This B&B is a beautiful historic home about 10 minutes from Tours with convenient parking inside the property. The room had a lot of character with exposed wooden beams with a/c, comfortable and clean. The host was extremely hospitable and helpful in giving us information on the numerous fantastic chateaux in the area as well as providing delicious french breakfast. Highly recommended.

This is a magical place! The owner are adorable! If you are looking for 5stars probably not for you, but if you are seeking hospitality and the real flavor or France then I highly recommend you to stay here! The house sits below a cliff and the pool sits on top of cliff for wonderful views. The pool and sauna staircase was tunneled into the cliff 1000 years ago. The sauna sits in a carved out room in the rock cliff for a one of a kind experience. It has a very calming vibe! Enjoy your breakfast with the other like minded travelers and share your experiences.

Hele nette accommodatie met vriendelijke gastvrouw en -heer! We verbleven hier een nachtje op doorreis naar Zuid-Frankrijk, veel fijner dan een F1-hotel. Het zwembad is een aardige klim (niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn), maar we hebben er heerlijk in gezwommen. Voor ons een aanrader in elk geval!

A very nice chambres-dote in the middle of Vouvray. Lovely host and the pool at the top of the cliff (that you get to through a set of caves) has a fantastic evening view of the Loire valley. Secure parking at the property behind a locked gate. We really enjoyed our short stay here

Une chambre d'hôtes fantastique ! J'avais lu les commentaires en ligne avant de réserver mais j'ai tout de même était encore plus surprise en vrai : un accueil chaleureux, tout est tres propre, un cadre enchanteur, la piscine est le clou du spectacle : elle est située tout en haut de la maison avec un passage à travers la roche et des escaliers à monter. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et la table est magnifiquement dressée tous les matins. Des places pour se garer devant sans problème. Un petit Auchan juste à côté... Bref un séjour sans faute que je recommande vivement !

Utmärkt boende centralt i Loire, nära till det mesta, flera uteplatser och en mysig pool som man kommer till genom en gång i berget. Bra sängar, rent, fräsch och en god frukost, skyddad parkering. Mycket vänlig och hjälpsam värdinna. Mycket bättre än så här kan det inte bli!
Utmärkt boende centralt i Loire, nära till det mesta, flera uteplatser och en mysig pool som man kommer till genom en gång i berget. Bra sängar, rent, fräsch och en god frukost, skyddad parkering. Mycket vänlig och hjälpsam värdinna. Mycket bättre än så här kan det inte bli!

Super hébergement, coup de cœur! La propriétaire est d’une gentillesse, établissement très propre, très typique du village, stationnement dans la cour intérieure, pas bcp de choix de resto mais celui au village était parfait pour une famille avec enfants. Je recommande mille fois!!

This hotel has pretty pictures of the exterior but it is quite run down.We had tywo rooms booked - one in the main building which was ok... not worth the money though - and another room in the rock wall which was completely unusable. It was so humid and moldy one could barely breath in there. The dehumidifier had stopped working because it was full. We tried to make it work but it was too much; we asked very nicely if they would please grant us a refund because we simply could not stay in that room but the owners refused, saying we should have canceled 24 hours ahead (when we had not seen or smelled the room). This hotel is NOT a pleasant place to stay and definitely not worth the rate.

The property is situated on a rock face in the village of Vouvray. Its a beautiful property and the owner greeted us on our arrival. She was extremely gracious and welcoming. The room was beautiful, spacious and incorporated much of the local granite/rock in its construction.The breakfast was a continental one and very good. I would certainly return to this property again.

This was an amazing property!! Serene with elegant charm. My husband is an architect and he loved relaxing in the courtyard and sketching. The rooms are all uniquely appointed. The breakfast room is so bright and cheerful and full of warmth that you could spend the morning there just sitting and sipping tea. We will most definitely comeback and stay longer. Thankyou Annelie!

Host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Building was very very historic. Only draw back was the room had original lock which sounds great but I really wouldn’t gave wanted to exit the room in a hurry.

Amazingly unique and special property. The couple running it were really friendly and provided great service and information. Everything is walking distance. The view from the pool is beautiful. It was a nice hike to a vineyard just above it with a great view of the town.

This B&B is a beautiful historic home about 10 minutes from Tours with convenient parking inside the property. The room had a lot of character with exposed wooden beams with a/c, comfortable and clean. The host was extremely hospitable and helpful in giving us information on the numerous fantastic chateaux in the area as well as providing delicious french breakfast. Highly recommended.
This B&B is a beautiful historic home about 10 minutes from Tours with convenient parking inside the property. The room had a lot of character with exposed wooden beams with a/c, comfortable and clean. The host was extremely hospitable and helpful in giving us information on the numerous fantastic chateaux in the area as well as providing delicious french breakfast. Highly recommended.

Mooi ingericht, schoon appartement bij een chateau op een mooie locatie. Verrassende plek van het zwembad op het dak (met uitzicht). Eigen parkeergelegenheid. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse die goed ontbijt verzorgde. Accomodatie ligt in dorpje met op loopafstand mogelijkheid tot dineren.

We had a Lovely stay , the owner is very attentive, she waited for us to arrive around 10 pm. The place is espectacular with amazing views. 30 minute car ride to the beautiful town of Ambroise, and 1 hour from Chateau Chambord. Highly recommended!

Perfect location for a mid drive one night stop off. The house and location are idyllic on the banks of the Loire and we arrived in time for a dip in the rooftop pool and a meal In the local restaurant In walking distance. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming.

Decent place with welcoming hosts. Best breakfast ever! delicious baquette, coisant, award winning cheese and coffee. Quietly located at a small town near chateua de clos luce and chateau de Chenonceau, later being the must see in the Loire area. Hope to stay longer if we can. Highly recommend!

We stayed at La Rocheliere for one night in July 2024 and we had a lovely stay. We were welcomed at the property and we immediately felt comfortable. Spacious room, beautiful kitchen, great breakfast, quiet, peaceful. We highly recommend this property if you are in the Loire valley.

Annie was a wonderful host The property simply the most charming and characterful of our entire Loire road trip. Wonderful pool with views located at the top of the cliff with magnificent views!- a real W facing sun-trap! Breakfast simply delicious. Safe secure gated parking in courtyard.
