We arrived earlier than the check in time, and was allowed to leave out case, we then had an excellent roast dinner, which was also available in a gluten free option for my husband. We were able to then check in earlier than stated time, to a lovely room. The hotel was just across the road to crystal palace bowl, which is the venue for the concert we were attending. Then when it had finished a quick walk back to a lively pub/hotel for a great night's sleep.

The pros: - Great pub if you want a few drinks and a bite to eat - Good location by Crystal Palace park and in the Triangle - Good price when I stayed The cons - The room I stayed in needs some TLC. In the bathroom, the radiator was hanging off the wall, there were cracked tiles, the blind was dirty. In the bedroom there were significant water stains on the walls and furniture, the carpet was worn and dirty. - Unfortunately, the guests in the room next door decided to have an extremely loud and violent argument for most of the night, slamming doors and furniture, screaming and swearing. It took several hours before security intervened, leaving me and the other guests with a sleepless night and feeling unsafe. - The windows and walls are thin and not sound proof. The traffic and people noise around the property will keep you awake if you are not a heavy sleeper. If you are having a night out locally and want somewhere to sleep this could be a good option. But if you need rest and relaxation I would look elsewhere.

Night porter has been passed bar duties and cleans, tidies whilst scraping metal chairs against cobbles and paving flags. A racket that went on for approx an 1hr between 1 and 2 in the morning. Strikes me that the clean up of external areas should be done at closing time. Not the night porters fault. I imagine he thinks he is helping. Great pub, lovely rooms, good food but sleep was a write off 2 from 3 nights even though the staff were informed politely after the first night.

The staff were friendly and accomodating. The pub itself was quaint and the breakfast was great - added discount for staying at the pub. One bar member was a little 'off' but you can't have everything. Highly reccommended.

Tastefully decorated, well equiped and air conditioned rooms although the pub itself wasnt. That said the pub was open and airy with good outside space. Food (breakfast, lunch and dinner all recommended). Just a note, my elderly parents were on the top floor..no lifts.

A Peaceful and Enjoyable Stay! I had a wonderful experience staying here. The room was peaceful and very clean, offering the perfect space to relax. The location is fantastic — right next to Crystal Palace Park, which added a lovely touch of nature to the stay. The staff were friendly especially Mario, Jessie and Matt, calm, and genuinely attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout. I felt very safe both in the accommodation and the surrounding area, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was lovely — a great way to start the day — and the overall vibe was relaxed and positive. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located place with great service.

Lovely place to stay, in an ideal location next to Crystal Palace Park for those attending any festivals. Room was immaculate and the staff very friendly. Plenty of nearby places to eat and drink, and a 10 minute walk from the train station.

Another good stay at the Westow. Nice big room with a good selection of teas and coffee available. Our only issue was that the TV didn’t work due to a WiFi issue. This couldn’t be fixed during our stay but I was offered complimentary drinks which was an acceptable gesture.

The bed was very comfortable. The noise from the bar on the ground floor was undetectable from the room. We stay here whilst visiting relatives and will stay again in the future. We have stayed twice before in different rooms and the same review applies to those rooms.

I’ve stayed at Westow House twice now! Excellent value for money, really nicely decorated rooms, with all the amenities you would need! I really wouldn’t hesitate booking again if in the area. Staff are helpful. P.S you don’t hear the noise from the bar downstairs !

Westow House was ideally situated for us. We received a friendly greeting and the staff team were eager to help whenever we needed it. The room was comfortable and well presented. We stayed for a meal in the evening, which was very good, as was the breakfast. We will stay again.

My parents very much enjoyed their stay at Westow House. The room was pleasant and stylish with a good view of the city. The manager was very helpful and considerate when my Mum needed some assistance. They would definitely stay again.

Lovely room, clean and comfortable bed. However, it is above the pub and the staff do not know you are staying at the hotel section. I was treated very badly by a member of their staff who demanded that I leave the snug/work area the evening before I left. This treatment was awful and I had to stand my ground. As a female traveller staff often forget you are there. To try and bully me out of an area is unforgivable. I will be making a formal complaint to the hotel. I will not be going back again.

I was treated very badly by a member of their staff who demanded that I leave the snug/work area the evening before I left. This treatment was awful and I had to stand my ground. As a female traveller staff often forget you are there. To try and bully me out of an area is unforgivable. I will be making a formal complaint to the hotel. I will not be going back again.

We arrived earlier than the check in time, and was allowed to leave out case, we then had an excellent roast dinner, which was also available in a gluten free option for my husband. We were able to then check in earlier than stated time, to a lovely room. The hotel was just across the road to crystal palace bowl, which is the venue for the concert we were attending. Then when it had finished a quick walk back to a lively pub/hotel for a great night's sleep.

The pros: - Great pub if you want a few drinks and a bite to eat - Good location by Crystal Palace park and in the Triangle - Good price when I stayed The cons - The room I stayed in needs some TLC. In the bathroom, the radiator was hanging off the wall, there were cracked tiles, the blind was dirty. In the bedroom there were significant water stains on the walls and furniture, the carpet was worn and dirty. - Unfortunately, the guests in the room next door decided to have an extremely loud and violent argument for most of the night, slamming doors and furniture, screaming and swearing. It took several hours before security intervened, leaving me and the other guests with a sleepless night and feeling unsafe. - The windows and walls are thin and not sound proof. The traffic and people noise around the property will keep you awake if you are not a heavy sleeper. If you are having a night out locally and want somewhere to sleep this could be a good option. But if you need rest and relaxation I would look elsewhere.

Westow House was ideally situated for us. We received a friendly greeting and the staff team were eager to help whenever we needed it. The room was comfortable and well presented. We stayed for a meal in the evening, which was very good, as was the breakfast. We will stay again.

Terrific location for attending a gig at the Park. Very kindly and helpful staff, very good atmosphere all round. Comfortable and quiet room. Breakfast included was satisfying, and with a 20% client discount it was definitely worth eating there late afternoon. Easy links into London for travel. Would absolutely stay there again.

Lovely place to stay, in an ideal location next to Crystal Palace Park for those attending any festivals. Room was immaculate and the staff very friendly. Plenty of nearby places to eat and drink, and a 10 minute walk from the train station.

The staff were friendly and accomodating. The pub itself was quaint and the breakfast was great - added discount for staying at the pub. One bar member was a little 'off' but you can't have everything. Highly reccommended.

Tastefully decorated, well equiped and air conditioned rooms although the pub itself wasnt. That said the pub was open and airy with good outside space. Food (breakfast, lunch and dinner all recommended). Just a note, my elderly parents were on the top floor..no lifts.

The room was lovely, large with air conditioning, albeit on the top floor with no lift! Good for exercising! The room had coffee facilities and a fridge plus a decent sized bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price and there was plenty of choice. The bar was busy but at least it was still open when we returned from our event!

The experience of staying at westow house was excellent from the time of checking in to the stay and checking out The room was clean and fresh and the bed was so comfortable and clean This was our first visit but we were so impressed that we have booked another three days there in two weeks time I would recommend a visit to anyone and quite understand why they have such a good reputation

This is not a cheap place, so to find a small room where one of the bedside lamps didn't work, where the shampoo dispenser in the shower didn't work, where the curtains were torn, it's not good enough. And I thought I'd mention this when checking out, but when I handed in the card, the guy at Reception didn't even look at me, carried on his inconsequential conversation with his mate, and didn't bother asking or even saying thanks and goodbye. Nothing other than poor and overpriced.
