Stayed 1 night

The place was cold - no heating had been put on in anticipation of our arrival. No instructions on how to control the heating - we finally found the control unit hidden on the top of a cupboard in the kitchen. Kitchen sink had a big crack in it. Shoddy décor throughout. Bed in main bedroom: let's just say the springs and mattress have seen better days. The bathroom floor is collapsing because (I assume) water from the shower. Didn't dare actually use the shower but the shower head looked awful. Yes it was convenient for Old Trafford, but just be aware that word "beautiful" in the description proves the point that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I would have used "tatty and in need of a lot of work".

Stayed 1 night

Our stay unfortunately was far from comfortable. This place advertised free parking as they had a small drive way at the front of the property however when I arrived there, I was informed that I would have to pay £5 to park overnight otherwise I would be charged £60 to my card. This is false advertising and I only paid this without question for worry that I’d be charged more after my stay. I’m addition to this, the heating would not work so the property was freezing cold, we reported this and someone came around but they did nothing to get the heating going despite assuring us it would be turning on. We were provided with no clean towels so could not take a shower but we would have been reluctant to have a shower anyway given the state of the bath mat that was on the floor of the bathroom. The house is generally looks like it hasn’t been cleaned, dirty carpets and a dead bug on the bedsheet were some of the things that stood out the most but it was blatantly obvious that the place is tired and in dire need of a revamp to warrant the cost. There was also a basket of food items that included a fully crumbled KitKat which was priced at 70p and cheap packet noodles. Perhaps given the rest of the disappointing aspects to this property, snacks should be provided free of charge as compensation. I would not recommend anyone stay here.
