Malekus Mountain Lodge

Absolutely magical. Pictures do not do Malekus Mountain Lodge justice - it's truly so special and lovely, a work of art not just a place to stay. Roger and Rosey were kind, attentive hosts. The location was beautiful. We had wonderful breakfasts on site and a fantastic dinner just 600 meters away. With only 7 rooms and an intimate feel, this would be a perfect place for a family reunion, small destination wedding, or friends trip. Do know going in that the rooms are small and intimate, and there is no air-conditioning. However, the climate was temperate and the rooms and lodge are well-suited and comfortable. We loved everything about our stay - except for that we didn't get to stay longer! Already hoping to come again!!

The owners were amazing,made you feel like family. Delicous breakfast. Beautiful garden and swimming pool, shame it was raining would of loved to do the hike on the property. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Det sødeste værtspar! Lækker, lokal morgenmad. Kan kun anbefale stedet. På afrejsedagen kom Rosie forbi og spurgte, om vores to børn ville med ned for at fodre æslerne - det var så hyggeligt. Sjældent har vi følt os så velkomne.

Very good food. Fresh from the garden fruit, vegetables and eggs.

Roger and Rosie were exceptional hosts. The property is beautful and the breakfasts are amazing. A wonderful escape - we will be back.
