The Lodge was everything a traveler wants in a solid no-frills motel. The room was large and.clean, the bed was comfortable. I was impressed that the room held a sofa but would have liked a better light for reading. We were on a blue highway drive across the Plains. There aren’t many motel options in this corner of Nebraska and I was very happy to find the Lodge.

The Drop Tyne Lodge is a super clean motel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. We stay here every time we go to Franklin, Nebraska and visit relatives in and around Red Cloud, Nebraska. We definitely recommend the Drop Tyne Lodge!!!

We have learned to be wary of exterior access motels, so when this one had a 9.4 rating on Expedia, we were skeptical. It turned out to be absolutely worth the great score. Sparkling clean, spacious, with plenty of counter space and outlets and all-new furniture and fixtures, it exceeded our expectations. Definitely a great choice whether you're passing through for one night or staying for a week.
