Perfect location in Astoria..if you want a clean, up kept, tucked away hotel, this is the place. The breakfast is cooked fresh everyday. It's off the main drag. It's quiet and clean. Indoor swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub. Our spa room was clean and comfortable. We are going to return.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. The kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and breakfast, while I appreciated the daily clam chowder options. Very friendly and helpful. Loved the jacuzzi, sauna and liked the pool. Only down side was unexpected closures of the pool due to adjusting chemicals in early morning. Also loved the 5 pm supply of salmon and potatoes. Breakfast was much better than what most hotels provide as "continental breakfasts."

I loved the complimentary soup and cookies! I also loved being able to borrow out the games they had behind the counter. Breakfast was delicious- I loved the hot options like eggs and sausage. The breakfast staff was amazing and so sweet. The front desk woman was great- very nice and helpful—specifically the blonde who worked evenings with the tattoos, I loved her. The pool and hot tube were great. They were clean and not crowded. Overall, a great stay!

Great spot for a night or two. Clam Chowder in the lobby at night! Clean rooms, pool, Hot tub, sauna, lobby and gym. Good breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the kind staff here. They went out of their way constantly to be sure our entire group felt welcome. WE loved the pool, the hot tub, the food, the welcome, the flexibility, the extra help they provided. It felt so good to have people really care that we had a good time there. Good ol customer service isn't always easy to find and they were great at it! We loved playing the trivia game as well!

The staff was great. The room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. For the most part the hotel is very nice. The entrance into the property is a little rough. Pulling into the parking lot I thought I had made a mistake. But once you pass the old buildings and rough asphalt it was clean and nice. Our only complaint was the condition of the hot tub. I could barely walk or stand in the hot tub. It was so rough that it hurt my feet! My feet are more sensitive than most people’s but my girlfriend found it hard to walk on too. The hotel does have a couple nice extras. There are fresh cookies every day at 3pm and a pot of Seafood Chowder at 5pm. It’s first come, first served. We got to the hotel around 7pm and were able to enjoy a tasty cookie for dessert after a bowl of delicious chowder. We enjoyed our stay. With other nice places to stay in the area we’d most likely try someplace different next time we go to the coast. The price was reasonable. But we were really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub. It was usable but definitely needed an upgrade!

Staff were amazing. The best part of the day was 3pm cookies time and 5pm claim chowder. This place is fantastic, they even give free bottled water. Parking is limited but everything else great....only breakfast is truly fantastic. The best part of the hotel, breakfast.

Upon arrival staff was friendly and pleasant to interact with, check in was quick and effortless. The room was beautiful and pristine with a lovely view of the mouth of the Columbia river. The complimentary chowder was a pleasant surprise and delicious. The pool and hottub were incredible; both were a comfortablably appropriate temperature and purified with saline instead of chlorine. The breakfast choices offered a variety of options including dairy-free. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Issue with our bathroom toilet not flushing or refilling. Our bathroom smelled mouldy and I think it was the shower curtain. Everything was clean and neat upon arrival. Staff were friendly but when I advised of issues upon check out all I got was a one word “sorry”. Disappointed for how much we paid I expected more.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. We started every day with a great breakfast at the hotel. The laundry facility was clean and well maintained. We did one load of laundry when we decided to extend our stay. We added two more nights to our stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

The bed was super comfy, pillows nice. No noise from the road but above us was a herd of elephants or so it seemed. I am pretty sure they were just walking around but it sounded as stomping.

The hotel was a wee hard to find. Once we did, we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was gorgeous with a working fireplace, large jacuzzi tub, and comfortable bed. Plenty of pillows. Plenty of towels. Staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast service was well stocked and delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a spacious deluxe room with 2 comfy queen beds, wet bar/sink with larger refrigerator, good wi-fi, and a good hot breakfast. Hotel is located in a quiet area away from the noisy sea lions. I recommend staying here.

Black Out Curtains do not compete with Outside Stadium Lite for parking - great for parking lot just need a better black out curtain. Room above, guessing a kitchenette, had dogs, back and forth. Water pipes, in the walls from entire hotel? Carpet, do not go barefoot. Otherwise, nice room.

Front desk was amazing, room was beautiful and clean with the view of the bay. Loved the glass coffee mugs! The only down fall was the floor. There must have been water damage or something because there was a part that sunk down by the bed. We are sorry we missed the salmon chowder. Hopefully next time we can enjoy it! The breakfast was very good!

My partner and I were taking a few days of vacation to celebrate some milestones, and were looking for somewhere clean, comfy, and relatively affordable, somewhere near both the Columbia River and the ocean. This was it. Room was very clean, bed was soft, and the bathtub was more than adequate. The included breakfast was above average for a hotel, and the complimentary salmon chowder and fresh baked cookies were a surprising but very welcome bonus. Book early to get a good price, but definitely stay here if you're looking to explore Astoria for a few days or more.

How is it an ambulance can pick up one of your clients and no one comes to inquire if they need new lemons, or bed made or any help. When we returned, we asked twice once by me at the other by my son for room service. The following morning we asked for room service. It wasn’t until 4 o’clock in the afternoon that day that we saw service. Three times, twice in evening once the next morning.

The cyclone knocked out power to Astoria and surrounding communities. The manager, was wonderful and did us a huge favor by putting us in a first floor room with our slightly disabled dog. We had a room on the 4th floor, but with no power, there was no elevator. And our dog could not walk up the four flights of stairs. Jessi was at the front desk, and cool as a cucumber during the emergency. She helped guests, handed out flashlights, and put lights around the hallways and stairwells. Very professional all around. Kudos. As for the rooms... they we're both well appointed, clean, and very quiet. I didn't care that much for the pillows, and would have preferred something more firm, but the mattresses were great. The HVAC units worked flawlessly (except of course when there was no power). Breakfasts were good, though simple. All and all, a great three-night stay, in spite of the cyclone and power outage. We will definitely be coming back.

Jessi was at the front desk, and cool as a cucumber during the emergency. She helped guests, handed out flashlights, and put lights around the hallways and stairwells. Very professional all around. Kudos. As for the rooms... they we're both well appointed, clean, and very quiet. I didn't care that much for the pillows, and would have preferred something more firm, but the mattresses were great. The HVAC units worked flawlessly (except of course when there was no power). Breakfasts were good, though simple. All and all, a great three-night stay, in spite of the cyclone and power outage. We will definitely be coming back.

While check-in was busy the staff (Alisha?) were friendly accurate and welcoming. A new employee was in training and she was assuring everyone was checked in but also that the new staff member would be well prepared in their new roll.

The location is kind of funky. Its away from town on the point of the bay but getting into it you go through the UHaul yard. There is no view of the water as there is a big berm of wild berry bushes. The walking path is nice for a quick stroll. There are no restaurants within walking distance. Can walk to the trolley but it only runs until 4-5 p.m. if it isn't raining. They only service room if given 24 hour notice. Hot breakfast is ok, but same everyday.

We had an end room with a great view. Room was comfortable and clean. Only noise issue was we could occasionally hear people walking above us. The hotel is away from down town but really Astoria isn't that big. GPS got us there with no problem, you just need to go through the UHaul lot to the hotel.

The property is uniquely placed by the Columbia River with a lovely walk to view the boats, birds and wildlife outside the hotel. We had a beautiful view of the river and watched boats go by, as well as the gorgeous sunset from our room! It was a nice quiet area and there was plenty of parking.

This hotel had so many nice touches for guests. Real glass coffee cups other than paper ones. Same for the water glasses. A black hand towel for makeup removal. Comfy Terry robes in the bathroom. A variety of coffee for the Keurig in your room. Another nice touch is warm clam chowder available in the afternoon followed by a freshly baked cookie. The staff was wonderful!

Staff were amazing. The best part of the day was 3pm cookies time and 5pm claim chowder. This place is fantastic, they even give free bottled water. Parking is limited but everything else great....only breakfast is truly fantastic. The best part of the hotel, breakfast.

The room and people were great. The only thing we didn't like was the breakfast buffet. When we arrived, about an hour before it was to close, most of the hot food was gone or almost gone. Finally someone came to check but it was too late and we went somewhere else.

Shoreline walkway was scenic and an easy hike.Nice water view from room, inviting main lobby with fireplace, attractive breakfast room with a variety of items, separate cozy library for business use, tasty chowder put out every evening, great service by all we had contact with, wireless phone charger in room. Comfortable bed, TV with premium channels, terry cloth robes.

Upon arrival staff was friendly and pleasant to interact with, check in was quick and effortless. The room was beautiful and pristine with a lovely view of the mouth of the Columbia river. The complimentary chowder was a pleasant surprise and delicious. The pool and hottub were incredible; both were a comfortablably appropriate temperature and purified with saline instead of chlorine. The breakfast choices offered a variety of options including dairy-free. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

The property was right on the waterfront, near the boat harbor. Though we didn't take advantage of the riverwalk due to the rain, we loved waking up to the view. The room was nice and comfortable. There were robes for us to use (we didn't) and actual glasses, both for water and wine, instead of those flimsy paper or plastic disposable cups. There was half and half for the coffee, not those packets with dry creamer. It would have been more quiet, but it was across from the elevator and our wall abutted the stairs. What we did did not like was that the breakfast area was hugely insufficient for a hotel with so many rooms (75, I believe). The breakfast area had about 8 or 9 tables in a tiny space. Not all guests were using common courtesy to give up their table once they finished. Some folks were clearly done, but on their phones or just dawdling. The food looked like it was good, you just couldn't quite get to it.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is well maintained and very comfortable. We had a room with a view of the bay and it was beautiful. There is a walking path right behind the hotel. We enjoyed a walk by bay! We got a room that was a bit larger than a standard room with a refrigerator and wet bar. King bed was very comfortable. Hot breakfast was great! Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were exceptional. Many cold items too. Only a few miles away from the Lewis & Clark National Park. And an easy trip over the bridge to Washington to see Cape Disappointment. The hotel is set back from the main road and the sign by the driveway is small and easy to miss. Great place to stay in Astoria.

Room was clean but parking lot view for almost 300. That’s a ripped off. Don’t be fooled by the name Bayfront. It’s NOT bayfront. You don’t see any bay but you can walk to the bay. Drive thru warehouse and boat industrial area you get to this so called hotel. Very expensive with breakfast included which nothing spectacular. Standard hotel breakfast.
