Så dejligt et sted. Glad for at bo i stille omgivelser i tilpas afstand til smukke Hoi An centrum. Fik det hele med smuk strand og dejligt hotel samt Hoi Ans charme kun en køretur væk.

Nydelig resort med umiddelbar tilgang til stranden, en flott hage og basseng. Rommet var romslig og rent. Likte veldig godt at rommene hadde romslige kjøleskap og vannstasjon til påfyll av vann på glassflasker. Og på den måten reduserte både kostnader og miljøet, og tilgang til rent drikkevann hele tiden. Servicen var upåklagelig, det samme var maten. Det eneste jeg savnet var at rommet kunne lukte litt fukt når AC ikke stod på. Kan trygt anbefale denne nydelige resorten!

Notre séjour au Sea'La Vie a malheureusement très mal commencé. Nous avions réservé via Hotels.com une chambre pour 4 personnes, mais à notre arrivée, nous avons découvert une chambre avec seulement 3 lits simples, sans avoir été avisés à l’avance. Une solution a finalement été trouvée avec un changement de chambre prévu le lendemain. Nous avons ensuite voulu profiter de la plage devant l’hôtel, qui était l’une des principales raisons de notre réservation, notamment pour nos enfants. Nous avons alors découvert qu’elle était complètement inaccessible en raison d’importants travaux qui durent apparemment depuis le printemps 2025 : grues, barges, pelles mécaniques et beaucoup de bruit. Nous comprenons parfaitement la nécessité de restaurer et solidifier la plage. Le problème est que l’hôtel n’en informe pas clairement ses clients avant leur arrivée, alors que la plage est un élément majeur mis de l’avant pour promouvoir l’établissement. Cela donne malheureusement une impression de fausse représentation. Nous avons demandé l’annulation du reste du séjour. D’abord refusée, notre demande a finalement été acceptée par le gérant et les 3 nuits restantes nous ont été remboursées. Nous apprécions ce geste, mais cette situation aurait facilement pu être évitée avec plus de transparence.

It's hard to rate this property at the moment as the beach in front of the hotel is currently under heavy construction and inaccessible. The nearest usable beach is a few minutes' walk away but you'll have to rent lounge chairs if you don't want to roast under the sun. The hotel itself is small-ish but nice. The lofts are nice and comfortable, though the bathrooms lacked ventilation. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is good considering the size of the hotel and even has an egg station and nice local dishes. The onsite spa is also nice. Overall, the hotel is nice enough but the major downside is of course the beach construction rendering it unusable (until at least the end of the year according to the staff) and the noise and vibration it creates. On the plus side, this whole side of Hoi an beach is now very quiet and much less touristy. It dependsn what you want and the deal you can get... but if you need beach access from the h ootel, you'll have to seek elsewhere until the end of the repairs.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS – BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE! Extremely disappointing experience. We booked a studio with sea view and balcony expecting a relaxing beachfront stay with our children. Instead, there is major construction directly on the beach, with huge pipes, bulldozers, drilling and heavy machinery. Worst of all, work starts as early as 4:00 AM and continues until late. We have had NO proper sleep or rest. The vibrations are so strong that we can actually feel our bed vibrating while lying in it. NONE of this construction was disclosed on the hotel's website or on Hotels.com when we booked. Had we been informed, we would NEVER have booked here. The room is also dusty and basic kitchen utensils are missing, despite booking a studio with kitchen facilities. Management's response has been appalling. We escalated our complaints multiple times through WhatsApp and, incredibly, received an emoji as a response on one occasion. We also spoke directly to the manager, but there was little meaningful reaction or concern. Our impression was that protecting the hotel's money was more important than finding a fair solution. We are travelling with children and simply moving hotels with all our luggage is not a reasonable solution to something that should have been disclosed BEFORE booking. We have photos, videos and messages documenting everything. NO SLEEP. NO REST. 4 AM CONSTRUCTION. BED VIBRATING. NO PRIOR WARNING. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.
