave us little soaps and shampoos to use instead of having the ones that pump and stick to the shower walls. Otherwise clean and comfortable.
