This is a beautiful building, walkable to the port, beaches, and many of the historic sites and neighborhoods. The studio I stayed in was immaculate and spacious. The optional breakfast was very good and in a pretty space. Check-in after 6:00pm, including parking, was complicated, but the rest of the experience more than made up for it.

laundry was good but you pay to use the machines, we had a side unit so not much of a view at all, it's an older building the curtains were frayed but the unit was clean and well equipped, all staff were friendly, parking I thought was a little pricey at 17 euros/nt , you have to pay for coffee pods. it's a pretty good location and a fairly easy walk to the old town and very close to the marina and el sorella, we enjoyed our stay and Tarragona as a whole. I would rate it a 3 star and fairly good value.

There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. For the most part, wifi worked well, but it was down one afternoon out of four days.

Short walk to train station to go to Barcelona. Beautiful ocean view from the room. Short walk to grocery shops, and nice people. Charming city to walk around. The apartment was clean and laundry facility was excellent! If I come to Tarragona, I would definitely stay here again. Secured indoor parking for 17 euros was totally worth it.

Freundlicher Empfang und sehr schönes Studio. Sehr Gute und preisgünstige Möglichkeit zum Wäsche waschen! Sichere Parkmöglichkeit in der Garage- sonst gibt es nichts vernünftiges. Auswahl an Restaurants um diese Jahreszeit sehr mäßig.

Wonderful apartment with just about everything needed in it, especially if one decides to stay for a few days. The premises and building are beautiful and extremely safe. The continental breakfast and the room it is servedin, absolute gorgeous. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience in a modern, well designed and equipped studio in an 18th Century building on the waterfront in Tarragona. The staff were lovely, communication was good - and has to be (!) as deposits, city taxes etc all have to be organised online in advance. The freight railway line runs very close to the building but the soundproofing is excellent throughout. They are currently installing a breakfast area/co-working space which should be a perfect addition to the property. Pleasant walks along both the interesting maritime docks and the beach within minutes, both lined with seafood restaurants. Tarragona itself is walkable everywhere with stunning Roman remains dotted all over the city. Really recommend a visit and Port Plaza certainly ticked all my boxes!

Große Unterkunft in Strand und Stadt Nähe. Allerdings war der Teppich im Wohnzimmer sehr sehr dreckig und gab einem ein unsauberes Gefühl. Ansonsten War es sauber.

Stayed here for about a week with my husband and daughter (4 year old). The room is spacious, decent and has everything you need but honestly, it needs a good cleaning from top to bottom. Especially by the bed frame all around, and the washroom. The shower drainage needs to be checked as every time we used it the water overflows outside the shower area. The shower has no doors, so every time you use the shower the water goes all over, making it wet and dangerous inside the washroom. I can see why there is mold built up all inside the washroom. There is a lot of shops and a market - within walking distance from the hotel. The beach is also very close by. My daughter really enjoyed the park right across the street and appreciated all the great local eats in this town.

La communication avec la réception était horrible, le monsieur sec, pressé de raccrocher, on a du l'appeler 3 fois car à chaque fois il nous manquait des informations, le parking il faut le réserver avant 17h car sinon il n'y a plus personne pour vous ouvrir. La propreté est limite, à première vue on dirait que c'est propre mais en y regardant de plus près on trouve des cheveux d'anciens clients, les draps pas très propre non plus, l'évier de la salle de bain bouché.... L'ascenseur était en panne, on avait une chambre au 3eme étage avec 2 valises et un bébé .... Je ne recommande pas

This was a very comfortable stay right near the train station and a short walk from the beach, if that’s your thing; not far from the tourist attractions though they are all uphill (but downhill coming home!). Extremely powerful AC! Very clean and quiet, great value IMO.

Nice location for a few days stay. Kitchenette well equipped and modern. Good water pressure. The surrounding area and the building felt very safe and secure. Rooms facing out on the train line can be disturbed a bit by noise, but worth it for the sea views. Just a quick walk (5 minutes) to the beautiful beach which is not too busy. Wish I had had a terrace but overall very happy. Very good price for a 1-bedroom apartment with sea views!! Value for money :)

The apartment was generally very comfortable, roomy, good television, nice size fridge/freezer for holiday apartment and everything worked well and was clean and in good condition. Bed and pillows a little hard but okay. Could have had bigger cups and being English we used a pan to make tea/coffee as no kettle. Bathroom a good size and lovely shower. In a quiet part of Tarragona near to port - lovely restaurants on the port at reasonable prices. Lots of history in Tarragona and people lovely.

The hotel cancelled our reservation done 3 months ago, and sent us to other place. They said that they were overbook, but it was not overbook when we made the reservation and they confirmed and charged three months ago. By the time that they cancelled to us, 4 days before the flight, it was impossible to get other reservation in places that we wanted. I will never book this place anymore

By the time that they cancelled to us, 4 days before the flight, it was impossible to get other reservation in places that we wanted. I will never book this place anymore

Great room, well equipped, building felt safe and friendly staff who helped the check in process. However since I had to check out, outside the reception hours, no information had been given regarding how to check out without staff in place. A quick call to staff and it was sorted, but would be good to give this information beforehand and maybe a more secure way of doing it. Room was clean overall but if I could give one more advice to Port Plaza is to upgrade/change the toilet seat, did not feel like it’s been changed in years, at least in my room. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay! Thank you

Loved the apartment. Modern, clean, comfortable with excellent location- a definite winner! Initial check in was rough. The young man with first initial ‘R’ who checked us in seemed overwhelmed and was impatient and not very helpful. The other staff member who came on a later day was very helpful and nice.

Great facilities but check-in was a disaster. Booked hotel on the basis that reception was open daily until 4pm as set out in their listing. Arrived hotel at 2pm and no one was on the property. Access was locked. Followed an existing client in after waiting outside the property for in excess of an hour. Found a cleaning lady who had no information. Wonderful helpful staff (we only dealt with one man and I'm sorry I missed his name so I could praise him here). He helped us book taxis, as Uber and other ride share companies not really reliable here. 10 minute walk under the train tracks, past the naval ship yard to the beach. Also close to the Tarragona train station. (Tarragona Camp train station is farther away and needs taxi or bus transfer). We had a studio with kitchen. Wish there was salt and pepper and napkins or paper towels. Beach towels or a change of bath towels would've been appreciated, but we were only there 3 days. Grocery store around the corner. We loved the Roman amphitheatre, but the forum (circus) and theatre are both closed and fenced off, so cannot be seen.

Excellent position. 5 mins to beach and 15 to main centre and historic sites. Play park outside, great for the kids. Lovey relaxed feel. Minimal decor, clean and surprisingly very quiet even though very close to the train line. Once the doors and windows closed we couldn’t heat anything. Very quiet at night. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was okay overall, but unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again. On the day of arrival we had to send multiple emails and messages just to get our entry codes. If we hadn’t kept hassling, I genuinely think we wouldn’t have received them at all — which would’ve left us with nowhere to stay that night since we arrived after reception closed. We even bumped into another guest who had this exact issue and couldn’t get into the hotel. The “emergency number” provided is just the hotel’s reception phone, which no one answered (we heard it ringing from inside). Reception staff weren’t welcoming — they barely mumbled hello and weren’t helpful. We were only given two rolls of toilet paper for two people for a whole week (we had to ask for more), and just two towels. The “sea view” balcony was misleading; you only see the sea if you stand up, turn your head 90 degrees, and crane your neck. On the plus side, the hotel was quiet so we slept well. The shower and air conditioning were great, and there’s an elevator which is handy for luggage. However, the sink drained so slowly it stayed filled with toothpaste and water, which was unpleasant. Overall, the price felt a bit steep for what you get. The place wasn’t terrible, but it was slightly on the grotty side compared to cheaper hotels we’ve stayed in that were cleaner and nicer.

This is a beautiful building, walkable to the port, beaches, and many of the historic sites and neighborhoods. The studio I stayed in was immaculate and spacious. The optional breakfast was very good and in a pretty space. Check-in after 6:00pm, including parking, was complicated, but the rest of the experience more than made up for it.

This was a very comfortable stay right near the train station and a short walk from the beach, if that’s your thing; not far from the tourist attractions though they are all uphill (but downhill coming home!). Extremely powerful AC! Very clean and quiet, great value IMO.

Hotel personeelsleden waren vriendelijk. Helaas viel het ontbijt tegen. We gingen om half 10 ontbijten en de boter was al op. Er werd wel zoetigheid op het buffet geserveerd, maar we hadden alleen toast met kaas, jam of ham als keuze. Appartement zelf was wel ruim, maar helaas waren de voegen van het douche gedeelte onder de schimmel en was de slaapbank niet helemaal schoon. Er is wel goede centrum op loopafstand en ook de trein is goed bereikbaar om vanuit daar te reizen

The apartment was generally very comfortable, roomy, good television, nice size fridge/freezer for holiday apartment and everything worked well and was clean and in good condition. Bed and pillows a little hard but okay. Could have had bigger cups and being English we used a pan to make tea/coffee as no kettle. Bathroom a good size and lovely shower. In a quiet part of Tarragona near to port - lovely restaurants on the port at reasonable prices. Lots of history in Tarragona and people lovely.

We had a promo room, which was spacious, quiet and clean. Aircon, shower and wifi good. Bed huge and comfy. Breakfast good value. Parking garage expensive and very tight. Not many spaces so need to book. Good location close to the beach and only 10 minutes from the old town and main attractions.
