My Place Hotel-Hurricane, UT

Everything was great. Love having the kitchenette.

Room and hotel were in great condition. Staff were excellent. Location was very good for heading to Zion. Neighborhood was very good. The room unfortunately smelled of Indian food. As the room has a small kitchenette I’m sure the previous guests warmed up Indian food. The hotel had 100% occupancy so no room change available. The receptionist offered to run an air purifier but it meant us leaving the room for an hour and a half. At 7.30 in the evening after 7 hours driving that was a no. She did give us a spray air freshener which worked for a few minutes. Shame as the hotel was super.

No breakfast. Nice to have in room ice dispenser in fridge but was turned off and ice came first unusable, then in quantity of 7s. Gate on pool locked after front desk said it wasn’t pool door to hotel not accessible. Hot tub jets hardly worked. Pool freezing cold though front desk said it was warm. Unable to get correct invoice at checkout. Overpriced for what it is.

We loved our stay at MyPlace in Hurricane. It was in a quiet, safe location and the staff was very friendly. Our room was clean with great amenities. Close to all the fun outdoor activities in the Zion area. Pet friendly too!

I was greeted by Dara, who was most pleasant and helpful. She was attentive and swift, and engaged in small talk at a time when I probably looked a bit in need of a shower and a nap. The room was very clean, has great amenities and had new enough tech that I could charge devices. Had I been staying longer than one night, I'd have taken full advantage of the kitchen. In my case, the Lin's grocery store across the street provided a source for cold beer, warm tamales, and some snacks for the next day. When I return, I'll be sure to stay here again.
