Nice location in the heart of the city. I appreciated the nearby street food vendors. The facility could us a minor refreshing, but that didn’t bother me as I was too busy enjoying my stay.

駅からは徒歩12分位で少し歩くが、隣がモールなので、立地は最高。バス停迄は、2分位歩く。 施設は綺麗で新しく、また広い。 朝食も、インドネシア料理や洋食など幅広く、満足。 ただ、クリーニングを頼んだが、こちらが言わないと持って来ない。フロントに言っても遅い。直接、ルームクリーニングの人に言った方が良い。

Wonderful hotel, great location, lovely room, amazingly comfy bed, brilliant bar with great food and music and lovely pool. One of the best hotels have ever stayed in!

Novotel is a very attractive modern and clean hotel, located right off Malioboro, and in close proximity to the train station and the Malioboro mall. My room was very appealing and comfortable, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay here again.

The let down for this property was the cleanliness, on arrival there was a cookie in the power socket next to the bed closest to the door and the bathroom also lacked cleanliness. The nooks and crannies of the toilets can easily be cleaned with some bleach and elbow grease, and same with the shower. I imagine the housekeeping staff do not get enough time to do so which is a shame as the facilities outside of the room were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and had a large selection of foods. I would have liked to see food items get refilled more frequently as the pasta always seemed to be empty. The staff in all areas were very nice. I got very sick and they called for a doctor to attend the property for further assistance (check up cost about 350k IDR and medications about 450K IDR) which were paid directly to the doctor and no extra cost was applied by the hotel staff. On the same note it’s unfortunate the state of the bathroom was not very inviting during this time as the grime made me feel even more sick and queasy on sight. The hotel staff called to check in on me the next day which was appreciated. My partner spent a lot of time at the rooftop bar and loved the live music and bar tending staff and would recommend spending some time up there if you do stay here.

I stayed at this hotel for five days and was pleasantly surprised by how much it offered, especially for the price. While the building is older, it’s very well maintained, and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds, crisp white sheets, and towels. I had one of the more affordable rooms, but the large east-facing windows offered stunning views of the city and mountains. If you do nothing else, visit the rooftop pool and restobar on the 10th floor—even if you’re staying elsewhere. The views, breeze, and relaxed atmosphere make it a destination. The staff up there were exceptional—shoutout to Andre, Made, Upay, Rhe, and Bhuda. Friendly, honest, and passionate about what they do. I even met the GM and the Chef on two occasions—not drinking, but personally checking in on guests, which says a lot about their commitment. Breakfast is worth including in your booking. There's a wide selection, an outdoor smoking area, and a relaxed setting. The Wi-Fi worked seamlessly for five days straight without needing to log in repeatedly, which is rare. Security was strong and consistent, giving me peace of mind during my stay. A big plus was the list of recommended local restaurants provided at check-in—extensive menus, great food, and nearby. Ironically, the service at those restaurants didn’t match the high-quality service I got at the hotel. Location-wise: Great

Good location near Malioboro street. Hotel is on the older side. Room is not cleaned well - still has dust and uncleaned bathroom. Mattress not as comfortable as expected.Have the basic room amenities, but can request.

We switched our stay from Marriott to Novotel thinking about location. We booked nearly 3 months ahead for 2 non-smoking rooms and with sofabed. When we arrived we got 2 smoking rooms telling us the hotel is full. Then sofabed received no bedding even though I confirmed a few hours before again (they charge for extra bedding). The bathroom and hotel room floor was dirty. The worst part is that there was large mold coming out of the wall which would be a hazard anywhere else. So they still said no other room available until we went downstairs and showed a picture. The next room was non smoking, but the mold on the wall was just patched up with pieces of wall paper. The front desk never asked if everything was ok afterwards nor greet when we come in. Definitely different then other Novotels and Marriotts where we usually stay. The restaurant staff was great and attentive! Wish there was a separate rating for that.

朝食はとてもよかったが、部屋にアリが大量にいたため非常に不快でした。部屋の湿度が高く、ベッドが湿っぽいのはインドネシアなので仕方ないとしても、アリについてはどうにかしてほしいです。 従業員のサービスには満足しています。

Overall is good. Staffs are friendly, breakfast is good. Bathroom clean is a bit lack. Amenities not enough. Be aware that prayer broadcasts wake you up early morning at 4am.

2025/04/17から２泊３日で泊まりました 部屋は綺麗で広さもちょうど良かったです。 キャリーバッグも開いたまま置いていても大丈夫でした。ただ、ガウンなどの寝る服がなかったのがあったら良かったのにな、とゆう点だけでした。

Good location near Malioboro street. Hotel is on the older side. Room is not cleaned well - still has dust and uncleaned bathroom. Mattress not as comfortable as expected.Have the basic room amenities, but can request.

I stayed at this hotel for five days and was pleasantly surprised by how much it offered, especially for the price. While the building is older, it’s very well maintained, and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds, crisp white sheets, and towels. I had one of the more affordable rooms, but the large east-facing windows offered stunning views of the city and mountains. If you do nothing else, visit the rooftop pool and restobar on the 10th floor—even if you’re staying elsewhere. The views, breeze, and relaxed atmosphere make it a destination. The staff up there were exceptional—shoutout to Andre, Made, Upay, Rhe, and Bhuda. Friendly, honest, and passionate about what they do. I even met the GM and the Chef on two occasions—not drinking, but personally checking in on guests, which says a lot about their commitment. Breakfast is worth including in your booking. There's a wide selection, an outdoor smoking area, and a relaxed setting. The Wi-Fi worked seamlessly for five days straight without needing to log in repeatedly, which is rare. Security was strong and consistent, giving me peace of mind during my stay. A big plus was the list of recommended local restaurants provided at check-in—extensive menus, great food, and nearby. Ironically, the service at those restaurants didn’t match the high-quality service I got at the hotel. Location-wise: Great

The rooms is beautiful and clean. The staffs are all excellent especially Ms. Fitria (Front Desk Manager), Francisco, Windhu. Location is very strategic. Breakfast buffet spreads are excellent. I will give this hotel 6 STARS. Especially to Ms. Fitria our sincere gratitude as she had assisted especially when my 7 years old boy was hospitalized there. The hotel assist us from the transport to the discharged transition while we are there. Thank you once again. Strongly recommended this hotel & will surely return for our next trip.

From check-in to breakfast area to check-out, the service staff are all horrible. 1. Unattentive front desk staff that do not even take notice of you. 2. Breakfast service staff that argues with guests. I asked for the manager to attend to me. Waited for half an hour, service manager was nowhere to be see. 3. Upon checking out they asked how was my stay, i told them it was horrible and they just thanked me for my stay. No service recovery and they just waved me off. I have been to the Novotel chain multiple times but this Novotel is the absolutely worst! You are definitely better off going to other hotels in the area. Because of the horrible experience I had here, I might stay clear of the entire Novotel chain. I would advise other travellers to think twice especially for this hotel. Highly disappointing!

Everyone and everything is great. Zalfa at check in was par excellence and also helped in making train reservation for me. The area is bustling with stores, live music bands, food, horse carriages and what not. Excellent area to stay in. Zalfa also helped in extending our stay for one more night. Highly recommend.

駅からは徒歩12分位で少し歩くが、隣がモールなので、立地は最高。バス停迄は、2分位歩く。 施設は綺麗で新しく、また広い。 朝食も、インドネシア料理や洋食など幅広く、満足。 ただ、クリーニングを頼んだが、こちらが言わないと持って来ない。フロントに言っても遅い。直接、ルームクリーニングの人に言った方が良い。

We switched our stay from Marriott to Novotel thinking about location. We booked nearly 3 months ahead for 2 non-smoking rooms and with sofabed. When we arrived we got 2 smoking rooms telling us the hotel is full. Then sofabed received no bedding even though I confirmed a few hours before again (they charge for extra bedding). The bathroom and hotel room floor was dirty. The worst part is that there was large mold coming out of the wall which would be a hazard anywhere else. So they still said no other room available until we went downstairs and showed a picture. The next room was non smoking, but the mold on the wall was just patched up with pieces of wall paper. The front desk never asked if everything was ok afterwards nor greet when we come in. Definitely different then other Novotels and Marriotts where we usually stay. The restaurant staff was great and attentive! Wish there was a separate rating for that.

Novotel is a very attractive modern and clean hotel, located right off Malioboro, and in close proximity to the train station and the Malioboro mall. My room was very appealing and comfortable, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay here again.

The let down for this property was the cleanliness, on arrival there was a cookie in the power socket next to the bed closest to the door and the bathroom also lacked cleanliness. The nooks and crannies of the toilets can easily be cleaned with some bleach and elbow grease, and same with the shower. I imagine the housekeeping staff do not get enough time to do so which is a shame as the facilities outside of the room were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and had a large selection of foods. I would have liked to see food items get refilled more frequently as the pasta always seemed to be empty. The staff in all areas were very nice. I got very sick and they called for a doctor to attend the property for further assistance (check up cost about 350k IDR and medications about 450K IDR) which were paid directly to the doctor and no extra cost was applied by the hotel staff. On the same note it’s unfortunate the state of the bathroom was not very inviting during this time as the grime made me feel even more sick and queasy on sight. The hotel staff called to check in on me the next day which was appreciated. My partner spent a lot of time at the rooftop bar and loved the live music and bar tending staff and would recommend spending some time up there if you do stay here.

Security was strong and consistent, giving me peace of mind during my stay. A big plus was the list of recommended local restaurants provided at check-in—extensive menus, great food, and nearby. The staff there were very nice and kind. Room was very clean. Location is great, near to shopping mall and markets. Everything was good including the morning breakfast.

Friendly staff. Waiter cannot speak English at restaurant. Rooms are not so clean. Cannot figure all lights inside the room. There is no master switch. Appreciate they have got universal power socket though. Dislike the smell at the hotel, smell like toilet. It is also quiet on the floor.

We are a family of 5 from US traveling in Indonesia. The level of service we recieved in Novotel hotel was far beyond what we can imagine. My husband got sick and they were so helpful. The hotel is clean, very centric. I'd recommend to anyone!!
