extremely busy and difficult to find places to sit in water park to put stuff down or have the adults relax. Not a lot for the older kids to do without spending a fortune.

Everything with the room parking, the hotel was great. The only thing that I had to complain about was at the waterpark, the main attractions being shut down due to conveyor belt issue with the boats that carry you down the slides.

This place is expensive, be prepared to spend some money. Nothing is free or cheap at this place. Buffet is not all you can eat so fill that plate up because you only get one chance. Inside the water park there are no refills on the drinks. You get a cup with a meal combo ($17) and the cup has a barcode that you scan at the soda machine and it allows you to get soda for 20 seconds only. Towels are $15 rental and parking is $15 per day

I loved our stay at Great Wolf Lodge. We had the bunk bed room and it was super spacious. My complaint is their water park. I have gone to several GWL and this is the first location where none of the kids would go in the water because it was so cold. All the kids were going to the hot tub instead. The temp of the hot tub was what the pool should have been and the hot tub should have been warmer.

While we stayed there the group slides were closed both days which might have been just unfortunate timing but the place was packed without enough staff. There is absolutely no seating in the indoor water park unless you pay to reserve seating or buy a cabana which was $600 or arrived right when it opened. Sunday the pool isn’t open until 10am which means for most families waiting around for 3 hours or paying more money to do other things. Everything is expensive and an up charge. It’s basically Disneyland but without a staff that cares to give you a magical time.

So you can start your day at the pool early, but check in at 4pm room wasn’t ready til apx 5pm and everyone is kicked out of pool by 8pm area inside and out shut down which in Arizona is the main reason to visit this place, our room door was warped and had a very hard time closing and took serious work and at one point it appeared shut but was open, just not so great experience I’ve been here every year for the last four years but this was the worst.

The rooms are really basic. They are lacking most of the comfort and amenities a place of this cost should have. Other than that, it’s an excellent place to bring your kids tons of activities and cool things to do.

During our stay, we were happy with the overall experience of the water park and the attractions. however, our opinion about the room and the crews response time on correcting an issue with our A/C unit in the room is very poor. We stayed for two nights and the first night was a misery, the room was hot and humid. After numerous call to the front desk, they offered us a fan because the engineer's team was too busy to get to us. The issue was not fixed until the next day in the afternoon. Nothing was offered to us in compensation for our bad experience that night.

Very fun place for the family! Room was clean and spacious and service was top notch! And even though we were only there as a stopover, the kids had a great time, the staff was awesome and helpful, and the food was great!

Overall, the suite had great space. However… The “kitchenette” had a half sized bar fridge that did cool things evenly (frozen in the back, not cold in the front), a coffee maker and a bathroom sink. No microwave or anything else you’d expect in a kitchenette. Room was older. Bathrooms were just ok, but the showers were icky. They had hair and blobs of conditioner in them (and random hairs on the “clean” towels). There were plenty of towels - this was a highlight. Lobby is extremely loud. There is no room service. “Do not disturb” signs don’t stay on the doors well. Waterpark was pretty good. But being from Canada, we could not use the ordering kiosks that you have to use to get food/drinks in there. You have to use a phone number and the only options are for US or Mexico phone numbers. So frustrating.

We had a blast with our kids - ages 2 & 7!! Although we found the magiquest games to be difficult to understand, they still had fun waving the wand at the various spots around the property. Mini golf (very mini!) and bowling (also mini) were big hits though!! The water park itself is aweome. So much to do for kids of all ages! We stayed in the Grizzly Suite - it was a great size for us and we all slept well. We will definitely go back!!

Overall our stay was great. The kids had a great time and that’s all that mattered to us. Areas for improvement are as follows: -recommend NOT booking through a 3rd party such as (Hotels.com) as per front desk staff was the cause for our wrist bands deactivating 3 separate times in a 24hr period. Each time they deactivated, I had to go back to the front desk, wait in a 20-30 minute line and get a new wrist band for all 8 of us. This was a very tasky job and for this alone I’d recommend not booking through 3rd party. Pure HASSLE. Food was subpar. Pizza was reasonably priced but boy was it not so great. The one topping cheese pizza was all dough with a few cheese sprinkles. Great things: -the birthday cake that is part of the birthday package was really tasty! -adding the family package with unlimited ropes course, rock wall, golf, mirror maze was a hit during down time from water park. We would do this again but would book directly through GWL and grab food offsite. Thanks!

The lines were long and the first impressions of the Great Wolf wasn’t that well until we were greeted and assisted by Peter. His communication was clean, he asked how were we feeling, then took the initiative to assist us with our luggage and apologized for the very long wait. He explained to us how everything works and even gave instruction to get the wolf ears. Please reward Peter, his customer service went ABOVE and BEYOND. I’ll be back because of him!

Love our stay at the Great Wolf Lodge. It is close to a shopping mall and a Christmas event. Close to all the tourist attractions at Scottsdale. Staff was helpful and friendly and we had a great time.

My experience at Great Wolf Lodge was great. The hotel is only about a year old from what I hear. It was very clean overall. Our room was spacious (2 bedrooms and a living room) and it certainly looked new when we walked in. The hotel has a bar and restaurant a Dunkin Donuts for earlier risers and plenty of activities for kids. A baseball spring training facility is right behind the stadium which is cool and convenient if you are there during that time of year. The hotel is only about 20 minutes from the airport and nice restaurants and bars in the Scottsdale area. Would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely property. The only thing I wish is I would have looked at the attractions before purchasing. The only thing my 14 year old was interested in was the pool and water slides. I wasted a lot of money on attraction pass. Lovely hotel, great location and close to lots of things to do.

Family of 5 stayed in wolf den suite. Good set up for families with kids but certainly not modern or luxury. Well used well loved basic room. Kids really enjoyed the water park. Multiple choices for dining. Found the breakfast buffet to be just okay. Pizza place was pretty good.

Horrible, ballpark quality, overpriced food in all but one of the restaurants and the best one is marginally ok. This place should have a huge warning in its description to not stay unless you have at least one tantrum prone toddler. In all fairness, this place is for young families or families with a boatload of kids. Professional's, couples, and single travelers need to stay away. The room itself was in disrepair. Damaged and scratched furniture, a faucet knob that falls off, origin caulk in the sink you can see from the other side of the room, literally. Just a horrible experience for anyone over the age of 8.

I liked all the text messages/ updates. Easy check in check out. The bracelet to get in room and add purchases was very convenient. The Ice machine on 5th floor didn’t work. The pizza place.. we had ordered a large gave us a beeper.. waited about 40 min with no indication of it being ready. Finally asked about it and it was sitting there in the heater with out them notifying us. Other customers had the same experience as we talked.

We had a marvelous staycation. The room was very comfortable for 6 people. Housekeeping was so gratious with the fact we had three small children.All the pools were so much fun and we took on many stress relieving activities. The only negative we saw was the food was very expensive all around the lodge. But it was very tasteful for all the meals we had. We will definitely be back for other vacations but probably eat more off the resort than in it.

This property was well maintained. Room was clean. I seriously enjoyed this experience for a one time thing. It is simply too expensive and everything is an add on. We did not eat there but heard many complaints about excessive wait times for their food.

The water park is a blast but it is expensive and they overcharge for everything. $15 to self park your car. $35 for a plate of nachos, burger, fries, and one small drink. Resort fees that are almost as high as the room.
